  1. I happened upon @Episparh in the creditmaker (can't ever have too much credits ), me grinding z-23, on Ice Islands. Very nice radar support in A made for a good start. Nearly lost the game due to some other camping bbs, but after a successful yolo torp on Musashi the last minute and a misplay by their Z-52, we were able to win the game on points. Wp Epi ...and sorry to any I may have been pissy to :( edit: I'm pretty sure I saw you near the top of the scoreboard, so your weight was definitely pulled.

    What about slightly improved AP fuse to make them more reliable counters to light (IFHE) cruisers?

    I still play New Orleans a lot and enjoy the ship. I don't think it's weak to be honest. Stats show it's not particularly strong either though so like Miki wrote, they may not be the easiest ships to perform in. I wouldn't mind the slight buff I mentioned though.

    Agreed. I've stated that I only like to see a slight AP fuse buff to Pensacola and New Orleans. This should make them counter IFHE cruisers better, bringing their respective WRs down a bit.

    Most ships are fairly balanced. That doesn't mean you can't tweak some of them to make them better balanced. Who would've thought..? edit: so you've played a grand total of 2 Pensacola games and 0 New Orleans games post US cruiser line rework?

    Not sure how relevant this is now since stats change by the week, but I think it's fairly safe to say that Pensa and New Orleans aren't overperforming at least.

    I agree to some extent. I see no need to buff them vs dds, but I think they need a slight buff against light cruisers in mid tiers. I'd shorten the AP fuse a slight bit to reduce the risk of AP overpenning the citadel vs broadside light cruisers at short ranges. I think that's all what's needed.

  10. I doubt they will do this because why would they? The rework isn't done yet. Lots of balancing remains. People are generally dissatisfied with change, regardless of what change. They knew there would be a shitstorm following the rework. They don't know if the rework will improve the game by the end. Maybe it will, maybe it won't, it was a gamble they were willing to take it seems. They could've just scrapped cvs altogether or moved them to purely co-op/missions. Instead they poured a lot of effort and money into trying to incorporate cvs into Randoms in a new way. Come back in a year and see if the game is played as much as before or more, and if cvs still are playable as a class. If so, the rework should be regarded a success.

    Supposedly WG has considered and maybe even tested adding a tier to the MM. Having an 11th or a 12th tier to sporadically dispose tier 10 ships seems like a pretty good solution. It didn't work out for some reason, which seems strange...

    'more advanced'... as in if there's a dd near or not..? If/when he is launching torps..? Are there other 'advanced' uses? I haven't said PT is useless, I used it earlier, but for Atlanta, I prefer PM. ...but ofc only if you have the braiiins for it

    Maybe high tiers are good, maybe not. My point is still valid. Balance changes are likely to continue until the majority of the players have realized what cvs are and what they can do, which likely will take a fair bit longer than stats will show.

    Wasn't the point I was making, if you read a bit more. Maybe high tier cvs still are good, I don't know.
