Why does it matter that submarines end at the bottom of the XP scoreboard though? It's just the XP scoreboard and XP is irrelevant. Any player ending at the top of the XP scoreboard also gets better stats, which are also irrelevant.

Then why does it matter if in 99% of matches submarines end at the bottom of the scoreboard of XP? XP doesn't matter.

100% agreed, but don't worry, next patch they've announced we'll be playing the battleship boardgame when "countering" subs.
