Yup we also found that one + a link to his forum : https://wows.createaforum.com/general-discussion/ Funny thing about that forum, seems like it only has 2 members, one of whom with zero posts.

[PETITION & POLL] WG is planning to move "Arms Race" battles into normal gaming (possibly even in upcoming WoWs v0.11.4) - please do not do that !!!
lup3s replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
This I can fully support. If i want to play Arms Race, I don't want to end up in Standard Battle or Domination - and vice versa. -
Whoa it seems that ALL operations are returning!!

What was the one where you faced only KM ships and planes, and you had to escort a BB (French I think) across the map ? -
RNGesus help us all if every CV player becomes like you

Suggestion for a "ping detection" mechanic to make it easier to counter submarines that are continuously pinging a single target. I think the idea of a location marker (after the sub sends a ping) is a step in the right direction, but I also think this location marker should become more accurate for the targeted ship after uninterrupted pings (i.e. the submarine hasn't pinged another target inbetween). This could be achieved by making the location marker behave different for the targeted ship compared to its allies; i.e. the initial marker is the same for all (e.g. a circle on the minimap and water surface, 4km diameter or so), but with uninterrupted pings this circles shrinks, though only for the targeted ship (e.g. the circle shrinks by 0.5km with each consecutive ping, but only for the targeted ship - the circle stays the same size for its allies).

L. Tarigo, what's people experinces so far?

Iirc the torpedoes have 10k alpha, so what do you expect ? -
Funny and sad game situations shown with map screenshots.

little bit funny but mostly sad -
I am none of those though my karma keeps slowly increasing over time

Is it green stuff to drink or to smoke ?
-
Because Arms Race is like Randoms with extra gimmicks. Standard Battles, Domination, and Epicenter already show how "smart" the average player is; do you expect that to change in Arms Race ? If anything, I found this mode worse than others since, if your team doesn't bother with the buffs, you might as well just yolo-suicide and hope your next battle isn't Arms Race. (also; healing Subs and healing CVs ? Great idea )

It boosts the action time of the Smoke Screen consumable, not the dispersion time of the smoke screen itself. This skill (if used) fits best on DDs with crawling smoke consumable (e.g. Haida, Vampire II) or on DDs with an exhaust smoke consumable (e.g. ITA DDs).

From the frying pan into the fire

Hard to tell since i rarely detonate as i always* use anti-deto flags (*unless for some reason i hadn't equipped them). *e.g. I remember a Narai week this year where I accidentally clicked Randoms instead of Operations (so I had no anti-deto flag equipped) and my Scharnhorst detonated
-
I run deto flags on all my ships Also I'm still waiting for a proper reply on how someone can get hit by 8 skip bombs unless they're not trying to dodge at all.
-
I wouldn't bother with Grease the Gears or Consumables Expert for RN DDs. I'd pick Survivability Expert or Superintendent instead. Though tbh, RN DDs are the ones I have the least experience with

I liked the L. Tarigo - imo the poor gun range is often a strength instead of a weakness as it allows you to disengage almost instantly. Unless I got the attention of the enemy CV, I often had smokes left at the end of the match. The torpedoes are decent for the tier - good reload and range but lacking speed and damage. The speed and concealment are workable, often enemy DDs don't have the time to disengage without getting spotted. And it has SAP - basically premium HE . :edit: I liked the L. Tarigo, i think i will keep it to play as DD on T7 (so I have another DD to play in divs besides the Haida ). -
another good run (for me) in Raptor Rescue

Remove this reduculus feature with planes.[SOLUTION FOUND SEE POST 11]

Funny thing, I actually really like the different camo patterns on the planes -
close to my damage record in Raptor Rescue

If that was a single CV strike then little dodging was involved.
