    Well, sadly thats the current meta (I know its flavour of the month and all of that). You have 5 BBs / 5 DDs and 2 cruisers per side. So mainly, your choice is (as a BB) to shoot at their BBs or DDs.

    Well, you see, that is the major problem. German BB is rushing your BB? what can you do? You can start turning away to run into your "comfort zone" while showing your broadside for 30 seconds because of 1km turning radius and getting citadeled by half of their team, loosing half (or more) of your hp in the process, or you can stand your ground, and try to outbrawl him with your 1337 maneavurs and positioning etc. 2nd thing is, if I'm constantly in my comfort zone, aka 15km away from ger BB, that means I'm constantly moving away from the caps, letting them push and easily win the game. If its normal battle, then yea, you can position yourself to fight them from distance, if its domination (or god forbid epicenter) they have a huge advantage simply because of their pushing power. (just my 2 cents)

  6. actually I'm not really sure its a "massive nerf" since they will penetrate everything from every angle, not giving fudge about angling etc. so instead of 1 pen for 300 damage and 10 bounces for 0 damage every 5 sec, you will get 10 pens for 150 damage... thats not really "massive nerf" in my book. but its all just speculations, so we have no idea how will that work out. (at least I don't)

    RN CLs With New AP

    Sadly, this is whats bothering me when it comes to this game too. Its not nearly the same game as before. And I'm not sure its going in good direction. Before you had (quite) simple rules: You are in a CA/CL, you show your broadside, eat nice AP salvo, you pay for it. You are in a BB, you show broadside, you eat AP salvo and pay for it. Then came "AP normalization" or whatever its called, so you get those nice magic 1k salvos against broadside cruisers from 10km away because of overpens. Then came ze German BBs with their magic turtleback armor that cannot be citadeled, so they can merily sail broadside to you all day long flipping you middle finger without any concernes about getting deleted. Now they plan to introduce shells that ignore angling etc. I don't like where all of this is going... Just make it so every shell does 1k damage and every ship has 50/30/15k hp, depending on class and make it sharpshooting contest, screw other game mechanics, who needs em anyway.
  8. For me, that ship is OK. Nothing more, nothing else. Its not the bad ship, but after spending so much time in IJN BBs, pounding everything with Kongo / Fuso, I'm missing that WHOA effect when you score 30k salvo with your Kongo. Yes, that guns will penetrate, you will get a standard 4-6k salvos, so the damage will add up over time, but I just don't have a feeling I can WIN the games with it. I can't carry a team. Yes I can deal a lot of damage, but thats over large amount of time, wheres I can delete enemy ship in first 2 minutes of the game with Kongo / Fuso, giving my team an early advantage, or change the balance of the game later on with a well placed salvo... So in a terms of comparing Kongo and Konig: guns: Kongo >> Konig armor: Konig >>> Kongo speed: Kongo > konig range: Kongo > konig and especially if you get into t7 games, you are more of a support role, other then a carry / that huge damage dealer.

    Shima would be the best ship in the game then. step 1: Switch to 20km torps step 2: send 15 of them towards enemy team, and watch them eating torps while trying to get the medals step 3: profit

    let me put it different way then. As someone said before, put the service cost up, put repair cost down, balance the earnings (damage dealt) accordingly. So you have to pay 300k creds to enter the game, but if you deal xx damage, aka sink 3 enemy ships you wont loose creds. That way you can: 1) go and fight and get creds 2) sit 25 km away in your yamato, hoping to score 10 hits trough the game and loose creds. another way this would balance the game would be that you have 3 solutions regarding players. 1) you are a bad player that can't have a good game in t10, so you have to play a lot of mid tier games to earn creds to play high tier ones (in that process you are learning to play better as well) 2) you are a good player that wont loose creds no matter what he does in the game 3) you are a bad player that will get himself premium thingies to allow him to play high tier games more often 4) you are a good player that will get premium time to speed up his grinding towards higher tier ships its basicly a win - win situation. WG won't loose their income, higher tier games will be populated by more or less better players, and games won't (HOPEFULLY) be such a static campfest they are now... (I think )

    I completely understand WGs logic behind their economy. But currently (while playing some ships at least) it seems like game is punishing you for getting to "endgame content" to call it that way, aka to high tier gameplay. As I said, I understand that you will loose A LOT of creds when you have bad game, that you won't earn creds on t10, etc etc etc. But having to kill half of enemy team just to break even is a nonsense. We all (ok, most of us) have mid tier ships, we have our fav ships, we have our "earners" etc, and I don't mind it, I just want not to be punished for playing the game properly, lets put it that way, because I don't know how else to put it.

    Considering high tier BBs economy... Its not how much their repair / service costs that bugs me. Its the amount of things you actually need to do to break even / not loose ridiculous amount of creds. This is my last game in Yamato. 6 kills, devastating strike on their cruiser, 2 base caps etc, and I've survived. Earned 50k creds. If I died, I'd probably loose 20k creds. So to break even, if you die, you need to what, kill 6 full hp enemies? Aint that a tad too much? I mean, I understand that its t10. And if I do bad, I know I'm gonna loose 200k creds... But when you go completely insane and you wreck enemy team, game still flips you a middle finger and say "Yup, that will cost you 100k creds." Thats just annoying. Ofc you will snipe from behind and try not to get damaged because that will minimize the damage you recived and let you walk out with credits lost...

So, in ARP there are quite a lot ships they didn't want to include, and now in this anime you have: 1) Yamato - not gonna happen ever 2) Kagero - might happen after IJN DD split so Kagero gets dropped to t8 3) Kongo - aka Hiei, we have that one from ARP, so I'm not sure I need 5th Kongo in my port 4) Deutschland-class cruiser - probably not gonna happen for WG to make a "not yet implemented" ship into the game as a anime ship, instead of being a premium one. Sooooooooooo, what will we exactly get from this? (Don't really care if its anime or not, but free ships in my port are always nice) btw is it only me, or those guns on Graf Spee are just too big for the hull ( yyy I know they are historicaly made that way )
