  1. Well, lets be honest, can you really blame them... OK, they failed because they used t5 carrier But maybe he tried to finish the campaign task... Anyway, my point was, they were probably new players, and although you and me might not care for 1 mil creds (ok, I do care about it, but not that much), new players want that pretty much. And with "new and improved" missions we are getting from WG, it only makes everyone frustrated. People trying to finish it, and people on their team as well.

    regarding modules: Put them on the ship Click on them There is X in top right corner when you hover your mouse over it Click X There you can choose: Demount for 50 dobloons, or sell. Choose sell, and you will sell them at half of price (500k for 1mil module etc). Rinse and repeat

    Probably couldn't pair you up with a proper carrier, since there are carriers in queue. edit: just saw what you wrote: then it was a simple bug. restart probably fixed it.

Hahaha, if someone told me I will get step 4 completed with A FREAKING HATSUHARU, I would have called him a lunatic Best part is, I didn't even chase CV around, went to cap, bumped into him passing next to cap And for some reason, I thought I need 125 000 damage and I'll be few K short... Good thing, I was mistaken (bad thing is, now they will see people completed it, and say "You see, it wasn't that hard... "

  7. Why are you even trying people? To OP: I hope I never meet you ingame. I would like to say I'd love to see you on the enemy team, but that would be too rude. Not to you, but to the rest of the team. Now please, show yourself out, and switch back to CO-OP battles so you don't ruin the game for other people.
  8. Using Cancolle mod reduces your flooding chance by 30 % On a more serious note, hitting bow / stern of the ship has a lot larger chance of flooding then hitting the middle of the ship. I did manage to finish that mission, (from a first try) BUT, I manged to get my 2nd kill literary 10 seconds before game ended / someone killed the last guy we needed to win on points, but my bombers managed to secure that kill. If I failed to kill that guy, I would rage " A BIT". Not much, just a bit... I mean, just look at the score, and imagine if I failed to finish the freaking mission.... PS. CVs OP, nerf pls

    About secondaries

    Last bismarck game with secondaries blazing away: 112 secondary hits 12k damage 18k fire damage I wouldn't call that "meh". 12k damage is a nice juicy broadside salvo on enemy BB, not even counting the fires, and usually that one salvo to finish off someone when brawling means A LOT (aka will you live or die, or will you loose half of your hp or not).

    About secondaries

    They won't deal much damage to enemy BBs because they will not pen most of BB armor, but can still set him on fire... But they will simply murder any DD that tries to come close, or even if they don't murder him, they are a big "f*** it, I'm out of here" thing for any DD with a brain. Yesterday Hatsuharu did manage to finish off my Bismarck with yolo run (jumped behind the island), but lost 80% of hp in the process (to finish off 5k hp Bismarck), just to die 5 sec later to my teammate shooting her. Fair trade? I don't think so.

  12. With all the buffs to BB AA, I'm quite happy to see CV when taking out mid tier BBs out for a game. Heck, I even hope they target me, so I can get more Xp / creds. Main problems are t9-10 CVs that can strike you quite reliably, and playing t3-4 ship with basicly no AA. Rest is quite fine.
  13. To be honest, I'm more scared of friendly cruisers with torpedoes... There is a (slight) chance that DD players learned not to torp their teammates when they get to t6-7... But when you give a guy that played only cruisers longer range torps (6-10km), you can be 90% sure he will fire them on that 15km away guy, and it doesn't matter that you are sitting 5km away from him...

    considering that most of subforums are somewhat dead, if you want to discuss something, you post in gameplay... simple as that. Btw, you chose the wrong subforum for this topic since it has nothing to do with gameplay.
  15. Yea, friendly torps could be more visible or something, but also the guy that is sending torps in friendly direction (aka 2nd row torping) should be instantly hit by a chair. Or if they cannot code that, then he should be blown up instantly as soon as he tries to torp in a general direction of his mates.

    Weekend? This whole week was goddamn awful when it comes to high tier games (8+). I have no idea where the heck did all those guys crawl out from, but high tier games were next to unplayable.
  17. OK, obviously WG has noticed the oversaturation of BBs, so they gave us a new mission that can be done in CRUISERS ONLY from tiers 4 onward. So, the mission is broken into 5 stadiums, and the reward for completing mission is a Port slot. (not bad, right) But, the stadiums are: In one battle destroy 1 ship (meh, easy) Survive the battle, destroy one ship, join the top 5 in your team by experience (oh well, a bit more demanding, since you have to survive the battle and be on top 5, but no big deal) Cause 500 000 damage to enemy ships, destroy 10 ships (OK, dealing 500 000 damage in 7 days isn't that big of a deal, destroying 10 ships is an annoying grind as always since it requires you to get the last hit, but doable) IN ONE BATTLE destroy 4 ships, join top 4 by experience AND cause 125 000 damage to enemies (IN ONE GOD DAMN BATTLE. Just dealing 125k damage in 1 battle, in a cruiser is a HUGE feat for your regular cruiser player, BUT, thats not enough, you have to get 4 kills as well???? WHAT THE F**K???) IN ONE BATTLE destroy 3 ships, join top 3 by experience AND HIT 7 CITADELS (3 kills AND SEVEN CITADELS in a CRUISER when you have a game that is composed of BBS and DDs with some random cruiser in the game???? So you have to score 7 citadels on 2 cruisers you meet in game? IN ONE GAME? WHAT THE HELL AM I READING?) And to top it all, you have 7 days to do all of that. Seriously, is WG EU really trolling us? Do they even check the state of their own game from time to time, or they try to raise the biggest sh**storm they possibly can every time they are doing something? PS. sorry for a not so pretty editing of the post, but even editor is bugging out as hell for me. I mean, if nothings working properly, why the hell would even the forum work, right? Edit: 3rd step of mission is not "Cruiser only", so step 4/5 might be any ship as well

    DO NOT BY ANY MEANS GET ADVANCED FIRE TRAINING. Yes, it will give you more range, but thats a waste of skillpoint and you can't hit anything at max range... Btw, this is my video of low tier USN DD. Quite old, but its still the same

    Whoa, thats... A LOT of text. But I'll try to run it trough And just to explain something, since it seems that you think I'm all about how BBs need another buff. Nope. I just want to punish the bad play, and reward good one. Remove frontal citadels (trough the bow), make angled cruisers more durable, less prone to heavy damage and instant deletion, but punish the bad play, aka if someone shows me broadside 10km away from me, I want to score a massive hit on him. End of story. Today I've scored a goddam 4 k damage on broadside Izumo sitting 5km away from my Yamato (1 penetration on his gun, rest overpenetrations hitting bow below the gun, but not going into citadel). THATS whats bothering me. A cruiser sailing 6 km broadside from me, I'm dealing 3k damage every 30 sec to her, she is hitting me back for 5k damage every 15 sec. THATS whats bothering me. I have a screenshot that I took to joke about how Yorck is tankier then Montana. Montana showed me broadside, I scored 30k damage on her, Yorck was showing me broadside, I dealt 2k damage... tl;dr I've dealt like 30k damage with 10 shells on Montana/iowa and 20k damage with 15 shells on Yorck. Hope you understand my view now

    Obvious typo, it was multiple shells And yes, its a quarter of his HP, but you are faster, more agile and all of that then a BB. If you are broadsiding 10km away from a BB, thats your fault, and your fault only. And no, you don't have size and manevuerability of a Battleship. Lets not exaggarate. Only thing that is close to the size of Battleship is Moskva, and Russian cruisers turn like a brick. But they have 16km range starting from freaking t5, coupled with railgun shells. So once again, if you are 10km away from a battleship, you made a mistake.

    main problem is that 1 pen and 3 overpens will alltogether deal less damage then 1 citadel... So you want that citadel.
