  1. Hello! Okay, so here is my issue: I like this game, but I really, really suck at it. I have seen a lot of videos (most by Notser), but I seemingly improve really, really slow. (If at all). My best game ever was like, 60K damage with the Kongo, but that was just pure luck. Normally my damage - regardless of tier - is very, very low. I'd say that I'm lucky when I do more than 5-10K damage (on Tier IV/V). I haven't really given up on improving, but I guess I'll need a LOT more time and games to get better, but I'm a little bit afraid about getting too many of these "plays poorly" reports. So, what will happen if I get a lot of these? Will my account be suspended, banned or something else? Thanks in advance, Miri p.s.: Sorry for the Wall of Text, somehow the formatting doesn't work.

    The World of Warships ModStation!

Hmm. Tried to install the mod, however there are no Duke Nukem and KanColle voiceovers for me, only the other four. Will the DKN and KC voiceovers come back, or are they gone for good?

Any hints on improving my aiming?

Hello! Actually I'm having severe issues hitting anything (with guns) over more than like, 5 miles or so. I have seen a few video guides on YouTube already, however my aiming is still utterly terrible. If I had to guess I'd say that probably only 10% of my shots over long distances hit (maybe even less) ... any ideas how to get better? Or do I just need to practice more? Thanks,Miri

That's a lot of tips, thank you all very much. I'll keep that in mind!

Well, mostly cruisers and battleships. I'm way too bad to play destroyers. Usually I zoom in as close as possible. Crosshairs - well, I saw some video that recommended using dynamic crosshairs, so I use them. I read the travel time, but my "skill" at guessing where my shells hit is very bad, same goes for guessing the target ship's speed.

    "Downgrade" of ARP ships.

While I will never get these ships (I'm no PvP player anyway, and I only play very rarely, so ...) I still wonder if the ARP ships feel right. The anime viewers know that Fleet of Fog ships have beam weaponry, missiles, corrosive warheads, the Klein field (Which is a really stupid name - damn their love for adding random foreign words in Anime, but I'm digressing here ...) and supergravity cannons. Of course all this weaponry would totally break the balancing of WoWs, as far as my (admittedly little) understanding of the game goes. No way that good old WWII guns/torpedoes could compare to any of the above mentioned FoF weaponry, if even the conventional 21st century forces utterly failed against the FoF. (No, I don't count Iona and Gunzo as 'conventional'.) For example the main beam weaponry alone (which feels almost like hitscan in the anime) would make any targeting trivial. So, for balance reasons, the WoWs ARP ships have nothing of the sort, right? No, I don't think that re-colored shells - which are still nothing like the incredibly long energy beams in the series - count. Yes, they have smaller beam weaponry, okay - but these don't seem to be, well, main guns. My core problem is: The immersion feels totally wrong. Why would any ship of the FoF downgrade their equipment to such a level? Why would they even forgo their Klein fields? That doesn't really make any sense to me. Don't get me wrong. I love ARP, much more than similar series. I also love crossovers - Super Robot Taisen games are all time faves for me - but I think a crossover can't be done properly in the environment WoWs offers. :/ So, my question is: Is there any way to justify the downgrade of the ARP ships immersion-wise? (Excuse my bad English. It's not my native language.)

    "Downgrade" of ARP ships.

And that's exactly my problem - of course, with their anime counterpart equipment they would probably be unbeatable even if it was like, 12 vs 1. Still wondering if there is any way to explain their downgrade immersion-wise. Of course it could probably be some kind of "game" for the mental models, but in all honesty, their behaviour in the series doesn't strike me like they're interested in any kind of entertainment or pastime - so that "explanation" is very weak and unsatisfying.
