  2. I think T5 Cruisers are like higher tier gunboat DDs: Help your "real" DDs. Farm damage without trading too much HP. In general, be a nuisance to the enemy team. You can't expect something / someone to perform a task well without the proper tools (e.g. radar).

    The saddest / biggest frustration is when you get a random Operation with a 4- or 5-player division and they are completely clueless / trash > having a Bismarck, Brandenburg AND Massa in division but they're sailing BEHIND the transport ships in Narai - so the Missouri can ram a couple of them.   4. I have difficulty figuring out your PoV; if DDs can roam unchecked (no radar and mostly mediocre hydros), shouldn't they be the threat to BBs ?
  5. I'm curious what causes this; "fear to fail" (I don't know the correct term) or just the (perceived) complexity of the game ?

    It's a combination of things; - the BBs are now Nagatos instead of Fusos. Many Cruisers can tank 356mm AP, but not 410mm AP. - the Cruisers are now all CAs: Myoukou, Mogami, Ibuki ... 203mm IJN HE hurts like a truck (compared to 140mm HE of the Kumas) Not only are you set on fire every second salvo, you also take the raw HE damage. - the DDs were changed from Shiras to Kitas ... the raw (gun) dpm of the Kita is something to fear. So, combined (bar some exceptions) : You can't tank BB AP anymore; CAs not only set you on fire but deal a lot of raw damage as well; DDs melt you if they're not taken out quickly. Thus you need to be able to take them out quicker than before, but the "crossing the T"-route is terrible for that.

    I think they just don't care ... yesterday I had 2 times where an allied player sailed around the sunken Shchors (in Aegis) to pick up the captain. That player had to actively manoeuver to NOT sail in that area. Ergo, people don't care about winning or don't want to win.

    Or maybe the players should try to not play like [edited]cowards every time. So many of them (DDs, CA/CLs, BBs) seem to think "crossing the T" is the way to win / do damage. If more players would take the flanking route, so you can shoot broadsides and sink them faster, Aegis wouldn't be that difficult. But then again, this requires some extra brain activity and it seems like most players can't or won't do that.

  10. That replay was so painful to watch I stopped after couple of minutes. Over 3k games in a single ship and still seems clueless how to play it ... HOW ????

    The sad truth is that too many players don't seem to care about winning / completing the Operation. They don't seem to care or know about their own ship's strengths and weaknesses, nor about other players' ships' strengths and weaknesses. HAHA BIG GUNS GO BOOOOM or HAHA TINY GUNS GO BRRRRRRT The average player is just trash, simple as that. They can't aim, they can't angle, they can't survive, they can't read the minimap nor the flow of battle ... but a better ship will surely fix that ! That's why you so see many apes in Superturds.
  12. Sadly this won't matter much ... e.g. in many Ops the "priority targets" are marked / highlighted and still players shoot other ships first

    While it still can be a citadel farming simulator, it's not that easy anymore - used to be that you faced Kumas / Furutakas / Aobas, now it's Myogis / Mogamis / Ibukis - and those 203mm IJN HE shells hurt like a m****** Also doens't help that most players seem to have no clue what to do, or seem to now know where to position their ships ... but eh that's the average Wows player for you.

    T9 had some of my favourite ships to play ... though nowadays I barely play them anymore (or Randoms at all). I thought T11s were supposed to be relatively rare, as they were supposed to be expensive to run; sadly this is not the case, as Randoms is infested with these things. Not only because they are broken af (and the economy isn't that bad from what I can tell), but on top of that WG gives away goodies left and right for playing these Supershits - so how exactly are there supposed to be a low amount of Supershits in queue / battles ? "Superships are broken but you won't see too many of them" > takes away daily missions but keeps missions for Supershits

    With the term "repair ship" I was thinking of those like in Newport Defense, that go repair the harbour defenses I haven't noticed any ridiculous pathing of the bots (yet)

    Afaik there is no repair ship in Narai ... unless you mean the lead transport ship ?
