Most important is the Dogfighting Expert skill though.

This is the most important part imo.

Elimination thread 3: Tier VII *Winner!*
lup3s replied to DDMafiaAssociateMember's topic in General Discussion
Hiryu with 5-fighter squadrons and Dogfighting Expert can take on the 4-fighter squadrons of the Saipan. I've experienced it (multiple) times myself; if both get in the fight without strafing or nearby AA cover, the Hiryu's fighters can destroy the Saipan's fighters.- 452 replies

Question to DD players: Are you "good little soldiers"?
lup3s replied to Deckeru_Maiku's topic in General Discussion
Better this way than if they're calling out a cap on the other side of the map. e.g. Map North, a division with 2 BBs and 1 DD spawned south of the A cap (most western cap); in chat they said "we're going to cap D". At this point I knew, this game will be a defeat. It actually took them about ~8 minutes to reach the D cap and once there, they were sunk within minutes by an enemy DD. -
That's another skill you're talking about. The PT skill just shows how many players are aiming at you (which can be useful sometimes). In cruisers without fighter planes I use this skill.
-
Which, as far as I know, doesn't give any xp at all. Had a game once in my Yugumo with ~250k spotting damage, but the base xp I got was abysmal (~600xp on a win). Sneaking into a cap? No longer possible with RPF. Sneaking around? No longer possible with RPF.

I should've been more precise; I meant sailing in an IJN DD.

Then don't rely only on in-game information but also have a look at the website of World of Warships (or Announcements at the forum). If I'm not mistaken, in-game it didn't state whether the 19th was included or not. So if you wanted to know the exact date and time this campaign would end, you should have searched the website or the forum. WG didn't make a mistake, you did. You wrongly assumed that the 19th was included; you would have known it wasn't if you would have searched or read any announcements made about the Graf Spee campaign. You don't have to; but then you shouldn't whine about "Feeling screwed over" if you don't want to search or read information on the website or forum of World of Warships. The website includes useful information such as patch notes, upcoming events (and their start- and end-dates), campaigns, missions, etc.

Sailing in a DD, if I get 'Located', I will stop doing what I'm doing and just run away. I hate this 'no-skill'. It adds nothing fun or competitive to the game, only frustration.

Almost there, just the KM part left to complete! (and the final mission)

South: A&B North: B&C I don't know why players from the south spawn would prefer going C. It's the furthest cap from your spawn and you have no cover or way to retreat. Usually it's a potato death trap (same applies to A for players from the north spawn). Unless the enemy team at the north is also that stupid to sail towards A and not support their DD(s) at C; but at the start of the battle you can't know this and you can't wait for sufficient information to make a decision. Fast-cap A (south) or C (north) is key for this map in my opinion. And please don't be the guy to go around the outer islands (especially Battleships). You don't have the speed for it and you'll isolate yourself from the battle far too long.

Second Solo Warrior achievement! Nice game with some allied DDs providing smoke cover when I needed it. Shout out to the Gremy player! Good Saipan game but still a defeat. More XP earned than the first player on the enemy team. Only one on my team to get kills. -
Ah I'm sorry, I misunderstood. You're right of course. I also like it a lot on the Belfast. I don't know about the Atlanta yet. I might also take it on some mid tier DDs but I'm not sure.

Priority Target sometimes has a real scary "ooow shiiiiit gtfo!" effect. But it saved my life in this case.

I don't think you want to know the translation, it's just insult after insult after insult (and very childish ones if I may say so). What did you do to him to make him so angry?
-
I think you mean -1% (without flags)? IFHE gives -3% fire chance, DE gives +2% fire chance, and the 2 fire flags combined give +1% fire chance for 152mm guns.

69 plane kills with the Saipan My first battle in the Fiji, I think I like it! Couldn't carry hard enough though... Troll division (triple Belfast). It was a hard-fought battle though... At one point in the battle our team just evaporated, but nothing three Belfasts couldn't handle. :edit: Running PT can be scary at times. -
What do you think about limited ammo and the gameplay coming with that?

Isn't it kind of hypocrite to comment on the toxicity of the community, only to then be toxic himself? :edit: Reading through YT comments... ...so many internet tough boys. and one person in particular has some serious mental health issues, wtf -
Smoke screen expert on British cruisers yes or no?

Like I said, opinions / experience may differ. The battles I played with it, I didn't feel like I needed it. -
RPF / RDF / RADIO LOCATION: The Ultimate Petition To The Devs
lup3s replied to t3h3th32's topic in General Discussion
I hate this "skill". (imo it's more of a no-skill than anything else) It kills gameplay and games in general. Multiple times I've seen DD players that were located by RPF at the start of the battle either retreat until they're no longer located, or just rush forward and die because they want this stupid battle with this stupid "skill" to be over as soon as possible. The retreating part also applies to BBs and CA/CLs. The gameplay was already (too) campy and RPF enforces it even more. Also, the only way to effectively counter this "skill" is by picking it yourself. Seems right. It's crap and should be dealt with. -
Smoke screen expert on British cruisers yes or no?
lup3s replied to SovietFury43's topic in General Discussion
I don't need the larger smoke to survive. And it doesn't help anyway if the enemy decides to put torpedoes into the smoke (because it's not that much bigger). In my opinion / experience the Smoke Screen Expert skill is not that useful. Yours can differ of course. Combine Jack with the signal flag and you get -10% on all consumables (including hydro, repair, heal, smoke). Or maybe Adrenaline Rush. Or maybe something else; but I certainly won't pick Smoke Screen Expert on my Belfast captain. Maybe with the 18th and 19th point on my normal RN captain, but I don't think I will. -

In my opinion, don't use it. There are better skills to use (e.g. Jack of all trades). -

My NC captain (16 points): http://shipcomrade.com/captcalc/00001000001000000000010000001001 Once I get my 17th point, I'll get BoS (or maybe BFT.. not sure yet). With the last 2 points I'll probably get High Alert or Jack of all Trades, because there's nothing better to take with 2 points. (Adrenaline Rush is not worth it in my opinion). In the KM BB tree I'm not at the Bismarck yet. (currently at the Gneisenau) But my Bismarck captain would be like this: http://shipcomrade.com/captcalc/00001000011000000000110010001000 BFT and Jack are last to pick (in that order).
