Yes.And that reason is that they are bad at the game, but think they are MLG 360 no scope 1337 players because someone accepted them in a clan. (they thought so before, but now their self esteem got boosted by a solid 50%)

Say what you want, but currently BBs need slight buffs in different areas... Gun accuracy: They should buff BB accuracy... Reliably hitting targets from 20+km is next to impossible because of the goddamn dispersion. Especially cruisers that can turn around so they dodge your shells. Then why do you need dispersion kicking in as well! Secondaries: They should buff secondaries a bit, because they should protect you from DDs, and now they simply don't deal enough damage to stop DD from yolo rushing you... Fires: Reduce the fire chance on battleships... How should I fight cruisers that I should counter, when every HE shell from CA, and even low caliber DD sets 3 fires on me. Thats broken as hell. Anti Air: Your anti air is there mostly for fancy fireworks, and carriers can delete you instantly whenever they want. Buff AA by at least 30%, so they can't kill you with 1 plane squad at the start of the game... German BB torpedo protection: German BBs have ridiculously low torpedo protection. Everyone knows that BBs should be able to take bunch of torpedoes without any meaningful damage, but on German BBs you need like 3 torpedo hits to sink your ship, while you can't even shoot that DD back... Rest is more or less fine, but this slight buffs would make BBs more balanced, and much more fun to play.

People still think high tier battleships are slow? What year is it?

Focusing guys with clan tags? What for? They are usually on the solid rock bottom of the table, but now come in packs, and are louder then before because they think joining clan instantly increased their skill by 80%... (With few exceptions ofc, but I usually know that people by their nickname, not their clan tags...)

Favorite ship by enjoyment: (The ship you feel like is the most fun to play) Can't really name one... It all depends on what I feel like playing at the moment, thats why I have numerous ships from all classes... Sometimes I enjoy brawling with a BB, sometimes I enjoy taking Chapayev and burning down everything from 17km away, sometimes I enjoy jumping into CV and playing a game of chess against enemy CV... Favorite ship by carry potential: (The ship you feel like is the best to carry your team to victory with - in random battles) Des Moines hands down... One of the few ships in game that I think are actually able to carry the game... Most of other ships are good against this or that, but Des Moines has a lot of tools at her disposal. Quite situational ship, you don't want to get focused down, you don't want to enter a long range fights with other ships, but has radar (insanely powerful tool for winning the caps and games), has insane AA, has FREAKING INSANE DPM... There is no ship in the game that wants to meet DM in a close fight. Not even Yamato, because, if you get 2 troll salvos, DM will eat your heart out by the time you shoot your third one... (2nd carry on my list would be Moskva, but don't own her yet ) Favorite ship by economic potential: (The ship you feel like is the best to gain credits with) Des Moines / Blyskawica - Before the economy changes, while everyone was talking about insane economy on t10, I was earning quite a lot of creds in DM. Yes, you had some fail games when you would loose 100-200k creds, but more often then not I've had games with 300k+ gain even without premium... And Des Moines was my first ship that I've earned more then 1 mil creds in one game with, so that stuck in my memory Blyskavica on the other hand is pretty self explanatory... t7 DD with low (negligable) service cost, insane firepower for DD, great fire chance, can stealthfire, can wreck even cruisers... And it has nice MM since she is t7... Its quite hard to have BAD game in Blyska, so you usually can rely on steady income of credits whenever you press battle. That is after the economy changes ofcourse. Favorite ship by achievement potential: (The ship you feel like is the best to farm achievements/flags with (focus on the ones you need/are useful to you)) Eh, this one is a bit harder, since there is a lot of flags in the game, and the game changed quite a lately... But for Arsonist / Witherer flags, I'd go for Chapayev / D.Donskoi ... Stronk Russian Vodka infused shells that burn everything that you can see, and all that while they cannot see you High caliber / Confederate I'd say good old Fuso / Nagato still work wonders, even with the addition of ze balanced German BBs... Both are mid tier ships with good MM, both can wreck pretty much anything you place in front of them... And especially if you are in a cruiser, you don't want that Fusos guns turning your way, because 12 shells usually means devastating strike if you aren't careful Personal favorite: (Simply the ship you like the most, maybe because you like it's history, it's looks, it's feels, it's power, you were on it in real life, a combination of these, etc.) Amagi Might sound strange, because Des moines is my most played ship, and I don't think Amagi is even my 2nd, I belive that Yamato is... But Amagi is simply my favourite ship in the game... The only reason I don't play him more is the +2-2 MM, and since I have Yamato, every time I bring out Amagi and end up in t10 battle, I just say to myself, why the F didn't you take Yamato... A lot of people don't like her, and have a lot against her, but I enjoy every aspect of her. Her whole gameplay fits me from the start, and things I've been able to pull of with her are amazing... Yes, her armor is a bit weaker, yes you don't want to show your broadside, yes you can get wrecked by a lot of things, but man... She is so fast, and so nimble, that you feel like you are playing a cruiser. Heck, I think some cruisers are more sluggish then Amagi. Bow on you are tanky, and you don't even need to be bow on, because your speed and overall agility lets you dodge most of the shells comming your way... And then there are the guns... 10 accurate big strong mofo guns. Same story as with Fuso. You don't want to see that 10 guns aimed your way, and if you saw them too late, I have a bad news for you Least favorite ship to face: (The ship you hate playing against the most) Zao - Do I even need to elaborate this Every salvo deals 5k damage, and 2 fires... If you are lucky... And most of the times you don't even see her, so you can't shoot the bugger back... Whole German BB line - Why did WG even do this... Every time I see some noob sailing full broadside to me in his German BB, I loose a bit of will to play... Why? Because I know that if he was sailing any other ship (yes, even a DD) he would get in 1-2 salvos. But not ze Germans. The most broken line in the game, with the most trolling damage numbers you can witness while playing. Full broadside will sometimes deal 30k to them, sometimes 3 k, and you have no idea why... I even tested shooting them in the training room, and the numbers you are getting by shooting at the same place are just mind boggling...

Here we go again...

TEACH ME HOW! Pretty much what I've been doing... Taking mostly F&C because SC have become horribly rare, but lately picking more of TYL since I haven't got one in ages, so I'm hoping I'll manage to push my luck...

From my (very limited) experience in clan battles, it just gives you too much information. You know from the get go which cap (A B C) is free, and where is their closest DD heading at. Yes, you want your CV to scout their whole fleet movement with his planes, but you know this from the start of the game, and can quickly change your plans accordingly to the info you get. You don't have to wait for CVs to dance around with planes to try and sneak them around somewhere to scout their fleet... You know exactly if the cap you are going for (I was playing DD) will be contested or not. You can plan accordingly, you can prepare yourself for fighting for the cap, or freely cap it and position your fleet to contest the next cap. You are a freaking torp / plane magnet (as a DD)... You can throw away all the dreams of sneaking past their fleet, getting into different position and torping them from the angle they don't expect torps to come. I mean, yea, its still possible, but highly unlikely, and as soon as you see "detected" popping on your screen, you know that weaving around everything capable of spotting you for past 3-4 mins just went down the drain...

My word of advice:Go check some higher tier DD stats, then you will answer your own question (and I don't mean this in the rude tone or whatever, since its hard to read the tone of the voice from the forums, I'm simply suggesting it because you will obviously get pretty surprised.)

He was in a Ranger against Kongo, 2 Bayerns and Scharnhorst. Kongo is lucky if she shoots down 1 of your planes, Bayern will shoot down 1 from each squad, Shiny is a bit trickier and with full hp (no AA lost) will decimate your planes if she has any AA specced. And playing as a strike USN carrier, and sniping enemy CV works wonders up to (and sometimes including) t7. Allready on t7, and especially t8 up, and especially in IJN CV you shouldn't get sniped ever... Yes, you can get reckless and punished, we all have bad days, but thats like 1/50 games, if you pay any attention and don't see his planes for first 1 min, you allready know you should use your planes to scout for his to stop the snipe attempt.

There is a fee you pay anyway. So if anyone is -lets call it not careful enough- to TK you, he should be the one that pays that fee. End of story. Last time I've got TK'd by Atagos torps while sailing my Fletcher. Yes I was low hp, but that means nothing on a stealthy DD... He didn't even turn pink, I didn't get any creds compensated, we lost the game since we lost our t9 DD that was defending caps and wrecking their BBs, and I've lost 100k creds or whatever. Much fair such wow.

Don't have her yet, I'm still at D.Donkey, but one question. Why didn't you use AFT for bigger AA range, since Moskva can get huge AA bubble, and be quite a pain in the butt for all carriers trying to strike anything close to her. (You have def AA that will panic all planes in huge area)
-
you won't have to pay for anything...

Bomb their BBs... Send one sqadron, set them on fire, wait for repair, send in 2nd and enjoy your 20k damage dealt on enemy BB. Use them to spot / bomb DDs...

Had so much fun that I went to play a goddamn Diablo 2 instead (yes, that 15 y old game...) But, did come back for a few more rounds, and all in all, it was a good day since I've got 3 witherers with 3 different ships (an achievement I don't get that often)
-
Best tip: try not to rage too much She is a good ship, but a one trick pony, and thats what I hated the most... If something removes you out of your comfort zone, all of a sudden you become a piece of garbage ship instead of impenetrable monster...
-
You don't get compensated which is utter and complete BS. Someone can simply TK you at the start of the game, and you will loose 200k creds (if in t10 ship) while getting nothing back. Completely broken system...

Look, other things were in the game before, and after an uproar of people, they were removed / changed. Wargaming decided that RPF will be in the game, but they will (at least they said so) look how influencial will it be, and how people will react to it, so they may remove it later on. ITS A FACT OF THE GAME. So DEAL with the FACT that people don't have to suck up every BS that someone throws at them.

How about taking out t10 BB with 1 DD shell?

Why should people have to "deal with it" when it comes to a product (game) that paying customers (gamers) aren't satisfied with? Why aren't they allowed to voice their dissatisfaction / concern to a company that is selling them product they don't like. In the end, why the heck wouldn't players say that something is bad for the game, even if that game is a complete free to play that some guy uploaded to internet from his basement, and there is 40 people in total playing it, let alone for MMO genre that is F2P, but a lot of people are spending a lot of money on that title.

Wanted to say pretty much this...It didn't effectively remove him from combat. It stopped her from completing her mission (even so, that overpenetrating shell did, not that torpedo), but she was still combat effective ship. In the end, if she was taken out of combat, they would send 1 ship to finish her off, not whole fleet to struggle with sinking her for next 2 days...

"I want my dragon flags" mission discrepancy
cro_pwr replied to Sjoggan's topic in General Discussion
Best part of it all is: (WAIT FOR IT!!) YOUR PROGRESS IS RESET EVERY DAY!!! Yup, imagine my face when I logged in today just to find out that all the XP I've earned yesterday has disappeared, and I have to grind 25k base xp IN A DAY. -
Many people aren't using it, so you still don't feel a full impact of it in most of the games (I'm always picking concealment before RPF, since I value concealment too much). But getting into one situation where you want to pop out behind an island and wreck someone, just to get informed you got detected by RPF, and you see them backing away instantly is enough to see how broken that skill actually is... (Happened to me while playing Des Moines, going full ninja mode to pop out behind the island and greet their Cruiser with my freedom AP salvo, and wreck their DD that was hanging together with said cruiser, when all of a sudden RPF kicks in and 2 of them start backing off...) And I've managed to hunt down few people due in DM due to RPF all of a sudden showing there is someone comming behind the island (usually DD or sneaky cruiser, that definitly don't want to meet DM up close and personal)

Can't really disagree on this one...
