Try to hit her with F3 torpedoes, fyi those have 8 km range. Plus, a Missouri player can decide himself when a DD will be spotted, i.e. when his guns are loaded and pointed at the DD. What counter-play does a DD have against radar? Run, sit it out behind an island or spam F3-key at the radar cruiser and hope your BBs delete him. The last one is impossible against a Missouri.

Don't fire torpedoes from second line. The guys in first line have enough to worry about, they don't need your metal fishes from behind. You might try going to the first line yourself, it makes hitting much easier if you get as close to the enemy as you can.

Actually there is discrimination. CVs cannot farm detonation flags, they can only dish them out to others.

I always used Juliet Charlies on my tier 10 ships in randoms, not any more since season two of clan battles or the ranked season before that. Nothing changed. Detonations happen very rarely and with a random frequency like they always did. Sometimes you don't see any for weeks, then 3 in one battle or you detonate in two consecutive battles. That's normal for random events.

That's not the problem. In a 1v1 against BBs and most cruisers you cannot die, period. The problem is being detected by radar or a plane and then being hit by a BB with multiple shells even at 15 km and you have no counter-play. If you angle away less shells hit but they are very likely to pen. (e.g. 1 shell multiple pens for 9k damage). If you go full broadside he gets multiple overpens for half your health or all of it. Right now BBs are the most effective ship at killing DDs, cruisers envy them. Your opening post got the answers it deserved. It looks like a typical bad BB player rant saying 'I don't want to learn, change the game for me'. Your second post gave me the feeling it might be worth trying to help you. If you want constructive responses you should choose your tone accordingly. Most people here are friendly and helpful. And most of us are fed up with players who think they know it all.

Recently I got one when I was complimented during the battle. It was a OK battle, not great. The other time I got one for the 'High Caliber' achievement, they didn't care about the kraken.

BBs have a strong impact on the outcome of the battle if they know stuff. The problem is that most BB players (including you, @Hannibalurg) don't know sh. How to influence the battle as a BB? If you are undetected you do not fire your first salvo at a BB that is at your max range. Hold your fire for the first cruiser or preferably DD that gets spotted soon after. Target selection is a big one where bad players are especially bad at. Radar cruisers are always priority targets. In CV battles AA cruisers are a priority. DDs are a priority because you won't see them for long. Blap them as soon as you can. BBs are only worth shooting at when they show broadside or you have no other target to shoot at. If your DD is in danger you are his bodyguard. Kill whatever tries to kill him. Get closer. The closer you get the more you can make sure that cruiser / DD dies and your DD survives. Push with your cruisers and DDs. Don't push into crossfires. If you don't have any or only a few targets to shoot at while a lot of them are detected: Your position is sh. Stop camping behind islands, use your freaking armor. If you can't survive in the open in a BB just uninstall or go to lower tiers and learn how to angle. Do not overextend. Retreat in time so you can heal up and come back later. You have 20-30 seconds between salvos to look at your minimap and your surroundings. BBs should never sail together like the lemmings they like to think they are. Split up so at least one of you gets a broadside to shoot at = create a crossfire. Concealment is one of the most broken skills for BBs, abuse it as much as you can. People will show you broadside when they don't know you are there. Also it is much easier to disengage and go dark. If your potential damage counter shows less than a million you had a terrible BB battle and you should be ashamed of yourself.

This is BS. Even after the nerf you can devastate DDs, just switch to HE. Or overpen him for half of his health.

Höchstwahrscheinlich wurdest Du von weniger als 4 Schiffen beschossen. Viele vergessen diese Anforderung für Dreadnought. Ich würde auch gerne eine Auszeichnung für potentiellen Schaden sehen, die könnte man dann auch mit Zerstörern und Kreuzern bekommen.

Just play battles, you are notified when you get coal and steel. You get 1 tier 10 ship, the second one would need quite a bit of farming so choose wisely.

Your suggestions look good, but how do we convince the typical BB player to play a cruiser? To them it feels like an emasculation.

@Aaahrg Unsere Benson hat sein Schiff wohl in der Lotterie gewonnen. Er ist spät gestartet und ist dann den weiten Weg nach Osten gefahren nur um den Gearing-Torpedo zu futtern. Ich war später aber nicht viel besser und habe einen Shima-Torpedo genascht, der eigentlich für unsere Mino bestimmt war. Alles in allem war ich froh, dass es vorbei war. Nächstes Mal sollte ich auf Deine Flanke fahren, vielleicht überleben wir dann beide?

Das habe ich noch nie benutzt. Normalerweise sollte man sich in Sicherheit bringen wenn man R gedrückt hat, die paar Sekunden mehr sind da nicht wirklich entscheidend. Für mich ist die Hauptbewaffnung wichtiger.

I used to have this error when I played a long session (8-12 battles). Before that I had FPS drops which were fixed with update 0.7.2.2. It's not a hardware problem (i7 8700K, 16GB RAM, GTX 1080 here), it's most likely Windows. Support did help me with this fix: Tip: Make screenshots of your WoWS settings before you wipe them for faster setup. And remember that every ship is reset, e.g. all your BBs have HE loaded. I haven't had the crash any more with this fix. I hope it helps you too.

Meine Aussagen: WoWS ist ein Teamspiel + Leute ohne Leistungswillen schieben sich in Hightier Ranked-Gefechte. Ich habe explizit gesagt im Random macht jeder was er will. Ist merkwürdig was Du da reininterpretierst. Was sind Elitekämpfer? Und wer hat gesagt Du sollst aus dem Forum raus? Bitte hilf mir. Habe ich es irgendwie falsch formuliert?
