I've played like 150-200 battles in Amagi, and around 20-30 in last 2-3 days. If I get cought in a bad position, I get citadeled. End of story. But you can continue to talk how its impossible to do it, or how tanky it is... And I knew someone will grab onto bow on tanking I didn't say bow armor is 20 mm thinner, I've just said that you cannot use the bow on style as you can on NC, because you will get regular pens a lot more against bow on Amagi then NC. Be it deck armor, bow armor, turret armor, superstructure size, placement of turrets, I don't give a damn honestly. Its just a observation from my gaming experience that I will deal much more consistent damage to bow on Amagi then NC...

The lightest armor of all battleships from t8-10, and even lighter when compared to some t6-7 BBs. As soon as you give any hint of broadside, every good shot (if RNG doesn't flip you a middle finger) will be citadel... Even when bow on, it will get large amount of pens, and you can reliably hurt him... Only way to bounce shells is to angle, and by that I don't mean being straight bow on, but trying to catch shells with your side armor but under good angle to shrug them off.

If he moved close enough to get sink, hes allready done more than 50% of your regular BB players.

ofc its 100% troll, but in the end we are in a Gameplay section of World of Warships forum, aren't we? But as said before, if it was an allied ship sinking German, that would be honorable/good/heroic/bla bla bla, you name it? Nah, it would still be same number of people killed, but you know, history is written by the victors, so this is tragic event, and sinking of numerous german / ijn ships is not. Thats not how it works mate If you ask me, wars shouldn't even exist in the first place, but well, thats something that we shouldn't discuss here...

Hi, I might be young, so where you see a man killing 833 man, I see a man deleting a noob BB that was camping / AFKing at spawn. And yea, what is there not to congratulate for? They've sailed across God knows how much miles, managed to get undetected near the port, managed to get INTO the port, and took out a battleship unpunished. Its quite a ballsy and well done feat if you ask me. And since you are quite a moral man if I may notice, and (again if I may notice, you seem quite proud of your fleet / country etc), tell me, did your soldiers / ships went to that war bringing flowers and warm hugs, or they went there to kill enemies / sink their ships?

OK guys, don't spam the poor BB captain with salty tears, lets keep the realistic aspects... Something like: - Your poor sad BB should have 2-3% accuracy, not 30%. Aka good luck hitting ANYTHING, let alone DD from 10km away. - Japanese DDs had the best torpedos, the ones that were next to invisible, so translated into the game, torp detectability should be what, 1km instead of 3km or whatever it is now? - tier by tier, your BB shouldn't in most cases be able to survive 2 torp hits, let alone 5 Long Lances - smoke screens were actually quite good to hide even BB, let alone DD - You couldn't repair your ship at sea - Getting torped into bow lets say would blow your bow off, and make you slow down (if not render you combat useless) to 5 knots - there was no BB that had such a good AA as they have in the game, so any BB would be easy food for any carrier wanna balance it more?

Pretty much this... They weren't preventing "kemp bush", they were forcing it... Every freaking high tier game was shimas spamming 20km torps, and half of the game you would spend dodging them left right and center... (eating few of them ofc) So noone sane would push into 30-60 or whatever torp walls, thus sitting back and hoping that someone will scout that pesky DDs/ torps before they catch up to you... And as much as I'm annoyed by this 6 BBs per side meta, ty but I don't want shima spam back either...

Was expecting Shchors on top, was not dissapointed That thing is a goddamn flamethrower and one of the most brutal cruisers I've played in terms of dealing damage / bullying BBs... Honorable notice: Shchors is actually a lot better HE spammer then cleveland because of large range difference and abillity to spam from larger distances + those russians railguns make hitting targets 10x easier with Shchors then with good old Cleveland and her rainbow arcs. Yup, its certanly fun when you get your t10 blown up with single shell at 100% of hp and you loose 200k credits instantly because of fun mechanic. much fun such wow.
