Soms ships are stronger in certain Ops than others - with the current "random Operation"-mechanic, you don't know which Operation you'll get so I don't think there's something as "players picking wrong ships".

That's sad just like a Killer Whale game I just had, where 2 of the BBs were dead before the first ships in the harbour were sunk -

This is a mindset I have difficulty to understand; why "win slower" ? Just get it done and move on to the next game ? What's the point in farming more damage if the goal is to win the battle, not farm the most damage ? -

I can agree CLs have it tough in T5 Ranked but I don't think that DDs and BBs are broken in T5 Ranked. I'm not sure why you think that the Derfflinger seems OP/broken, I can think of a couple BBs that are (a lot) stronger. -

There's a difference between not understanding mechanics because you're new and not wanting / caring to improve in the game you're playing. I think the former is rather trivial, not many players can excel in a game they just started playing (bar some exceptions of course). The latter not so much though, I can't understand what's fun about playing a game you suck at AND not wanting / trying to improve yourself. -

Probably the alt-tabbing has something to do with it ? If you do it too frequently or too long, i think the game assumes you're inactive (which, imo is not entirely wrong). In the end, unless you're running multi-screen set-up, you can't be active in the battle while alt-tabbed. -

One issue is the scaling : - Nagato 410mm vs Fuso 356mm - IJN 203mm HE vs (mostly) IJN 140mm HE - Kitakaze vs Shiratsuyu Another issue is the players : With a division, I find most Operations to be rather easy. With random players, I find most Operations to be a coin toss; either the players don't know how to play the Operation, or they don't know how to play the game (at all). Operations like Aegis and Newport Defense require the team to keep the damage output up so the enemy bots can be dealt with in time - sadly it seems that many players seem to think the best way to deal the most damage in a short time is "crossing the T" or hiding behind an island It also doesn't help that some Ops like Aegis require focus fire - it's funny to see half your team dead with the second wave on Aegis while the majority of the first wave is still alive on half health. At the moment, when I play Ops solo (or just in a division of 2) and I get Aegis, I assume it's already lost. Tfw Hermes feels easier than Aegis -

I have looked at the proposal - though I can't understand much of it as my knowledge of Spanish is limited - and I thought it looked very well done. Still it's easier to just copy-paste existing models than creating new ones - even if the latter would "fit better" in the game (I can't tell since I don't know anything about South-American navies). -

A similar issue is when you're the BB player and tanking for your team, but none of them are trying to get angles or even help you out. Imo a major issue with the first and second wave in Aegis, is that many players can't shoot them or can't damage them enough due to their positioning; too many times i see 3-4 players take this route in Aegis (yellow arrow) : - they can't shoot the first wave for some time - they can't shoot the second wave until they reach the 6-line - they can't shoot broadside from that position -

Had one yesterday (in Kaga) where 3 out of 5 enemy escort ships made it to the J-line ... because I was the only one left alive to attack them (and I still had to deal with ships from the first and second wave ) We even had the Yamato and 2 other BBs spawn -

The first problem with Aegis, as I stated earlier : - the BBs are Nagatos instead of Fusos; many Cruisers can bounce 356mm AP but not 410mm AP - the CAs are Myokos, Mogamis and Ibukis instead of Kumas, Furutakas and Aobas; tougher to kill and much harder hitting (IJN 203mm HE hits like a truck) - the DDs are Akizukis and Kitakazes, instead of Fubukis and Shiratsuyus; these have better torpedo power (don't have to wait to reload since they have TRB) and they have LOT more firepower (most ships just melt when focused by 2 Kitakazes ...) The second problem with Aegis (and other Ops in general), is that the average Wows player is just crap. They can't read the minimap or mission objectives, and they can't prioritize targets. With randoms, Aegis is nearly guaranteed suffering; with a div on voice comm, it's the same race for damage as it used to be
