add to that "someone who fails at everything, but tries to talk about gameplay balance", and you have his profile more or less completed...

Which forum members have you seen in random battles?
cro_pwr replied to Cobra6's topic in General Discussion
oh man, I went full retard that match... Literary too much things was happening at the same time on my screen, there were 2 Belfasts and Atlanta on your team spamming shells all around me, 2 of you were torping us, so in all that chaos I popped my smoke while going 21 knots instead of <20 and sailed out of it in the middle of open waters... I know it was one of those "it happens" moments, but I hate when I do a stupid thing like that, and can't really get over it so easily And you didn't only spot me, you striked the finishing blow! -

HIJMS Akagi - Premium Tier 6/8 Aircraft Carrier [Suggestion]
cro_pwr replied to Torpedobeatz's topic in Aircraft Carriers
If there is something Saipan proves, its that you should never even tought of putting t9 planes on t7 carrier. When you lock his fighters above t7 cruiser, and he still wins the fight because even t7 cruiser struggles to kill his planes, then you know something is wrong. -

they are more tactical then your usual "everyone rush for themselves" random battles. usually on same maps people tend to go to the same spots as a team, depending of their spawn, and using smoke/good positioning for your team is more important then in randoms. Also YOLOing is punished a lot harder, since you are in a smaller enviroment, on smaller maps, so there is a high chance that if you YOLO, all 7 of your enemies will focus you, while in randoms if you YOLO, 2 guys will target you, rest will be shooting at that 20km away cruiser... Its not the "Olympic games of WoWS" by any means, you can do well even if you aren't super unicorn, but you need to take your time, and evaluate your position. And ranked games are a bit slower paced then randoms, since loosing 1 ship means a lot more in smaller teams then in bigger ones, so its better to wait for enemy to make a mistake and take 1 of them out, then to rush head on and be that guy that made a mistake and let your team with -1 ship. tl;dr: definitly no need to skip them or to be nervous, especially if you enjoy a bit slower paced games.

Considering all the smoke meta, and cruisers sitting in their smoke, I've decided to rebuy my trusty Nagato... Fiji worked for me damage wise, but simply didn't win the games. Blyska was pretty much the same... Then I've spent 10 mil creds to gear up Nagato, and I don't feel sorry for it... And I've got it for one and only reason. Every time I see their cruiser sitting still or sailing broadside, and my BBs focusing their BBs, I raged too hard. Now, I'm playing my Nagato, patiently waiting for smoke to run out, half of people don't know to time their smoke, so I'm happily farming citadels/devastating strikes / high calibers... And scoring 20k salvos on enemy BBs isn't that bad as well

Yup. Just don't hug island like you would do in atlanta, but stay a bit away from it, and you are fine As long as you have any kind of obstacle inbetween you and enemy to obscure they view (even some REALLY small islands work wonders), you are fine.
-
pretty much yes.
-
nah, you get more damage returned then you are dealing. We fooled around with a pink clanmate few days ago. Few guys just rammed him on the start of the game, and he lost like 20k hp in Montana just from ramming.

140 games in few days, all in Atlanta to rush to R1... I'm not sure to congratulate you, or start questioning your sanity

Look, if you want to make fun of anyones attitude regarding CVs, first try with yourself. You are on a crusade against all CVs for a long time, and have no idea about the class, but you are disregarding every argument that people that are playing all the classes, and want to have balanced game because of your biased personal opinion. So yea, there is that...

You can be an awesome DD player, but the game concept requires you to be on the front lines, and since DDs are so unforgiving, one hickup and your gone...Everyone who played DDs know that, and every pro DD player will eat some random torp at some point / get surprised by radar at some point or something like that. You can always just shrug your shoulders and say, heck, things like that happen when playing DD, nothing new to see. But there is NO REASON IN HELL to reverse from spawn and shoot from 25 km away whole game long, and ofc everyone and their mother will be pissed about that players.

Nah, thats what people usually are mistaken about... Games don't last for 5 minutes so you need to RUSH B CYKA BLYAT!!! They last for 20 minutes. Ranked games are all about positioning (getting into a good position), focus fire and punishing other people mistakes (by focus firing them). And thats the concept people simply cannot grasp. Too many times you will see your team holding one cap, having 1-2 ship advantage and point lead, and then your guys pushing into their team and dying for no reason, loosing the game. When all they should do is get into best possible position they can, so they focus fire anyone that gets close. And too many times you will see a guy that is in a good position to defend the caps, but not to get focused by their whole team, being called noob, camper, whatever, because he is in *insert ship name here* and he isn't going all in to TRY to kill one guy on enemy team while suiciding...
-
Well, I've left my old captain in Chappy, since I like Chappy, and I kept her for ranked / competitive games (yay, rankeds are t7 -.-'), and put a new captain in Donskoi that will go into Moskva...Kutuzov and Chappy have great synergy between their captains, Kutuzov/Chappy with Moskva not so much...

As soon as you THINK someone could glance at you, you slow down to be at <20 knots, so as soon as someone glanced in your direction, you pop smoke and start hammering them from the smoke.Otherwise you use your concealment to get into a position where you will have 2-3 targets to shoot at, and choose the one that gives you the most broadside (usually, its works best if you are near the cap, shooting everything that comes close). As soon as your smoke is about to run out, you get back into concealment, and spend next 30-40 sec finding another position where you think you will be most useful from your smoke.
