Imagine 70% of the matches at tier X turned to be in the Ocean map. It would be hilarious just because of the chaos that would be compared to what tier X turned into last years.

Some people don't want to see detonations, no matter if it's randoms or competitive. Some people doesn't even give a flying f**k about competitive and are still forced to use a stupid flag with an unrealistic effect for a flag because we "need" to keep a realistic bulls**t in the game. And even then when you run out you are forced to get one to be able to waste 10 more stupid flags in the next 10 matches because you can mount a flag and maybe you wouldn't have a detonation so you just wasted it. But yeah, at least I get it that WG had to have a way to frustrate the crap out of players to get some income without just making a good enjoyable game worth expending something on.

What I can't grasp is why we have detonations because it's a real thing that happened but we have a flag that prevents them. What kind of bullsh*t is that? What does a flag do to prevent a detonation? Or fires or floodings? I think those should be removed and stop interfering in the magnificence of big real kabooms.

Sure, and it's not like I dislike his idea either. I'm just pointing out what would happen if WG tried to remove detonations just from ranked and clan battles as he says even if it's a reasonable request. The shitstorm that would come from the people in random would be something like we haven't seen before (and we had a few already). What I'm trying to say is that either one day WG decides to remove detonations from the game by complaints (not really putting that much faith in that tbh ) or if they just try to remove it from ranked and CB we'll see floods of topics like "remove detonations completely or detonations for everyone, no game modes safe from detonations".

Which is never going to happen either because of the riot WG would have by the rest of the playerbase because of them removing detonations for those specific modes but not for randoms and just removing them completely from the game, so...

Just wait for that. If normal mode already gets all these threads, imagine when they implement the hard versions of operations. Can't wit to see someone of OMNI or a clan like that opening a topic because they tried to do an operation and got roflstomped by insane bots, because if the current operations are the easy mode and there's already so much complaints about it...

Before WG being serious about making the French DDs comparable to IJN ones in terms of guns and their gimmick being just the consumable on this one making them be like: Then you better kill any gunboat you came across like that in the 10 seconds you have or RIP because if not your real reload is garbage. On a serious note, I don't know what WG's thinking with this consumable, the ship's reload is bad, the consumable will only work on really specific situations or just be worthless... And anyways what the consumable does feels straight up unreal this time and that's before we already have this go through islands radar, but come on... Gun reload going from 7 seconds to 1'75... What's next, WG?

Well, I could agree that it could be a radar equipped ship more fair than other DDs at first glance, but combine the (let's assume 15 second duration considering it's a tier VIII DD as pan-asian ones) radar with the reload consumable giving it 1'75 second reload for 10 seconds and people would just wait to be sure to be sure to be detected by an enemy DD, use both consumables at the same time and it could really punish a DD in that time at least.

Hmm... not that I know much about DDs to be honest, but 7 second gun reload outside of when using the consumable, 25'7 seconds 180 degree turret traverse... sounds japanese levels of bad to me, so not a gunboat. Fast as f**k, yeah, but with 7'15 km detection at best even if you try to "stealth torp" someone some other DD is going to spot you from the moon anyways for a DD so I don't think it might be effective either... I wonder what's this DD about. Looks bad to me to be honest. Is it "Le Terrible" enough yet?

Should be a matter of logic at this point. Get you clan mates with which you can cooperate and don't ever play with random players.

I vote for him being an USN captain that gives something never seen before too. Something like giving +50% shell velocity. Because he doesn't fire the shells with the ship, he kicks them in person to other ships. I'd be pleased with that.

Just play something that's not CVs that just a pretty small minority wants to play as said before and problem solved. Specially at those hours.
