    Removal or another fundamental rework, the current implementation just can't be fixed. The problem is that under RTS there was direct CV v CV combat, so it was okay if CV couldn't strike because there were other things they could do such as spotting, tactical maneouvers and denying the enemy CV's ability to strike, with new CV strike is the only thing you can do and thus if you can't do that it becomes essentially a non-game. Thus any kind of counterplay to CV that can reliably stop all strikes would make CV unplayable, but the absence of counterplay makes the game unsatisfactory for surface ships.

  4. Game balance is nowadays mostly like chimps throwning at the wall, some of it sticks but no-one knows why and there sure as hell is no guiding intelligence behind it.

    In the last 24 hours you've demonstrated that: you do not understand armour and penetration mechanics; you do not understand what deep water torpedoes do; so the idea that there's stuff that you've figured out that somehow eludes the rest of us is frankly laughable.

  10. HE armour penetration rules, IFHE effects and armour levels for T8 ships, this is pretty basic stuff, yes it matters a great deal.
  11. Surely it's a net negative, if experienced invested players are walking and you're replacing them with noobs who might hang around for a month or so, how is that stable?

    Dear god, half those DD weren't even running last stand! Edit: Well, maybe not half, but definitely the Z23 and there were one or two others I wasn't sure about.

    But you could minimize it and zoom in harder (might affect quality of the image though).

    Some kind of streaming output, maybe to a custom server only you can access, simaltaneously replay it on the other screen then focus in on the minimap, somebody more technical than me might be able to explain better (or have a better idea to start with). OBS Studio is free, is it worth the effort, probably not unless you just want to play with the software.

    Basic problem is that not everything is a smolensk or harugumo so whilst the OP might think this is fair for those 2 what about ships with usn 127/38 guns or at lower tiers? Global mechanic changes to deal with one or two ships are not a good idea.
  18. HE blast area is big enough with BB guns provided that the sub is spotted, what 203mm cruisers are supposed to do is something else entirely.

    So, if I'm reading this right, the team gets more cap points if there's two ships in the cap, but those points get split between the ships, so if one ship keeps getting reset then the overall cap takes longer. I wonder what happens if you have say 6 ships in a cap and 5 of them keep getting reset.

    For me the late game strength of CV makes it much worse, under RTS in the late game the odds were that a CV would be short on reserves and would have a hard time striking anything, with the reeeeeeeework it's full strength CV against crippled ships....................... fun indeed.

    I have some bad news for you: If you’re ready to get two Premium boosters: The first Directive should be completed within 5 days of opening. Directives 2–3 should be completed within 6 days of the completion of each previous one. The fourth Directive should be completed within 12 days of the completion of the third. Finish the first 13 Daily Missions and collect all the rewards from Daily Shipments. In order to get the most out of boosters, spend your Tokens as soon as possible. https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/general-news/dockyard/ And some more bad news, directive 4 is a lot more grindy, you can't use Gorizia to speed it up and it may be too late to buy the 3rd booster for it to have an effect (not confirmed). 9,300,000 damage; 950,000 XP 27,000 BASE XP in 4 different lines. Happy grinding.

    Jingles has a video up, much the same feedback as Flamu. Here's a question that maybe one of the WG staff can answer, if you want feedback why have you given out so few invites and what use is feedback from games that are 80% populated by bots?

    The problem here is that most of the historically interesting ships have been in the game for some time now and are being powercrept by Russian fantasy BB or super-cruiser "designs" so the actual history is being sidelined.
