It's the game that WG have created, one that seeks to minimise skill and rewards players who are prepared to pay to progress to T10 even if their skill level is better suited to T4; in this regard we can hardly blame them for doing exactly what WG wants them to do.

You forgot about the 3 very good players I mentioned who are not talking about CB. The problems that CV bring to CB apply equally to random, but they're playing CB so that's where they're protesting, I suspect if you asked most of them would be happy to see the class removed entirely, certainly most of the streamers and CC's seem to be of that opinion.

@El2aZeR, @Bear__Necessities and @Sunleader are some of the best CV players on the server and are the loudest critics of the class of all. The top 3 clans in clan battles have renamed themselves "NOCV" or variants thereof, do you think those players have never tried to learn how to play against them?

No way for WG to monetize it so no chance.

However Smolensk is by far the most played T10 cruiser and thus is statistically far closer to being a silver ship than an extremely rare ship removed from sale 2 1/2 years ago.

But then is the playerbase a function of the choosable answers? Which is to say have WG's developed the game in a way that drives away good players and only really appeals to HE slinging noobs?

Because that would be to admit that the whole CV rework has been a total disaster and covering that up is obviously more important that the people playing the game.

I was going to leave it but I managed to make it to the end of the second part of your post and found that you'd hidden something quite important in there. What you seem to be saying here is that you need to state everything in the finest detail so that someone new to the thread knows where you are coming from. Sorry, but no. The regular visitors far outnumber the newcomers at this stage and if the newcomers really need to know where you're coming from they can go back and read earlier posts. And of course is the problem in writing such over-long posts, you end up obscuring what you are trying to say and posters miss it as is demonstrated in this case. Well, it's not as if you're saying anything that hasn't been said before, and if you think your opinion is worth 5 minutes of my time then your post had better be well written and interesting or I'll just stick to reading the posters who can get their views across in 30 seconds or less. First word of the sentence only and proper nouns i.e. people and places (cities not shops), everything else should be lower case. Well okay, but don't expect anyone to read it. Just to be clear I'm trying to help and I am interested in what you have to say, you just make it damn hard to find out what that is. If I were to guess I'd say that over half the words written in this thread have come from you, it would help the thread if you could shorten your posts a bit and improve the layout to make them easier to read and understand.

No, what I said is that there are several dozen other posters on here who can communicate their thoughts without resorting to unreadable walls of text and I and most others would rather spend our time reading that than trying to unravel your incoherrent ramblings. And in terms of preferring a 6 year old, they have the potential to learn. Edit: Apologies to the moderators for the sidetrack, maybe it might help improve his posts and the thread.

This is an internet forum, if you can't grasp the idea that readers have a very limited attention span and posts need to be as concise as possible I'd rather have the 6 year old posting instead. Also, pedantry, toddler is 12 - 36 months and why is every other word capitalised when only the first I should be?

So logically, using that argument, if WG were to cut BB HP pools in half that would be a buff then?

Generally HE was there for shore bombardment and was almost never used against ships. Also IRL AP shells are quite capable of starting fires on ships.

Monetization. CV rework is okay for the kind of potato BB players WG wants to cater to and if you have a problem with planes then that's all the more reason to grind to the latest OP T10 offering; want to be competitive in ranked/clan battles, grind out that ship again; Smolensk problems? Grind that ship out; want your UU to maintain competitiveness, again grind grind grind; special captains, guess what......... free stuff? Ha Ha Ha. Or you can pay WG $$$$$$ to skip the above. Interesting, where did you hear that?

Given the number of games that end up being landslides one way or another, that sounds to me a lot like you're going to end up doing 100% of all in the majority of battles.

I said pretty much the same thing on page 1 of this thread, once WG started down this route it was going live no matter what and if it destroys the game then so be it.

Again? Hasn't high tiers always been , all that's changed is that WG has found ways to make the lower tiers as well.
