Well its not TOO hard with Saipan. I mean Tier 9 aircraft. In the two torpedo squadrons, the max youll lose to ship AA is at least 2. That is, if the AA is combined. Damage wise, its ok. Not like Im saying that this ship is easy to play or anything. Its really hard because its a lot more different compared to your standard CV. It seems like an American and Japanese CV mixed together. You have the fighter power along with good Torpedoes. Ive not really played the ship so I dont know how it plays.

The smoke mechanic wont be implemented for sure. Even if it does get implemented, smoke will be purely used to escape from bad situations.

It depends tho whether the "scrub" knows what the heck Radar is used for. I have my Hiryu and half the time I see a Saipan. Now Saipan is meant to outperform any tier 7 carrier. Yet I outperform it. The planes are tier 9 sure but everything depends on the person controlling the ship.2 squads of tier 9 aircraft attacking one of my fighers? I strafe the squads with the other one and also send the other one out of the fighter lock by ALT. then, RIP 6 tier 9 fighters. I see these mistakes all the time. Its because the captain dosent know WTF he is doing. Then also once Im in a Fuso. We have an Enterprise. Again. He keeps all his strike squads around his ships and does goodness knows what with his fighters. It just means that half of those who own OP premiums are just really either new or dont know what to even do

Ahhh but dont be dishearted. Like all ships, even premium ships have a counter. Belfast is not overpowered. Sure you have Radar and smoke but you must remember this. Every ship has a counter. Saipans counter is any CV captain who strafes well. Belfast counter is I guess being citadelled easily because its also a disposable cruiser like the rest of its brethren Not to mentain that a ship lke Belfast and Saipan is truly overpowered only if the captain is good.

XD The amount of BBs. I Would have LOVED that MM if I were in that Taiho place. Besides this MM is pretty ok. At least its not 5 DDs per team. Once upon a time even WoT had worse MM. There were basically 4 classes in WoT Medium, Heavy, Light and SPG tanks. The medium, heavy and SPG class Tanks received normal MM like +1 or+2 tier matches. But the light tanks always recieve+2 and +3 MM The MM is so bad in that game that time now its better because they changed the Matchmaking system. Basically if you are in a tier 6 light tank, you would reach tier 9 Battles most of the time. At least its not like that here. Even if that happens, you have HE. PS- dont delete your account. Its from my perspective that I love that type of match because im a CV player and nothing makes me more happy to see a bunch of BBs.

Hmmm Is it so that you get carrier sniped a lot in tier 9 and 10? I dont think it would be too viable maybe take concealment expert (if you dont have it) so that you can be a ninja around the battlefield. But please do tell me if you get Carrier sniped a lot at tier 9 and 10. I dont want to believe that you do

CVs I actually love this as a class even though I dont do well in it. Im up to Hiryu because Japanese CVs tend to be my favourite (Who like the americans?) If you look at it. The japanese CVs are the most simplest and Balanced CVs in the game. Lets compare Zuiho to Bogue. Zuiho Balanced loadout of 121 Bogue Stock is 110 Mod2 012 Mod3 201 If anyone is questioning to why I am stating the obvious, here goes.... I know that at least 1/2 of those who visit or comment in this Forum is an avid Japanese CV player. But I dont think this1/2 of the Japanese CV player population will grow in the near future. UPDATE 0.6.3 -Removed ALT attack for tier 4 and 5 CVs. THIS IS A NERF TO THE JAPANESE CVs WHY? Japanese fighters Fall to their knees against american fighters. Thus most Japanese CV player tend to rely on either friendly AA to weaken the enemy squadron or Strafe. Tier 5 Bogue. Youtubers have recommended this. There might be some bugs with the UI or the bots but here goes. I had gotten destroyed early game and was spectating those bots controlling the transport ships. I went to see a ship "Aronia". (I must say, this bot is good at torpedobeats) He was attacked by two torpedo bomber squadrons and dodged both the torps. But instead of resetting course to the ending point to disembark the soldiers, he went directly into the minefield not turning to get out either. Is this a bug or the bots are not able to detect minefields. I played this gamemode in the test server but the differences I find are the fact that the Luftwaffe bombers are even more accurate.

Isnt this the same class of the warspite? 381mm guns. Gonna see a long reload on these guns.

It seems kind of lazy what you are doing. I mean asking others to tell you whether a ship is good or not isnt really good. Its also not reliable because for example you might ask. Is the Yamato good. One guy will end up saying no its not it sucks. Whether you like a ship or not shouldnt be based on others judgement because everyone has different playstyles and like different ship types. My opinion to what you should do is just try the ship yourself preferably in 3-4 battles, then judge whether you like it or not. I have no problem with people trying to skip ships but just try the ship first and if you hate it, you hate it.

I had this experience today in my Hiryu. Half the team went for the C cap and everyone else just went to A. Long story short, we got rolled. How do you cope with this ? Just kill as many as you can because people dont listen to people.

HE isnt a damage deaing shell So if you are looking for 2000dmg salvos, use AP HE is meant to annoy BBs with fires and constant HE hits. Its meant also for destroying DDs and hurting cruisers too. If you want a lot of fire damage and constant chance of setting a fire, go for the Japanese or the French cruisers. The russian cruisers are known mostly for the shell velocity the HE isnt that bad but salvos where you get only 500 HE dmg is fine. HE does not have the penetration and will always stick itself on armoured places of the ship

All that you mentioned here doesnt seem bad whatsoever. I mean its not great like the nicholas but its not bad either. 7.5 torp range with guns that turn 360 is not bad in my opinion. The HE is not a problem as German HE is crap anyways. I dont know why players find it tough to play this ship its not bad at all.

Well They always say that in a destroyer make sure there are no allies in the torpedo line of fire. But you never know. maybe that Battleship was in binocular mode and didnt hear the torpedo alert sound. Just dont be sad or anything. He mustve understood that was his fault. But the Teamkiller status goes away in a day or two so no worries

Just telling now. This is what I expect to be in game when these lines may or not, Come. All the ships I say in this Forum is all from searches in Google so Just comment on something which is wrong K? K. Now. We start with ZE GERMANS KRIEGSMARINE AIRCRAFT CARRIER (Aircraft headed by Luftwaffe maybe? IDK) OK Lets start at Tier 4. I think at tier 4 The Weser would fit in nicely It has a small hangar only 20 aircraft It was converted from a german Cruiser namely the seydlitz and inherited its 32knts max speed In other words nothing else was there about her. Next at Tier 5 The II This yet again has a hangar of only 23 aircraft. But there is other things. This was supposed to be on the base of the DE Grasse French Cruiser. It wasnt completed but it might have De Grasse speed so I guess not to crazy maybe? Now at Tier 6 The Jade Class (Jade/Elbe) This is not a converted ship like the tier 5 one but since it has a hangar of 24 Planes. Who cares?? There isnt much on the Jade It did have 2 catapults and a max speed of 19KNTS Next at Tier 7 The I (1915) Dont be mistaken the project name was I (1915) This wasnt a purpose built Carrier, Rather it was converted from a passenger ship named Ausonia. It was meant to carry about 10 Fighters and 20 Torpedo/Dive Bombers. So we have 30 aircraft in the hangar. Since being a passenger ship I think it will be rather slow so dont expect much from her I guess (20KNTS) Tier 8 The Graf Zeppelin class carrier, B its Just a Graf Zeppelin. It has a hangar of 42 planes. Has the same speed and aircraft. Tier 9 ????????????? Tier 10 ????????????? Honestly. I had so much Hype for these carriers. Now If WG does not increase their hangars, I dont think they will be my favourite. So. Tired of the "German Engineering" ? Lets move on to the additional lines for Japan and America Japan The line can branch into the secondary line at tier 8 Shokaku Tier 8 Soryu This actually was in the game in CBT but they removed it so yea. 72 aircraft Hangar capacity not too special as it was a Hiryu class or other way round. Max speed is 34 knts so pretty all Hiryu stats with some buffed. Tier 9 Akagi This is a Kaga TYPE and has about 90-92 aircraft Hangar capacity. Her max speed is 31.5 knts as she was like Kaga but instead intended to be a BattleCRUISER. (Thanks for pointing that out). Tier 10 Shinano THIS IS THE CARRIER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN HOPING FOR. The Yamato class Carrier.Unfortunately though the carrier could carry only 42 aircraft which can be increase to 100 as Im not sure whether its the amount on deck or in hangar. Shes pretty much like Yamato with the 27knts max speed. America The line can Branch again from Lexington Tier 8 Yorktown She has a hangar of 90 Aircraft. Max speed of 32.5 knts pretty standard issue american construction. Tier 9 Wasp Hangar capacity of about 100 planes max speed of 29.5 knts. Again standard Issue american construction Tier 10 United States This is actually a cold war carrier like Midway and Saipan but meh She has a hangar of about 90-100 Speed of about 33knts. Now What I would like to see different for these Branched out carriers. Maybe the Japanese carriers can have more fighter Supremacy while the american ones can have torpedo bomber supremacy along with some fighters too. I know these carriers will end up coming out as premium but hey. It would be cool to see them. But please. Do leave comments and tell me if something is wrong here bcause I think there is a lot. Well thats a big shame Because im an avid CV player but always fighting japanese and american CVs is kinda bland but hey, The devs say that now but you never know WG. They are seperate but im I guess making it a little easier. Sure they arent a class but their charactersitics are pretty much the same. But WG wont add them all because they have to look at balancing them with the american counterparts.
