Well, he is one of the better cruiser players on our server (too lazy to find all the top players, but he is probably somewhere there), so yea, there is that. And if one of the best players say that ship X is weaker or a lot harder to do well then ship Y, then I don't see how a new player will do anything good in ship X... He isn't talking about broadside. He is talking about getting citadeled trough the bow/stern/showing a sliver of broadside (angling). And DM suffers from that... One salvo you will bounce all shells, second salvo you will loose half HP and ask yourself what the heck did you do wrong. You have fantastic DPM, but only in short range combat. In long range combat, all of the cruisers will beat you 1v1 because of their better shell arcs / faster shells / better accuracy / whatever. Your bread and butter is brawling. Catching someone at 10km and murdering him. Isn't it strange the ship that should be brawler, has worse armor (only Minotaur is squishier then DM atm) then "snipers". Especially when you add that you don't have torps as rest of cruisers have (bar Moskva, but she is BB anyway ) . Currently the armor on cruisers is something like: Moskva Zao (troll armor) / Hindenburg (has a bit of turtleback) DM Minotaur.

Yea, she can tank Yamato shells and hit back as hard...One of the few ships in game I don't really like to meet on the opposite team (if played good), combined with Zao and probably Khaba. Those 3 can make your life a living hell if the person that sails them knows whats he doing.

Allready said it in another topic... This Ranked Season is quickly growing to be the most boring and the most broken one from all I've participated in, and I've participated in 4-5 of them IIRC. Its just NOT FUN. You play DD? OK, good luck doing anything but stealthfiring. You play CA? LOL! You play BB? enjoy getting focused by 4 smoke clouds... Every game feels the same, every game feels booooooooooooooooooring.

Or if you use your Belfast to shoot DDs when you radar them instead of shooting battleships while your radar is up.

This is starting to get the most boring/broken ranked season I've ever participated, and I've played like 10 games... I'm done for now...

They are strong, but they dont have smoke/hydro/radar combination that wins the caps and games...Ofc CVs are different story and good CV captain against bad CV captain will have a huge impact, but overall, Belfast are present in every freaking game, and have (when played good ofc) most impact on the outcome of the game on most of the maps...

I'd rather kill that DD, then rely on my braindead (sorry, but have been in too much situations like that) teammates to ignore that DD running in circles 5km away from them, and eating torps from him... And as we have allready discussed too many times, pure AS will never be able to completely save his fleet from enemy strike, and if only 1 strike goes trough, then non-AS carrier allready did more job then AS one did in his whole game. (talking about USN AS ofc, not IJN ones)

I've seen them quite a lot when they just came out. But as expected, most of the players that have her are playing t10 ships most of the time, so they don't bother with Flint too much (add the Flint on steroids aka Belfast is now available, so there is another reason not to play Flint that much).But giving them t9 ship? I don't see them leaving her to gather dust that soon...

OMFG are they insane? The amount of rewards was one of the few things that made me even think of grinding rankeds, and now they nerfed it so much, on top of making it t7 Jesus WG...
