So when people get their behinds kicked at mid-tier, why do they feel the need to play at even higher tiers? A 'normal' player needs a couple hundred battles to get to the North Carolina and if he plays more than one ship line he will need thousands of battles. What makes you think you can just buy a Tirpitz or Alabama and compete with that guy? Buy a South Carolina and learn to play. Only when you get decent games consistently with SC you are ready to play the Wyoming. Rinse and repeat until you get to Montana.

Yes, IJN DDs win easily vs. stupid less skilled USN DD players, just turn away and kite him to death. Smart players will disengage and jump you later at close range. Against the totally non-biased Soviet/Russian DDs your torps are your best weapon, the speed of the F3s is dangerous even to DDs. While the IJN guns are ok, I miss the huge alpha they used to have (with longer reloads). I would like to have a choice between fast reload & low damage and slow reload & more damage so everybody could choose the best gun for his play style.

Ich bin in Randoms schon öfter und im Clangefecht einmal rausgeflogen. Das ist erst seit diesem oder dem letzten Update so.

Mine works fine. Give her some time, maybe you need to learn how to play her. I like to play mine with F3 torpedoes and with TRB instead of smoke lately.

It would be unfair to the cruisers of tier 2 which have bad accuracy themselves. Well, at least now I have a reason to play her again. I want to test her with a couple more games to get a better picture, I only have played 3 so far (and these three games were fun). Much appreciated.

Kawachi has the same dispersion where 2 shells from one turret bracket a Kurfürst-sized gap, only because of the volume of shells you don't notice it that much. You get the same when comparing Bismarck to Gneisenau. 8 guns vs. 6 guns isn't a big difference but the Gneisenau just feels much more inaccurate.

Why don't you just say the DD was overconfident?

This might be an unpopular opinion but whatever. Do not change Mikasa's accuracy, it's fine. I haven't played many games with her but in my experience if you aim right you will get hits. Don't compare her to Amagi or Yamato, compare her to Kawachi, that dispersion isn't much different. This ship requires good positioning from the beginning because you are so damn slow. Since experienced captains know how tier 2-3 battles play out they should have no problem finding that good positioning. Both HE and AP are really good, change ammo depending on the situation. And always remember this is a tier 2, you can't expect much of it. I guess now it's time for me to bend over and grab my ankles?

Actually there is a way: division up with him. I doubt he would want to join you though. (I know you aren't 100% serious.) There is a very useful 'Blacklist' option, it blocks port messages by that player. Right click a player in port, on the battle result screen or even right in the battle (press and hold Tab) and select the blacklist option. If a player spams the battle chat too much you can mute him as well. (Sadly, quick commands can't be muted at all.)

Check again when you have concealment expert and module ...

I have devastated an Udaloi with my Tirpitz at 9 - 11 km, 5 penetrations. (He was angled, but still ...) A Montana can do the same at higher ranges, it's just broken. Nobody's talking about low-tier yolo-rush tactix.

If there will ever be a spectator mode for clan battles, screw typhoon league. I want to watch this, the lowest of the lowest. Next 7 Khaba vs. 7 Shima. Bring it on!

Ihr müsst einfach sehen, dass es Spieler gibt denen ihr egal seid. Das Team ist ihnen auch egal. Das Spiel ebenso. Die wollen einfach nur ein bisschen rumschippern, ab und zu doppelklicken und gelegentlich von RNGesus' Gnaden einen Kreuzer devastaten. Schaut euch einfach mal ein paar Werbeclips zu WoWS an, dann wisst ihr warum die hier sind. Tipp: Da wird nichts von Teamspiel oder kompetitiv gesagt ... Spart euch die Nerven, akzeptiert einfach dass es ein paar verlorene Gefechte gibt wo man nur versuchen kann so viel Schaden wie möglich zu machen bevor das eigene Team 0 Punkte hat. Die gute Nachricht ist, Clan-Gefechte sehen jetzt schon aus wie ein voller Erfolg. Das sind gerade zwar nur 4 mal 3 Stunden pro Woche, aber es hilft die Randoms etwas besser zu ertragen. Wenn man die Möglichkeit hat wettkampforientiert zu spielen (und dazu noch auf jedem Niveau, muss nicht jeder OM, OMNI, TTT nacheifern), können einem die Randoms komplett am Heck vorbeigehen.

French cruisers play pretty much similarly from tier 4 all the way up to tier 10. So if you like Emile, you'll like Henri.

Welches Team eigentlich? Das sind 12 zusammengewürfelte Spieler oder in diesem Fall 10 zusammengewürfelte Spieler und 2 Alabamas die zusammen in den Tod fahren. Die Ansagen am Anfang sind sowieso ein Thema für sich. Das kann doch gar nicht funktionieren, wenn jeder der 12 Admirale einen anderen Plan hat. Einige lassen sich nicht gerne sagen was sie machen sollen, das haben die vorher schon genug vom Chef und von der Frau gehört. Das mit der Strategie im Random habe ich schon lange aufgegeben. Karte lesen und schauen wo man am besten carrien kann, mehr geht nicht. Manchmal kann man mit den Schnell-Befehlen Einzelne zum zusammenarbeiten überreden, das war's aber auch schon. Jetzt wo es Clan-Gefechte gibt finde ich das auch nicht mehr so schlimm. Hier kann man das Zusammenspiel lernen und perfektionieren. Randoms fährt man dann nur wenn man neue Linien hochzieht oder Missions-Belohnungen abgreifen will.

I would like to know if anyone else has ever had this problem. Sometimes when I'm in battle my UI bugs out, all symbols that are related to my division mates disappear. That includes ship symbols on top of the screen, symbols on the minimap, symbols with name and HP of the ship above the ship models and the name of the player in the kill feed above the minimap. Also, I cannot see torpedoes fired by my division mates, I only get the beep-beep warning when they come close. Screenshots: After the battle my ship selection was shown as 'NULL' for my division mates. The next battle was OK again. I didn't restart anything, it just fixed itself. This bug can happen at any time in random battles or in clan battles. I will post more screens when it happens again.

Es gibt aber noch einen Unterschied. Spieler mit 10000 Gefechten auf der Uhr, die ihre Zehner Spielen wie Anfänger. Um die ging es mir eigentlich. Leute, die absichtlich gegen das Team spielen sind sehr selten.

I wouldn't wait too long, I love my DM. There is no discounts announced for october and most discounts are for ships of max. tier 8 nowadays. You could wait for the november announcement on the homepage if you are patient enough.

Gelegentlich wird man grundlos angegangen. Wenn sich die 'Beschwerden' häufen, sollte man eventuell auf seine Spielweise schauen. Viele vergessen, dass dies ein Teamspiel ist. Ich würde gerne mehr beitragen, aber so ganz ohne Infos (OP hat die Stats zu) gibt es hier gar nichts zu sagen. Dann kann der Thread wieder zu, oder?
