I'd really like to hear the answer from the lead team / designers about why is EU always getting cr@p compared to other servers. You know, at least you would know who to blame then. RU, EU, NA, my grandmother (don't really think she has anything to do with this, but who knows)... Ofc, that won't happen, but sometime in future, it would be nice for CCs to pull out that question next time they meet some of the "higher ups" in WoWS team.

Just don't be shy to ask questions on forum about pretty much anything that you want to know. There is a lot of experienced players that will gladly help you, but, just a heads up, ignore trolls and... well... idiots that will just post anything to ruin your day

Depends where your torps hit said BB. They will do most damage when hitting bow / stern, while middle section of ship is protected by torpedo bulge that reduces damage from torpedoes by quite a large amount (almost 50% in case of Amagi). So if you hit Amagi with a Mahan torp in his mid section, you will deal 6k damage per torp.

Altho I do agree on the "you can do well" and "you are ignored more" parts, since most of people will try to take out biggest threats first. (aka you want that Des Moines dead ASAP while you won't really bother with New Orleans) Or just sail Yamato, everyone and their mother love to focus Yamato... If there is 10 DDs sailing in circles around their cruisers / BBs 3 km away from them, they will still focus that big bad Yamato

Well, I tend to disagree a bit on this part. It depends on the ship you play. Benson / Chapayev... I don't mind bringing them to t10 battles. Benson is good overall (great) DD, although Fletcher is better but you are still useful enough. Chapayev has range, has radar etc, can work pretty fine, if nothing else, then for starting fires on Yamatos from behind the islands. New Orleans on the other hand? NOPE! NOPE! NOPE! I don't want to. Yes, you can play like overgrown DD, but without torps, with worse concealment, and paper armor with large citadel. Yes it can work in certain situations, especially when enemies are "not that smart", but any t10 ship you meet will murder you. And no, I don't mean it will be a close fight, I mean straight up murder you, your brother, sister and your dog, and then ask who's next with 90% hp left Again, you can get yourself in good situation, deal damage and everything, but it feels more like a work, then like a game. Painful and stresfull.

Well, thats what I usually do, and what I did then. I know I can easily citadel him under his turrets with BBs, tried it with DM, didn't work out, so I switched my focus to his belly. Got 0 citadels ofc, but got retardedly low damage rolls even in his mid section, and even tho I was ~4 km away from him. (ofc when further away, I just aim at superstructure)

Why is it always the guy with terrible stats the one thats yelling "l2p". And ofc you don't have problems dealing with Bismarcks, you have problems dealing with anything, thats why you have 40% WR in high tiers. Now, you were talking something about braincells?

Care to elaborate? Always nice to learn something new.And as noted, allready (before that) had few fights with Izumos, and never got 1-2k rolls every salvo, so what did I do wrong? where should I aim next time?

There is no reason not to keep her. You can always use a nice port decoration...

Icey allready covered what I ment to said pretty much. 3x (insert ship here) isn't good combo since you all have same strengths and weaknesses and you don't help each other. Des Moines + Gearing on the other hand is scary as hell if they know what they are doing.
