    lmao so because T7s had to "suffer" T9s (not my experience anyway), T9s have to "suffer more", with Supershits ? yes, T9s are stronger than T7s, but imo the difference between T9s and Supershits is bigger (most are a straight-up buff with retard proof armour and that dumb F-you button) I already disliked the boring TX camper meta ... addition of these Supershits basically killed (high tier) Random Battles for me; can't wait for WG to add T9 to Operations.

    IJN CLs..IFHE or NOT IFHE?

    My guess would be that at T8 the increased pen is worth more + you don't really need Superintendent on a Mogami, sparing some points for IFHE. :edit: Also, if I'm not mistaken, the new IJN CL line has 150mm guns on T8 and above; not sure if that 1mm difference in HE pen makes a difference though.

    By separating players based on win rate, wouldn't nearly everyone's win rate end up converging to 50% ? Or is that what you want ?

    Why would you ever want skill-based matchmaking for Random Battles ... the better you play the worse your team gets so you're basically punishing yourself by playing well

    Ok. I thought MM first tries to match all tiers in the teams, before doing some wonky stuff. i.e. if you can get your div T8 mirrored with a solo T8, you can get TX at most

    don't worry, I've stopped playing Randoms (mostly) - the best way to avoid Supershits regardless, playing 998 div is still a good way to avoid Supershits

    it already works in Randoms ... T6 can't meet T9 there (unless fail divs are involved)

    if you play in divs you can use a T8 as div anchor to (try to) avoid Supershits we tried this one evening about a month ago - 11 battles : - 7 battles with full T9 div, 6 battles had Supershits in them, 4 battles had 4 or more Supershits in them this annoyed us so much we decided to fail div - 4 battles with 2x T9 and 1x T8 division, all were TX games but no Supershits so i see that as a victory

    Ok .. i can get over 30 fires in an Operation without the signal flag Anyway, OT, just had another Aegis where the second wave turned in too soon and sunk one of the transports

    waste of signal flags imo also what is a "donation" flag ? don't tell me you're using detonation flags in a game mode where you can't detonate ?

    - players being cowards - players sailing the 6-line (since when is that ever a good strategy ???) - players being cowards - players not knowing to prioritize targets (e.g. Kitakaze > Nagato) - players being cowards - players thinking some ship types can't have any influence (e.g. DDs or CVs) because they can't make them work - players being cowards i think that covered it all oh wait - players. being. cowards.

    Nearly every Aegis this evening had one or more ships of the second wave turn in too early (towards the middle of the map). Often this resulted in their secondaries already damaging the transport ships. Still most ended in a victory.

    imo most of the time i found going in gun blazing wasn't the best approach; usually the Sub dives anyway so having fired your guns just keeps you spotted by other ships more often than not the Sub dives and i can go undetected, free to drop DCs on that little ocean turd
