Experiences differ; this evening I had Supershits in many of my games with Brest - not unusual in my experience (though not as bad as it was this evening); Superships have set me off playing most of my T9 ships, and made me play more T7 and T8 now.

1) you could go further and claim that (open water gunboat) DDs are even worse off than Cruisers ? I do get your point about Cruisers being nuked by big guns, but the same applies to DDs in my opinion (vs any guns with decent shell trajectory) 2) the screenshot I posted was from a Minotaur battle 3) I wonder, does it affect CVs' ordnance ? (dive bombs, rockets ...) 4) they get a better absolute dispersion buff but the same relative dispersion buff - again, I don't see why Cruisers are worse off than other ship types -

Good for you, so exactly how is your Hindenburg "truly an thoroughly frakked" ? Regarding the bolded part; yes, enemy ships will have better dispersion when shooting at your Cruiser, but the same applies to other ship types, so I don't really see why Cruisers would draw the shortest stick with these changes. -

Technically, turret traverse speed is a rotational speed (deg/s); so the Mino will have more (raw) increase when a 10% buff is applied. -

There's nothing else it could be imo. I usually don't bother with drama like this - it's a bunch of pixels after all - but it's funny* to see all these guys trying to be LWM's knight in shining armour *most of the time, sometimes it's just boring -

^ Basically this. It has been some time since I got a Witherer with my Ishi ... probably should give it a try again :edit: It's worth noting that T4 gets excluded from many combat missions. Also, T4 sees many double CV games and AA is nearly non-existent at that tier, Ishi is no exception. Though the Ishi is relatively fast compared to other T4 BBs so you may have a higher chance of dodging.

I think T9 and T10 don't have access to the range mod (ship upgrade); I did use the captain skill though I found it a tough choice between that and RPF. Like Verblonde mentioned, I also used Sansonetti to grind through the line to get the extra range from his talent. -

^ This - imo long-range gunboat DDs are (among) your primary targets. Took me some battles to realize the low firing range is more often than not a blessing in disguise; many times I didn't even need my smoke to disengage. And about the torpedoes, I disliked the low alpha damage more than the low speed (which I thought was okay tbh); otoh I did like the fast reload and long range of the torpedoes. -

Seems like I was mistaken about that ... always thought it also applied to "base concealment range" instead of firing range. Still, not something I'm picking since I had such a poor experience with it. -

I have this one on my Kamikaze/Fujin captain - it's like a permanent speedboost and allows you to go about 44kts/45kts with both combined (skill + consumable). I would take it on some other DDs if it I had the points to spare (usually taken by SI or a gun-focused skill). About Outnumbered, I tried it early after the rework but couldn't make it activate often - iirc I could count on one hand the amount of times it activated or was useful. :/ I do know some clanmates who used the skill in CBs last year (we haven't played this year). I prefer the 4pt skill that decreases reload time when an enemy is spotted within your base concealment range (I forgot the name atm - Top Grade Gunner I think ?); this skill is active nearly all the time on (most) of my Cruisers that have it equiped on their captain. :) Maybe I'm misreading something with Outnumbered, but if you have this one activated, you would always have the other skill (TGG?) active as well ? -
In my experience, slower torpedoes aren't necessarily worse, as they allow more manoeuvring of the target while still maintaining a chance to hit. e.g. if a target sails in an "S"-motion, fast torpedoes may miss if they pass before the first turn, while slow torpedoes may still hit after the second turn Sometimes I got torpedo hits with the Black when I already forgot I launched them (in a way of speaking)

For me it would be : DDs: Dazzle CA/CLs: Outnumbered BBs: Emergency Repair Specialist / Incoming Fire Alert / AA defense and ASW Expert / Super-Heavy AP Shells / Improved Repair Party Readiness / Focus Fire Training / Furious -
Because 2 players are bottom XP, the ship is underperforming ? Have you considered that maybe the players were underperforming ? Since with that line of thought, if you play enough battles, every ship will be underperforming. I think the Black is strong in Ranked - she's one of my most played ships in Ranked (35 battles) and she has among the highest winrates of my ranked ships (~82%).
