    I got 2 torp hits with Duca torps (twice 1 hit) .. at almost max range (Myogi & Myoko). And I launched them without lead indicator as the ships were (at the moment of launching) not spotted. Great evasion skills; great hacks or cheats or w/e you think the bots have. (Fyi Duca torps go 51kts so probably among the slowest in the game)

    Playing USN T9-T10 CAs for the Halsey campaign. At the end of the night I was getting bored with it so I decided to push my Des Moines to the limits. "Cyka blyat - rush B" Turned out rather okay. Battle with @BeauNidl3; this is what happens if you sail your Des Moines overly aggressive in the middle of Okinawa (but it did scare off their entire team as they all bailed the B and C cap). C-C-C-C-Combo breaker

    There are probably multiple players that do this, but I think I met this one in a couple of battles as well. Also there should be some way to ban bot accounts .. last night had a Tirpirtz player with highest silver ship T4 and a few dozen premium ships. He (or the bot program) sat in spawn during the first half of the battle, and sailed to the A in the second half, while the 3 remaining enemy ships were in the C cap (other side of the map). Dude had ~3k battles, ~37% wr and ~10k avg dmg .. One thing I wonder is, if it is indeed a bot, why spend so much money on this game? (Tirpitz + Alabama + Kii alone cost well over €100)

    Sims is the best for fleet support (smoke + Def AA). Leningrad best for solo play (speed, guns, concealment, torps). Blyska as well but lacks those 2 extra torps to be on par with Lenin (imo). I have the Z-39 but haven't played it yet; seems like the best cap contester.

    Imo it's a good thing they changed the USN CV loadouts. AS was just stupid, Strike or stock were superior. I played nearly all my Ranger battles as Strike, only at the end (since I was close to unlocking the Lexi), I tried the AS loadout for a handful of battles, and lost all of them. There's no point dominating the skies if you lack the ability to strike and depend on your team to deal damage / win the battle for you. Imo it's good as it is now - perhaps an alternate loadout such as 2-1-1 could be viable (but 2-0-2 was nearly useless).

    I like about the T10 DDs that each had its pros and cons, and I think they are quite balanced (compared to each other). Will have to see about the upcoming armour changes on DDs and what effect(s) it will have in DD vs DD gunfights. (e.g. first thing that comes to mind is if the Z-52's AP will still be as good as it is now vs other DDs)

    That statement is probably based solely on the gun caliber, not taking into account the amount of guns, shell arcs, and "accuracy" upgrade.

    Don't know about strafes but clickfights' RNG should be removed or tweakened (although with the upcoming CV rework this will probably not be needed anymore). Last night I clicked a 3-fighter GZ squad with my 5-fighter Enterprise squad and lost the entire squadron while only shooting down 1 fighter. (And no, no enemy ship was close enough to provide AA support. And I know this doesn't happen often but it's still ridiculous and quite frustrating).

    Everything you wrote in the OP says more about the players than the Op, really. The only "challenging" part is the halfway point where 2 DDs and a Kuma spawn, and try to torp-rush the Raptor.

    Each his choice ofcourse I have this captain dedicated to the Cleveland, hence the IFHE and AR. Don't really find myself losing engine or rudder a lot .. BFT isn't really needed on both (AA is already strong as it is) + the reload on the Atlanta is fast enough. I could be mistaken, but I think IFHE is needed on the Atlanta if you want to pen the bow / stern of CA/CLs and the superstructure of BBs. At least in my experience I find myself getting more pens against angled CA/CLs and BBs. I have a second (troll-build) 16pt captain who I use with both Atlanta and Kidd, this one has PM + AR & LS + BFT + AFT & Man AA Not sure yet if I should pick SE or SI with the last 3 points once the captain reaches 19.
