    Penetration - No Damage

    I guess these 0 damage penetrations are module hits. Modules have (hidden) HP that isn't counted by your damage counter. If your shell does enough damage to destroy a module like a secondary or AA mount you see a grey symbol for that on the enemy ship. If it doesn't you don't get any feedback, because module HP isn't shown. (I had this thought when I was driving a DD. I got hit with AP and there was a notification: Penetration received - AA mounts destroyed.)

    No, it's usually correct. However, WG does this sneaky thing that the missions end at 5/6/7 a.m. on that day.

    Sellable modules?

    1: Get Tier 1 ship. Mount module. Right-click module, click 'X' on top right, select 'sell' by clicking on doubloons. Repeat 21 more times. Or wait 5-10 patches until they add a proper sell option. 2: They added credits as compensation (can't remember, but I think it was > 1 million), there was a notification on bottom right in port after the update. Plus, you get more than a million for selling in step 1.

    3 usually fails because there are to many wussies around. One soft cruiser and one DD can stop 9 ships because BBs don't know how to push.

    Alles subjektiv, genau. Ich wollte den OP nur warnen, damit er bloß nicht denkt dass die Pepsi tanken kann. Ich habe zu viele Pensacolas mit Myoko/Yorck/Pensacola/... aus jedem beliebigen Winkel böse verdroschen. Die wussten offensichtlich nicht wie man damit ungeht. Wenn man es aber weiß, kann man gute Ergebnisse erzielen und Spaß damit haben.

    Eher das Gegenteil. Man kann einer Pepsi mit 203mm-Kanonen auf mittelkurze Entfernung Zitadellen verpassen, egal wie angewinkelt sie ist. Dazu noch die lausige Verborgenheit macht es nicht einfach zu spielen. Wenn man aber versteht wann man wo sein muss und wie man mit dem Hintern wackeln muss, kann man böse austeilen. Die panzerbrechende Muni der Pepsi ist so gut, sie könnte glatt ein russisches Schiff sein.

    I got 3 or 4 offers today, I guess all you need to do is play. I don't know if this is a lottery or if your performance matters. 8 days premium for free is nice, but I think this is a one-off giveaway. We're supposed to like this new feature so we pay attention to what they will throw at us in the future.

    You could always buy some premium time or convert some doubloons into credits ... ;) Yes, it's stupid. But they need something to make us spend money. Freemium model ftw ...... not!

    If you want to save credits, you can skip B hull. I do this for the ships that are not terrible with stock hull. As Kunde said, you can't sell modules without selling the ship.

    At least we now know why WG was reluctant to answer when we asked which mods are allowed. IMO as long as this is in the game, aim-assist mods should be allowed. They bring nothing new to the game, so it's just like running lights mod or smoke boundaries. Remove this!!! Don't wait for 5.9. Do it now!

    Proper Teamkilling Solution

    Most likely he turned pink after the game. I know, it's not much of a consolation. Repeat offenders get the team-damage reflected on them, so they take out 2 ships with one strike. The current system doesn't work and all they changed in 5.8 is we get chat-spam now. IMO a good punishment for repeat offenders would be to restrict them to low-tier battles, max 4 or 5. At least they can't do much economic damage to their targets at low ship repair costs.

    It's no joke, because DDs have no armour. They are supposed to dodge shots, you can use your good manouverability to achieve this. And if all hell breaks onto you, you can use smoke and get out. DDs have a special playstyle: it's all about not getting detected or not getting hit. Learn when to engage and disengage.

    That's why it is useful to pick the captain skill 'Last Stand' for two points on destroyers. If you are greedy for damage and you want faster torpedo reload instead, you have to make sure not to get detected or hit.

    Russian cruisers have very very stronk guns, but they can be sunk very easily. You have to worry about your positioning constantly. I think japanese and american cruisers are more newb-friendly.

    I have all ARP ships. Only the voices of Haruna, Hiei and Kongou are available. I guess it takes some time to get more voices into the game, so all we can do is wait.

    General Feedback

    Great update! You fixed the SA skill that was broken by the file packaging update. MM works perfectly, teams aren't identical but balanced. (played while 9k players online) More hit information and ribbons are awesome. Now that the incapacitation ribbon is a more pale yellow, golden citadel ribbon would be fine. But I'll get used to the black one I think. It's nice to be able to see the number of pens/non-pens/ricochets in the summary after the battle. It would be even more nice to see them in the detailed report when hovering the mouse cursor over every ship I damaged. With the current frequency and quality of updates I must say: You are making great progress in the development of this game and it's really hard to stop playing. Edit: Oh yes, I forgot the pink ramming info in chat. The only gripe with this update. Please reduce this or limit it to heavy team damage, like more than 1k or xx% ship-health.

    Schade, dass die roten Farbbeutel abgeschafft wurden. @Arnie: 'Wo fahre ich hin?' ist eine Strategiefrage, die kann man erst angehen wenn man ein bisschen Erfahrung hat. Für den Anfang reicht es, wenn Du nicht auf eigene Faust in den Feind segelst. Du musst nicht gleich mit neun Schafen/Lemmingen in einer Herde fahren, Verbünde von 2-4 sind auch stark. Wenn man in Überzahl ist kann man drücken, wenn man in Unterzahl gerät sollte man abdrehen. Versuche Dir anzugewöhnen öfter auf die Minikarte zu schauen. Man kann sie übrigens mit der '+'-Taste am Numblock größer machen. Erst wenn man die Gefechtslage auf der Karte einschätzen kann, kann man sich auch überlegen wo man am meisten gebraucht wird.
