Yes, a few players know how to do it. I tried from the very start when I made an attempt to start playing CVs and since it was T4 it worked out pretty well even though in the end I didn't like CVs at all and stopped playing them anyways after very few battles anyways. And I wish more people did. Tried at least, not gonna ask too much. But that's not what you can expect from the average CV player. FFS, people complains about how the average BB player sucks but then you look at the average CV player out of divisions and sometimes it looks like someone who couldn't stand the stress of being shot at in a BB at the map border so he jumped in a CV. That's the kind of guy that pissed a team off when you get one.

SCHARNHORST Edit: Ok, now after reading past the title as someone said the problem of tier 7 is the premium ship factory it is, silver ships you have the Pensacola which is very unforgiving to play, maybe when you have New Orleans as T7 it gets a little better (don't know since I haven't ever player NO yet, but it's hard to imagine it can get worse). Premium ships you have a premium Pensacola Indianapolis so same as Pensacola and Atlanta, which can be a lot of fun but it's really squishy too. USN doesn't have the best premiums at T7 and silver cruisers aren't great at that tier either having to consider being uptiered too and the premium competitors at that tier.

Mmm... not that I'm defending what OP says, but... I don't think that if CVs were visible all the battle in the minimap would change that fact from what we see now. When do you see a CV that keeps moving after reaching behind the island closer to the map borderand follows the fleet to save flight time and the frecuency of his attacks anyways? Once in a blue moon at best. In fact, forgetting OPs butthurt about being farmed by a CV who knows why I think it would be interesting. CVs are an important target after all and the least thing we see is them acting accordingly until the last moment when someone sneaks to shoot at them. Also a CV asking for help then and someone responding to it because of (yeah, I agree with that at least) most CVs just do their random thing farming damage without helping the team much sometimes so a lot of people ignores when the CV asks for help and even feels that their CV deserved it if they actually get sunk (yeah, I was a moron back in the day too). So I actually think something like the CV being marked somehow in the minimap would be interesting because they actually would have to follow the team closer for protection and wasting less time between attacks bacause of less flight time of the planes, would give reasons to the team to actually take care of their CV too and to the CV to play more team oriented protecting the team a bit more so they can protect the CV. Just my two cents on this.

I understand that a flooding that starts while a BB has it's damage control up gets repaired instantly, but don't you get the flooding ribbon anyways even if it does 0 damage because of the insta-repair? -

Haven't cheched on the stats for that yet. I'm not planning on playing them past tier 4 where you can probably devastate a ship if you hit them anyways so I haven't looked at the flooding chance. -

Could be but it's really weird. As far as I know ships have a chance or resisting a flood if torps hit the armored belt but in the bow they're supposed to always deal a flood. -

If your torps being USN ones pretty much, incapable of surprising DDs in smoke in "a fair exchange" for being harder for BBs to detect for which you'll have to manage to gun down other DDs/cruisers in the way or going all the way around the map to surprise BBs being useless the long time you'll need to get there I guess that's the point of them for you. Other that that, not a DD player really, but I guess none. You could choose an American or Russian DD and do your usual stuff as always. -
Between only bad abusing of chatbans and opening more ways of bad abuse of the report system I'll leave it as it is. It's bad enough already, no need to made it worse, thanks. In fact for the real use it has I'd be in favor of just remove any way to report or compliment and karma. Both things are just useless TBH and there's no need for them.

Yes, I know, I know. As I said I think is a great idea and I agree with it. In fact, don't quote me on that because it was quite some time ago, but I think something like that was done, DDs got XP for spotting damage, BBs for potential damage and such but I don't remember exactly if they changed that (who knows the reason) to kind of revert that (BBs getting XP for spotting and DDs for "tanking"?). I don't know what the changed back or removed again that was a good idea like this but then they changed it again and there was complaints about that. Long time ago as I said so I don't remember well what it was.

It's a good idea, but obviosly how X XP you get for X potential damage should be tweaked a bit. 2 million damage can be obtainable at high tiers but at medium tiers (let's suppose for a moment people would be willing to get hit for XP for a moment please) 2 million potential damage for a decent amount of XP would mean you would have to yolo in which is bad for the rest of the team if ships just go in and die and would reward more for that kind of bad play. What I want to say with this is that I'm all in for giving BBs and incentive to go in and fight like they should but no to an extent where they find out that rushing the enemy doing nothing and dying in one or two minutes rewards them either. We have to look for a balance to that.

But we are not complaining about BB AP doing just 1300 damage to DDs. The problem is when as I said earlier in one of my post someone goes and just like how happened with my Yamato, you hit a DD with only one shell, you get a regular pen ribbon but you see 14000+ damage bacause of that only shell. That's the problem. And yeah, a bug. -
I also agree with this. An indicator of the type of bombs each bomber squad carries should be implemented similar to the diferent icon between regular torpedos and the new deepwater ones. I'd even sugest a fire icon for regular HE bombs and a bomb similar to the bomb hits for carriers for the AP ones to make it easier to distinguish than deepwater torps against regular ones icon.

Mutsu is T6 at least so even if the guns are meh at T6 you kinda can work with that. Tier 7? Good luck with that. Sometimes I wonder how they don't remember why they removed the stock hulls to have the balls to put them again in the game with a pricetag.

*Looks serious at MM* Jokes aside, yeah, T8 sucks lately. T6 was the bad tier previously but now it's almost enjoyable since T8 is constantly feeding T10 so you don't see T8 that often and even if you do usually there's few of them.

Full salvo for that? Bah. The other day I fired one turret (3 shells) to a Z-52. Only 1 shell hit the DD and lost 14k damage. He better be grateful that DDs don't have citadel because the damage was pretty much the same anyways and Yamato has those turrets rusted as hell and couldn't shoot one more gun at him. -
Not game related but if we could have this emoticon but with a sword kinda like in this one instead of the money would be great. Today I felt the need of an emoticon like that.

Don't know man, I'm not a historian. I only remember reading that at first it was only a thing that the natives ate as usual and somehow it wasn't seen as good at the time and that the church had something to do about that with their weird ideas at the time. Spain was still a shitstorm back then turning from a recluded area of the peninsula to the damn empire of the sun, anything could happen, I don't know. -

Well, considering all this in Spain happened around the time Spain recovered it's territory from the muslims we had a nice thing going on called the Spanish inquisition chasing down those believing "in the false god" and checking you were still catholic when you never expect it, so yeah... you better left logic aside and do what the church says at that time.
