Thing is, it's pretty difficult to balance between the classes. I play US dds - I don't feel they're UP compared to other classes in respective tiers. Same goes to a lesser degree for US CA - New Orleans is uptiered too often to make a difference. Otoh, I feel Des Moines is a stronger tier 10 than Gearing. Other people have to point out which lines and classes are UP... No one has pointed out anything specific from what I've seen. Just that bbs are too numerous.. which might be for other reasons than bbs being too powerful in Random games.

No reason to point out some buffs being minor. The initial argument was - WG hasn't done anything against bbs, to lower the bb population. I pointed out several buffs to cruisers and dds (I'm sure there are others I've not mentioned) - both small and some more relevant. I haven't said more buffs to some lines, or nerfs to bbs, aren't needed, but just don't ignore the buffs done to cruisers and dds. Changes are being made all the time and the game is very much playable for all classes. How do you know that dds are UP compared to bbs? Do you go by your feelings? Do you have stats that say they're UP? Are all tier 10 dds UP? Is it some of them? They're all fairly balanced compared to each other this final week, if you exclude the Khaba. Tier 10 CAs? Same questions as above..

didn't some get a concealment buff too? The point is that people tend to forget every buff that happen to dds and cruisers. Are cruisers and dds UP compared to bbs in high tier? it doesn't look like it in Random games, looking at your stats. There's still a bb overpopulation issue, but it's not gamebreaking in any way. I wouldn't mind some changes and possible nerfs to bbs in some aspects, but they are better done after changes to game mechanics, if such are necessary...

IFHE and AP bombs? OP Belfast is great at burning bbs and they've kept the bb-harasser Khaba OP until now, maybe it's still OP. Fletcher is a borderline OP dd. They've buffed US cruiser line. Tirp and Bismarck can't pen the nose of Des Moines anymore. Hindenburg is getting buffed I think. Russian and IJN dds have gotten slight buffs too, I believe. There's still a bb problem, but don't tell me no changes have been made to alleviate the issues in high tier. Are you performing poorly in high tier cruisers and dds? Way better in high tier bbs? I haven't checked your stats, but I presume that's the case.

So..? The smoke mechanic shouldn't be touched and WG hasn't taken a pledge to never change it? ....not that a pledge from WG would matter the slightest to some posters...

Stealth fire is better left scrapped. Maybe it could be interesting to see if radars should be blocked by islands again. I wouldn't mind a slight buff to cruiser concealment and bb concealment nerf either.

I also wonder if the Kraken and First Blood buffs are global or only involves the Isoroku captain, like it seemed from earlier reports.

That's the reasonable way to change premiums, but StupidRhino seems to believe WG is hindered by regulation. I doubt that's the case, but I'm not sure. They better play it safe though and not nerf premiums directly, I understand that.

This is confirmed, so maybe include it in OP to avoid repeating it... Seems smoke won't be implemented this way. They are looking at changing smoke, which probably means radars will play a lesser role than now. I'll see what they'll do and how it works before jumping to conclusions.

There are too many bbs in the game. 5 per side more or less each game in high tiers. I still find the game very playable in both dds and cruisers, so other than having 1-2 bbs more per game than optimally, what is the actual issue? Are you suffering in your cruiser or dd, or do you have to wait in queue to play bb yourself? Or is the it a gameplay issue where 5 bbs per side make the games overly passive?

Then there's interpreting the data too... You were doing about average damage but your WR was not so good?? Looks to me you were doing good damage while having only slightly above average WR. A bit of damage farming perhaps and overall slightly more effective than the average player in Gnevny? -

Much of the crying may come from frustrated potatoes who don't know how to deal with smoke, but that doesn't mean the smoke mechanic can't be improved. I still like the idea better where larger calibre guns makes you visible for a moment in a larger area - still concealed to a degree - than guns of a smaller calibre. Lowers the offensive ability in smoke, but it's there and it's for the one in smoke to choose and it increases the ability to counter ships firing from smoke. -

So..? I'm pretty sure he agrees some of those ships are OP and that div-games buffs the stats. He may still be okay with nerfs of said ships and changes to div rules. We all abuse the current mechanics to win. I'm all for changing broken mechanics even if it means nerfs to some of my preferred ships.
