I don't know about this, but meh, maybe. However since they add the different ribbons to show what each shell did you would expect some kind of accuracy in the info ribbons give not random or mission ribbons. Sometimes makes me thinks that what if karma actually does something and it's reroll the dices for each shell to get a better result even if you where supposed to get a bad shot? This however I'd said it before and I agree with that, things like that happens to all classes and to any gun, but BB caliber and rate of fire make you notice it more than usual, but I had weird damage results with cruisers too from time to time. -

As much as I'd like to have a reason to keep playing my cruisers I pretty much turned into a BB main considering how screwed cruisers have been since months so I have plenty of time to look how beautiful the minimap is between salvos.

Maybe they could add a filter to the carrousel to show only ships with special upgrades equipped so it would be easier to find them between all the others.

Lot's of people still don't know the horn exists and how to use it. A few hours ago I did the "press N to see player stats" as I commented earlier and one of my team mates fell for that one but he was so happy about it after that. It almost made me laugh when he said in chat "WG WE NEED THIS HORN EVERYDAY!!" pushing with me and another ship a flank 3 vs 5 ships, the three of us spamming hohohos chasing the enemy. It made my day. -
Reminds me of a Leningrad yesterday night. Killed two of our three DDs pretty much single handedly and proceeded to lure a pack of 4 BBs that started chasing him since he was in that flank alone and none of them hit him once because of how fast that thing is. Until I that I own one and I'm more used to that speed changed to HE in my Scharnhorst and hit him with a single shell from 15 km. Boom. Detonation. I had to apologize to that guy and it was good for our stupid 4 BBs that that distraction was removed but deleting someone that in that case was doing a really good job on his side just like that feels bad man...

Yes, that's annoying. I have to admit I use to spam the horn A LOT. I love to get the "drunk santa" horn as I call it, I don't know how to tell exactly which one it is, but I guess horn user will know which one I mean and sometimes that happens, people think I'm just trolling and not serious. But then sometimes people laughs when I start getting confederate, high caliber, kraken and that stuff and I'm like "hohohoing" at everything I do. The hohoho is a lot of fun for me. I'll miss it but I get it doesn't have much of a point out of christmas. -

I don't know what do you expect from the one that says that nerfs to other classes doesn't make life easier for BBs specially, that direct buffs to BBs haven't been that much so people's just talking nonsense, it's all good, no problems anywhere. -

It's fun to see that people still asume only RN BBs spam HE... It's not like everyone has suffered brain damage because of that and 2/3s of BBs spam HE regardless of being RN or not these days... Apparently even Yamatos think HE is the way to go lately... -
Except they already said it's not a BB AP problem, nor a DD problem, just that DDs are more noticeable in the recieving end and BBs are when you notice more dealing weird amounts of damage per shell due to the high caliber but that happens to all classes. So in fact they don't have to either change BB AP specifically nor the armor of any ship in particular, they said it's a problem with the core mechanics of how damage is dealt and calculated, that why it's so difficult to change without screwing anything else and why it takes so long to apply a fix for it but it's just a matter of time. So in the end it would be an overall change for everyone, the same type of change that can be applied to even premium ships. It has nothing to do with how BB AP in particular interacts with anything, you just notice it more with BBs than with cruisers or DDs. So as I said, not a nerf for BBs, nor a buff for DDs. Get it?

Seems to happen too if you pen the torpedo bulge of a ship but the belt blocks or bounces the shell. Then you also have the other case of overpens dealing more damage than they should, pens doing more damage too. I even dealt once a citadel to a BB that dealt citadel + regular pen damage in just one shell. The way damage is dealt is messed up for quite some time now.

Whenever they fix how AP overpen DDs let's remind this. It will not be a DD buff, not a BB nerf.

From the development blog. ST, British battleship Duke of York, tier VII Removed the "Defensive AA Fire" consumable. Added the "Repair Party" consumable with following stats: 28 seconds duration, 120 seconds cooldown, 2 charges (80 seconds cooldown, 3 charges for premium equipment). Changed stats of the "Damage Control Party" consumable: 15 seconds duration, 120 seconds cooldown (80 seconds cooldown for premium equipment). "Hydroacoustic Search" consumable's number of charges is decreased, its stats remain unchanged: 94 seconds duration, 4.2 km ship detection range, 2.97 km torpedo detection range, 180 seconds cooldown, 1 charge (120 seconds cooldown and 2 charges for premium equipment). Fire duration is increased from 30 to 60 seconds. Main battery reload time is increased from 25 to 29.5 seconds. Rudder shift time increased from 15 to 17.5 seconds. Sigma count is decreased from 2.05 to 1.8. These changes make Duke of York's gameplay closer to classic battleships, while the addition of "Repair Party" allows for more aggressive combat. Sounds like a bad KGV with hydro to me.

Back in the days before radar and where smoke was a DD only thing and you had something else to do than just being spotted by a DD and murdered by a BB without a whole map covered in smoke so you have nothing to shoot at. BBs were burned a lot because of that by cruisers, a lot less of them which happen to be a lot more cruisers back then. Good times.

The game doesn't recognize you haven't been AFK until you hit someone, a shame that you missed, but luck. As for the detonation, well, welcome to the game. Enjoy them. -
"We" as in the people that don't want detonations and don't like them. Group of which you excluded yourself already. Is that better?

Don't worry my friend. They're gonna "rework" that. Let's see how many years will take for WG to realize no one asks for a rework of detonations. We want detonations GONE.

I'll give you the benefit of doubt and just hope you're trolling. Short range, slow, even slower shells that need to go to space before trying to hit any ship... Any ship can just stay away from you and outrange you, it even has problems to hit the DDs it's supposed to hunt at 10 km, ffs. I even can dodge the shells of Atlantas with AFT with a damn BB of how long takes for that (yeah, I admit that) beautiful rainbow of shells falling from another planet. If the USN CL split resembles anything like that in the slightest I won't even bother to touch them.
