  1. Some of these guys are unicums because they've refined play down to microsecond reaction times and moving a finger up and down again takes time!
  2. And a 'hedgehog' is a anti submarine mortar launcher used in WW2. I think it's clearly all submarine related especially with the drawing of the lobster. If the single squares in the 'warships' games are subs it matches how WG have envisaged subs being used in the game, lurking around the edges looking for opportunities.
  3. It's through the window, if you look you can see across the road and right into Dasha's apartment. She'll be home later.....

    WOWS 4th birthday bonus code

I got them from watching Flamu but amazingly all were accepted, it's like a proper birthday party!

    I just drew a game

I've had a few Draws, usually either two DD's sailing around trying to find each other, or two CV's placed at either end of the map.

Tier 4 CV sealclubbing has to STOP!

There is no experience, tier, or ship type in WoWs that says you are entitled to win. If losing is a big problem don't play.
  7. Of course the irony is that at any other time players would be complaining about battles lasting just five minutes before an enforced break, but if you can't hold your bladder or do without a burger or beer for fifteen minutes you've got bigger problems. So the only way to play WoWs is to pre-load ideally on whisky or other spirits so your bladder isn't full of gassy beer, and a traditional Sunday lunch as sustenance, that way if you lose a battle you won't care because you'll have fallen asleep in spawn.

Yes, the players with a high WR create the players with a low WR so they should just suck it up and stop complaining.

    New Ship Line

MTB's as far as I'm aware didn't carry long range torpedoes which would mean even the worst secondaries in the game could shoot them up before coming into torp range. The other consideration would be they didn't carry extra torpedoes, so once you've fired your main salvo there is no reload.

You know how it will play out in the long term when you get on that slippery slope, before long it will be 'no more idiots with less than 56% WR', of which there are many examples throughout human history. Besides which some of those you want to ban from playing a game mode will pay as much or more than you, so is it your pocket their refund on Premium time and not being able to use their Premium ships is going to come from?

    Love Zao

I love the Zao, pretty vice free in the scheme of things and setting fire to other ships never gets boring.

Like many people replying to this thread you are supposing a player has some Karma points to begin with. If they are bad players or even toxic in chat they won't have any Karma to notice your report, they have nothing to lose and so nothing to gain from your pointless report. So, not like school at all.

You still haven't said how people learn anything from being reported? What exactly are you telling them in plain language? They can just fob you off as a troll reporting them, they may think they played great, your reports are meaningless to the vast majority of players who receive them. OK they played badly, how did they play badly (from your point of view), they probably don't know and you can't tell them so stop pretending you can. That is the hilarity in this thread, the imaginary thought transference that happens when you press the 'Played poorly' button, yeah, they understood the exact point of that rebuke didn't they, lol

You are a shining example to the community, unfortunately if you've read through this thread you'd realise you are a rare example because other players use it to troll and annoy and to just be spiteful.

Yes, the developers could remove the whole Karma system, it's a good idea, but in the meantime if you give a monkey a stick he'll inevitably beat another monkey with it. Or maybe it's time to evolve?

You will be able to explain then what lesson another player learns from getting a report? Where in the report can you possibly tell them what it is they did wrong? No, you can't can you? So it's a fiction to pretend you are telling somebody about what they did that you didn't like, you can only intimate there was 'something' you didn't like. Which is why the idea of lessons and learning things through reports is just an excuse for better players to weaponise Karma and treat it as summary justice, no discussion, no comeback, no lesson learnt. This is why this thread is infested with self righteousness, people really do imagine they are explaining to people what they did wrong by habitually using the reporting system.

When I first started playing WoWs the overall feedback from the community was that it was way more civilised than WoT and that you'd be treated fairly aside from the obvious trolls. But from this thread, and what I've witnessed in chat, it is obvious the insidious nature of WoT runs deep but is absorbed by the Karma system, and the fundamental instincts of some special players to degrade and humiliate other players is still rife. So you want to talk about 'sensitivity', well by what parameters are you going to decree what is being too sensitive? By your own parameters, have you invented a self created 'rule' for when you can abuse other players with a report? It is common for people with no comprehension of empathy to decree anybody else is 'sensitive' as it suits them. So where are you on this, you get a gut feeling about reporting anybody that doesn't meet your requirements in a battle, or is it scientific and you have a formula to express your empathy?

Alongside power comes responsibility. If you can't moderate your inclinations for reporting players who aren't conforming to your plan maybe playing team games isn't for you? Being frustrated with other people's actions is perfectly normal. But when you know before every battle that you'll have players in your team well below your own skill level (probably most of them) surely you have to adjust your expectations because nine times out of ten they won't deserve being reported because they simply aren't as skillful and never will be despite your nagging and reporting.

    Excessive Criticism

Let us remember, I started out from the position of talking about the miserable bastards reporting players when the team has won. I haven't deviated from that line despite you trying to turn my words the other way. In typical and unexceptional battles players who are dead already, or planning future 'revenge', turn into jumped up overseers pontificating in chat about who should be reported. It could be argued that the trolls you mention don't have much influence overall since you've won the battle anyway so I don't know why you decide to mention it, but yes actual trolls can fairly be reported. But there are some banal and inconsequential things that get people reported and which can look very different if a player is doing their best and they still get an anonymous report going in against them. Look at some of the responses we've had so far, good players taking it on as their duty or their own jihad to report people and for far lesser offences than trolling. They create their own rules for reporting outside of the game rules, and the game rules do allow for players of all levels of skill to take part together on a team, NOT for lesser skilled players to take part and then get reported by default because they are looked down on. The people in this conversation imagine in their own minds it is teaching somebody a lesson, but how do they learn the lesson when a player may already be playing at their skill cap? You ask 'now why is that' as if I have an agenda, or as if I'm being a apologist for trolls, well no, my agenda is why can't players just be nice when they've won the battle? A 40% player may have been playing harder than a 60% player. They may have died in the battle playing the best game they ever played, or the enemy may have been exceptionally lucky, or the enemy may have been exceptionally talented, either way there is no way for the jumped up Admiral boss man to know this, but this guy has his own rules to follow about who gets reported. So give me a break, I know these talented players are creating a self-imposed authority to dispense justice, they've said it in this thread, but they are lacking the human skills to just win the battle and let it go. An alternative could be to use the carrot and stick approach and try being nice if they want to teach people a lesson, now there's a thought. Of course they'd only do this bullying by reporting on the internet where they can get away cheaply with telling other people what to do, so what does that say about them? But irrespective of that regularly criticising and reporting people (not trolls remember) in your winning team must be the lowest and most spiteful response it's possible to make.

You seem to think toxicity in the game is only a one way trip, you can give 'reports' of players because they didn't conform to your requirements in a winning battle, but toxicity is only something somebody else does. This is truly what the game has become, an entitled elite, not even all unicums, who deliver the law without seeing the irony of what they say, it's a bit sinister if you ask me.

So you've decided players shouldn't 'play for fun', who appointed you to arbitrate?

I find it hard to understand why you want to defend that as something you do to others never mind what they do to you. Don't you realise you make the report function of the game worthless and of no value? Reporting for minor unjustifiable things is just 'handbags at dawn', nobody ends up looking good and it does nothing for the integrity of the game or reporting system. It's crying wolf, somebody has a bad game, you don't know why, but you set yourself up as either the great overseeing God or a jealous or mean spirited individual who was on the team but not part of the team. It's time to decide if this is a team game and you stand by the team or you are criticising anybody that isn't you.

Well I don't blame you for not rehashing the whole thing. But beware 'alternative facts' in future, just because somebody says something it doesn't always represent the truth, and neither does pressing the report button because you have a God Complex.
