Well, tl;dr: there's like 0 reasons not to put it there... WG GIEB NAU!

Fiji is even better
-
Not sure about Donskoi, but you don't need it on Moskva.
-
I would LOVE to see that, but... And the reason why I'm focused on the negative sides is simply because my experience tought me that if I'm not worried about what every ship in 15-20km radius can do to me, I'll have a bad time... So I feel its better to give people heads up on the bad sides, so they don't have to learn on their own mistakes, because you pretty much allready know all the good sides from playing Pensacola and up...(just add better ROF and thats it)

aaaaaaaaaaand lets put it this way. Today I've ended up against my clanmate 2 games in a row. Accidently. And later on, fought another one. Should we just leave all the games with our clanmates in them? Last game we were in division. 3 of us from the same clan. On the TS. We ended up in a team with 4th guy from our clan that noone even know is online xD And considering ranked, I think my clanmate took away like half of my HP, so yea, so much rigging...

If he wants to brawl with t10 cruiser at all times, with any cruiser he plays, thats his choice, but I hope he will be on the enemy team. Thats the main problem with brawling in high tiers (with cruisers). You spend half of your time searching for a good target to jump on, then you finally find him, engage him, turn your bow towards him, laughing your @ss of because you are bouncing all of his shells, and then you die. Why? Well, because while you were charging him bow on, angling towards him everyone in 20km radius said "Oh look, a free kill" and 50 AP shells landed in your citadel in next 30 seconds.

I've ended my Shchors with 76% WR and 60k avg damage after 76 games (with captain retraining and grinding from stock, since I didn't use free xp) and decided to keep her in my port. I loved that ship, since I had a bunch of 120k+ damage games in her. She can make all the enemy BBs pull their hair in despair and curse you in chat because of your fires First things first, I THINK (maybe I'm wrong) that she can stealthfire, but with some ~1km window, so its not that easy to pull off. Now, for the gameplay... You are a squishy paper ship with huge citadel but with great guns and great range. It literary feels like someone put great guns on a cardboard box. And you turn like a brick. (That makes you a cardboard brick which doesn't really makes sense, but yea... ) So, you have to learn how to use concealment / terrain and your huge range. That literary means, find yourself a nice island to park behind, so you stay undetected, and rain fire on everything in your range. Don't EVER get at some 13 km away from enemy BB thinking that you will wiggle and waggle your way out while happily spamming him. You won't. He will delete you from any possible angle because you are a floating citadel. But when staying 16km away from him, or behind the island, the tables quickly turn and you will burn him down with ease. And with Russian railguns, its easy to hit BBs from 16km, and other cruisers from 14-15 km, so you don't have problems with that. Heck, its quite easy to even hit DDs from 10-11 km... You are simply not a first line ship. Heck, most of the times you aren't even second line ship. You are the one that will stay at cover and snipe, or be in line with your BBs and snipe from there. Its all about positioning and raining down shells on everyone that enters your range, and then Shchors is amazing. Ofc, don't forget that you have quite capable AP so you can punish a lot of cruisers showing your broadside. But even if you don't, that ship starts so many fires that its not unusal to have 2 fires on cruisers at all times, then just dissengaging and letting them burn down. Frustrating as hell at times, because you simply cannot get yourself out of even half of a bad position, but really rewarding with good positioning / terrain abusment.

Just curious: how many of you finished the "Weekly Missions: Battle of Port Arthur - Stage V"?
cro_pwr replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
Didn't even try to finish it, but did play few high tier games without success. Even had 250k damage Yamato game, and didn't finish it -
YOU WILL RECEIVE PUNISHMENT FROM HEAVENS!!! *boom devastating strike* -another CV's are OP topic on forum... Btw. I've heard that Pope really likes cross drops You get it? CROSS drops! CROSS!!! Meh, I'll show myself out...
-
How often will you profit from it? Division with CV, and you will profit from it every game. Don't meet CV in game and you wasted 10% of your DPM... You will somehow manage... And why are we discussing? Because its disgusting to watch. And because this game can go completely fine without radar BBs, radar DDs and insane AA DDs, cause well, you know, balance... And its not really nice to see that you have some form of illness, and I fell sorry for you, hope you will get better if its possible, but I never asked for CV buff.

Few months ago there was a hickup with the servers where like 90% of people got dropped from the games, and there was a 1 lucky guy happily sailing around killing whole enemy team for free. Since its old game, I think it is exactly that problem. IIRC there was even some contest going on with max damage dealt in RN CL or something like that, and few results were discarded because of it. Otherwise, you have to play against the dumbest people to walk on this planet so they run into your 6km torps (or 8 whatever) 40 times in 1 battle...
-
Getting HE spammed in Yamato while properly using your repair/heal, you have 180k hp to work with. Aka the enemy team will have to burn trough 180 000 hp / deal 180 000 damage to sink you down with HE spam. But still, having one fire burning on you is scary
-
voted no because we really don't need more RNG in this game...
-
What the hell are you even talking about? To spec something like Zao into somewhat good AA cruiser, you have to switch out half of your skills and modules to buff your AA. To spec Grozovoi to have such an insane AA you have to sacrifice 0.5 sec reload on your main guns... Thats HUGE...
-
But strangers allready did some 61 plane kills in this one IIRC, so hes getting pretty close of breaking his record
-
meh, in my native language we adress ships as "him" and I'm still trying to force myself to call them "her" in english since thats how native English speakers are adressing them, so yea...
-
I am calling them the same level, and here you are explaining to me that every f***ing guy has fully AA specced Zao because thats just the way you spec the Zao nowadays. Whenever I see the Zao in the game, first thing I think of is god, look at this cruiser, having all the skill points, and all the modules put into her AA, because that is what this ship is really all about! Or not... So yea, your math is "a bit" off, but doesn't matter. I've got the point, you can spec Zao to have better AA then DD. Damn. Once again, if you think that destroyer that can drop down planes like flies, while being unspotted is fine, thats completely different story, but I don't... I simply don't think that at this point game needs something like this...
-
well, simply because that player has a choice of picking Des Moines and work his @ss off to pull out a good result, or pick a Moskva/Zao, have a relaxed game and do the same thing he did in DM without breaking a sweat. Thats the biggest difference. You know I love DM, you know I play him a lot, and I do good in her. I'm not a pro by all means, but I do better than avg people. And simply put, the amount of work I have to put into DM game to get into good position, not to get deleted by some random BB, to finally get into brawling range with other cruiser so I can win that fight (not because he is better player, but simply because hes ship is stronger at 15km then mine is) etc. is usually not worth it, because I can pick Yamato and do that amount of damage while eating with my other hand... DM is extremely good in some situations, and I love him, but sadly, its too situational (and soft)... And if you have to hide and do nothing except for waiting for a good opportunity for 80% of the battle, your DPM means nothing, since you aren't even using it, while Zao/Moskva won't stop shooting whole game long...

they added it few months ago, it wasn't present from the start, so you didn't miss too much. PS. people should start reading patch notes

well, that is basicly nothing. -
I'm quite drunk at the moment, so I'll try to refrain from posting anything meaningful to this topic because I will probably get a nice juicy ban if I write what I actually mean ATM.But please, I'm honestly begging you to stop writing this BS because its just ain't even funny anymore.
