The MM is still mirrored, they just put bot CVs / Supershits / Subs on the "human team" as well. Why ? Idk. Bot CVs are kind of ok imo; bot Subs are simply trash. T11s ... ugh
-
Bot CVs, bot Supershits, bot Subs ... all there even with no player bringing them. YOU WILL LIKE THEM UNTIL MORALE IMPROVES.

I didn't mean that borderhumping being used as an offensive maneuver, but that the borderhumper itself can still return damage, albeit reduced. It's a comparable to your suggestion, but I would rather nerf the borderhumper than quadruple the damage of anyone shooting it (i also think the former should be easier to program than the latter, since one involves messing with one ship, and the other messing with possibly multiple ships). -

OT: why not apply a penalty to all armaments' reload, like the (current) penalty to the ship's manoeuvrability. e.g. 30% penalty on everything: - 30% longer reload on (main and secondary) guns - 30% longer reload on torpedoes - 30% damage nerf for AA (i.e. Dps*0.7 and Flak damage*0.7) - 30% speed nerf for planes (e.g. plane base speed is 200kts? It now goes 140kts) - 30% longer "restoration time" for planes This way borderhumping is punished more harshly, and the borderhumper with stil have (reduced) offensive capabilities. -

Winning is skill and losing being unlucky; I'll have to remember that -
Imo 2 playstyles, RPF DD hunter or MBAA damage farmer. One allows easier ambushing of enemy DDs, the other some more comfort when engaging bigger ships in open seas. Check the enemy team composition and think of ways that will kill you, and play accordingly; sometimes you'll be able to play very aggressive from the start, sometimes you'll have to play a bit more passive. You have no smoke so it's more difficult to disengage; try not to fall into a "smoke trap" (enemy DD is dark due to smoke but you are not), as this will cost you unnecessary HP. Save your MBRB for fights with DDs or CLs (AP broadside). You have the speed to relocate quickly, make use of that; very often I get to ambush enemy DDs since (I assume) they didn't think I could have moved there that fast. Don't underestimate your torpedoes; they are rather fast and pack a decent punch + they have very good launch angles.

McAfee is big sus :D I use this one : ESET NOD32 :)

He can't even see the squadrons are from two CVs, not one ; I don't think enlarging the mini-map would be useful for this individual. That or his tinfoil hat got so big it blocks his sight.

is it too far-fetched that you got this message because somewhere there's still a connection to a .ru site

Besides the smoke and radar, the OG Belfast has access to the 5th Ship Upgrade slot, so you can use the Concealment System Mod (making her among the stealthiest Cruisers at T7, if not the stealthiest). AND in the early days when she was released and "stealth fire" was still a thing, Belfast had a workable stealth fire range (~2-3km iirc ?), making her a total pain to deal with for bigger ships.

Gorizia (from the first PR dockyard). I enjoy playing this ship and it feels like she is often underestimated or her capabilities misjudged. Exhaust Smoke Generator + 6km Hydro + S(uperior)AP = DDs go poof My Roma behaves the same, often to my own surprise; we must have gotten a faulty one

12v12 Brawls are working great- what were you guys complaining about?
lup3s replied to TheNubination's topic in General Discussion
You are correct of course, though I think the term "Brawls" is probably not the most fitting one for this (BB only) gamemode. Iin the end I think BB only Brawls are not for me as I am usually (too) aggressive, since I actually want to brawl. -

We did. We went to the caps, got one, returned to a distance a few kms behind the cap and defended the cap from there. The enemy never bothered to get the cap so they lost. But I'm happy you found a mode where you have fun :) -
That's kind of personal ... did you feel personally attacked or addressed ?

Hah would even be more hilarious if the psychologist was the player with hidden stats - create your own market area for maximum profit

(With exception to new players or players with a handicap.) Players that are bad even after thousands of games, are just idiots imo. They don't improve either because they can't or don't want to := idiots.
-
I also came across something 3 times ... the holy trinity at work ?
-
If not idiots, what are they (bad players) ?

That's why they sail to the map borders from the start of the battle ... 12v12 BB brawls is definitely the "thinking man's mode" And a long range snipefest is just boring. It's named "Brawls", not "SnipeAtMaxRange". :edit: Though this is not a surprise; these players are exactly what I expect a BB-only "brawl" would attract - yet I do wonder what their excuse is for the spawncamping, as there are no CVs, HE spammers, DDs or Subs in this mode (the usual culprits for these "thinking" BB players). -
It's not what I hope for but it something I expect to happen - hence I get less annoyed when it does happen. What does sometimes annoy me is when I take out an AA ship (e.g. Groningen) and meet no CVs 3 games in a row, only to switch to my Mogador and then have a CV game. I wanted to point out that I think that stats don't (necessarily) were taken into account when a CV starts focusing you; I think that most of the time it's because you either were an easy target for the CV, or the CV just "tunnelvisioned" on you (e.g. the CV gets so obsessed with trying to sink you to the point that its squadrons fly over allied ships just to try and get a hit).

Don't forget that a division is a force multiplier; (generally) good players have a higher WR in division than solo, while often bad players have a lower WR in division than solo. you could call the latter a potato multiplier
