You mean killing a low health dd from >10km in stealth fire mode? Yes that goes away. You're like a politician trying to trick gullible voters of some horrible change boogeymen are bringing. If you're >10km away from the enemy low health dd you land the final shots on - you're probably not very close to the enemy team to begin with. Dodge the shots or smoke up perhaps? I think reducing the time dds are visible after firing to 12s or so, as discussed, would be a nice buff. Perhaps too strong for some dds. Khabas with heal would probably benefit most from it. -
I liked it. It was reasonable, good questions and answers. Very good format and I hope it's done again in a few months or so.

What 20s longer?? It's always been 20s. If you think you can kill the enemy dd while shot at by the enemy team, you go for it, if not - you try disengage before, and you preferably have smoke or a good escape route before you attempt it. I don't see much difference from before here. For most it is a minor change. -

If your average is equal to the average of an equally skilled Gearing player, why would the lack of consistency matter? If you performed consistently on the high end, the Shima would be looked at as OP. I'm not saying it shouldn't be buff from where it is, I don't enjoy IJN dds myself, but many ships are inconsistent because you're dependent on the rest of the team more for those. I think that's how it should be. edit: for competitive play, I see the issue. -
Perhaps some easy challenge mode? forumites could group up for a quick battle?

It's a decent buff. Won't break anything, but help high tier cruisers and dds a bit. I think that's the intention and there's no fault in that imo. The patch in general looks fine too. Can't comment on cvs but overall it should be good. People overreacted about RPF too. I just don't like how the tied the buff to the most used consumable... -

Yea, I'm not sure what to think about this... For dds it's a small buff, but for cruisers, it just pushes people to choose concealment over something else. I changed to the steering mod in Baltimore and think it was a decent trade, but now with a buff to the concealment mod..? Why tie a dispersion buff to the mod? Did they think the concealment mod was a bad choice compared to the other choices? -

5 min of torture for the bb and your teammates? People always say you should adapt to the meta of smoke and radars. The game will be better without stealthfiring kiting dds and cruisers. Stealthfiring in Lo Yang..? why not just try play it a bit differently?

I was just on set on fire on four different parts of my Pensacola by a Bismarck. I thought bbs only had three parts that could burn at one time. Cruisers can have four??

I was surprised by him, his secondaries and his ability to lit ships on fire, in a tour through the middle in Two Brothers. 4 fires and repair under cool down

I'm still trying to get a grip how to play Des Moines effectively. I've enjoyed a more ambushy/support role in Pensa-Balti, but Des Moines fires so rapidly, it feels like a waste not to use those guns more frequently. It hasn't worked out great since I can only hit bbs on medium to long range, plus - going for a more stealthy approach is usually more fun. Spamming HE has a tendency putting you on retreat and it just seems ineffective. The increased range module might be a waste on Des Moines. I use the Rudder 3 module instead of concealment on Baltimore, but may have to use concealment on Des Moines. So - how do you play Des Moines? What ships do you prioritise going after? What captain skills are essential? Do you spam HE or do you sneak around?

You still need to understand the context. Just saying it's possible. It's also possible to reduce bb health by half, or take away heal. Probably a bad idea, but it's still a game where changes are possible. This is a discussion forum. Issues in mechanics and possible changes should be able to be discussed without concern of all other effects. If smoke was to be nerfed in such a way, of course bbs would need to be nerfed and British cruisers buffed immensely in some other way. Do you believe the current meta is perfect as it is? Do you think it could be improved? Could the smoke mechanic be improved? Aren't you sensitive.. after this patronizing post - I think I'm done in this thread. Replying to Alexus was clearly not worth the time. Iäve had this discussion about smoke and radar before and it's not worth while. t's not even on topic. -

I think smoke would be better if used in a more defensive role than now. The current meta with smoke firing, countered by someone popping radar could be improved imo. I just proved it's not 0% - 100%. You can still have smoke effective in a defensive role. If you want to shoot, it's not as good as before - not that 100%. My mistake was trying to reason with Alexus. You at least should see the point that it's possible to change mechanics around smoke without taking it away completely.
