Incorrect. I won with Hipper (hydro, zero AA skills and mods) against a couple of CVs only because they misplayed. When they played correctly I lost no matter what I tried. Apparently you lack the competence that is necessary to realize if an enemy is playing well or not, thus the ignorance. -
You hate ptfo, you hate the game and you say the players are leaving because of that. Why are you here? Why don't you just go?

Not necessarily, some of them rank out with <50% because of irrevocable ranks and saved stars. Though there are fewer of these guys around nowadays. Either it's due to the shorter season or many of them found out how to hide their stats. Still, there are some extremely ... dedicated individuals around. 1295 battles to rank 3, 1002 to rank 12(!), ... they must love ranked battles more than all of us combined. Edit: So you want to give facts a rest and only care about feeeeeelings? #VoTeFoRtRuMp2020 Go right ahead while we enjoy living in reality.

In your OP you complain about an equilibrium of victories and defeats: (And no, it isn't impossible. You aren't throwing dice here but even if you were doing that you would get streaks, even so called 'unbelievable' ones. That is the nature of randomness.) Now you say an equilibrium would be lovely: Which is it now? Do you see now what I meant when I was talking about hitting a brick wall? If you are stronger than everyone else you will climb, if you are weaker you will fall and if you have roughly the same level you will stay in place with small ups and downs of course. Try to think logically, tinfoil head theories won't help.

Yep, DDs spot you in ranked in under half a minute. You totally know what you are talking about. Your claims have zero weight if you don't show us some evidence.

The only thing that appalls me is your OP. Rework CVs give you purple stats when almost all others are green and you still whine they were to weak. Disgusting.

Why is it so hard to understand that not everyone is entitled to reach rank 1? Suppose a bad player plays ranked, wouldn't you expect him to reach a brick wall at some point? You want to ignore unicum stats so look at my first two seasons. I knew I wasn't good enough and I stopped playing when I realized that I'm pulling the teams down. I saw no point in bashing my head against the brick wall, I learned how to play instead.

FTFY. CV is the only class that is nearly immune to planes (plus all other sources of damage).

As long as there are regularly 2-3 Hoshos per team in low tier games, still no tutorials after all these years, terrible default settings (no alt interface, stamp-sized minimap, ...) and a terrible chat system that deletes messages randomly you won't retain many of the few new players who stumble into this game. These problems have been brought up by players in the forum who wished to make the game better and more accessible. They all have been ignored for years. And now you expect us to pick up the ball that you dropped and advertise your game for free? Nope. -

I disagree, I would prefer the new captains to be nerfed. Halsey and Yamamoto skills aren't triggered easily which makes them a special occurrence. Kuznetsov is just stupid op in comparison.

A well played Smolensk has an easy time to hit DDs, can melt cruisers and farms BBs. Battleships are very durable so they have a lot of time to rack up damage. Damage = xp = saved star. DDs only save a star when they can capitalize on enemy mistakes. OTOH DDs play a key role in gaining a star. A DD that supports his team with smokes, scouting and torpedo pressure doesn't need to do damage himself, he enables his teammates to do that. In addition to this the DD is the best ship type for contesting caps. The Daring is strong against DDs on top of that. However, if the team doesn't shoot at the detected targets you are SOL. Since gained stars push you towards rank 1 and saved stars only stop you from falling I prefer to play for the former. If you play the strongest ships and play them well you can have both of course. -

Always go to port after a battle if you don't have a huge stack of the camo of your choice (200+). If you click the 'Battle' button on the results screen you might enter the next battle with a naked ship. This may or may not have happened to me this season. Never give up whatever happens. No matter if your team loses a DD in the beginning, is out-radared 0 to 3 or you brought a naked Shimakaze into battle. Try to make the best of it, adapt your playstyle and team strategy accordingly. Slow firing ships a.k.a. BBs and cruisers like Venezia, Zao: Your dpm is terrible, you don't gain much if you plink at that angled BB for the whole match. Try to anticipate opportunities for big shots and hold your fire to be ready for those shots. Examples: First salvo of the match at DD or radar cruiser, not BB; DD is pushing and will spot squishy targets soon; teammate is about to use radar / hydro / plane to spot enemies. -
If game companies were ships WG would be the Yamato with range mod and SE that reverses from spawn and uses DCP for the first fire.

And while you are doing all that for each line the Puerto Rico owner buys all of them on day 1 for cash. Seems fair? The advantage of the missions is everyone has to put effort into it and doesn't have to lose ships while grinding a module. I gave the RB a chance, grinded the RU DDs because I never played them since the line split. Couldn't grind IJN DDs because I got bored immediately and free xped them to get Colbert and never look at RB again. Now they want to force me to do something I hate to do. -

I like to wait with the heal until I'm about to get hit to get the most of it. Try to have one of the two ready at all times. If you burn down often it's most likely due to bad positioning / over-extending. Watch your replays, the minimap in particular and try to figure out what you could have done better. Were you too close to too many enemies? Were you in a cross-fire? Did you have an escape ready (island or far enough to go dark after dcp)? Did you try to push when it was impossible / too early? -
2019 - Year of the CV 2020 - Year of the Uninstall Ignore your community and they will stop paying. Ignore them some more and they will stop playing. Without players there is no multiplayer game. If you are looking for ways to earn money with this game there is a solution. Work on the bugs that are bugging us. (horrible port chat that deletes messages randomly and shows online players as offline, aiming lock-on bug, infinite range torpedoes that run outside of the map, sound: random volume spikes, ...) Don't force us to play-test a CV rework on the live server for half a year (and in the end remove counter-play because our feedback matters ). Improve the quality of the game and our experience with it and I will be able to justify spending money again. The introduction of pay to win in any shape or form is a huge no-no for a lot of gamers. If this is the only solution for you to save your income I wish you the best of luck, a lot of it.

How is Yamato, Zao, Moskva, DM etc. legendary a trade-off? How is YY upgrade a trade-off? It's trash. You have to grind a lot less for these missions than for the RB and you have to grind the actual ship the mod is for and not some tier 6. Well, if the last part is true I won't have to worry about that and you about me so it's a win-win I guess.

WG has removed all my will to play their game for now. I'll enjoy Christmas instead. Sad that I won't get the single flag for each mission in directive 2 but I will survive that.

From my experience on NA: They like to shoot their guns, they blind fire a lot more than EU even in low tiers. They don't understand / care about the victory conditions all that much, ranked can be hilarious to watch at times. Lots of potatoes around just like here. Lots of fun talk in chat which can be entertaining. South Americans don't speak English. If you claim with your 52% that EU is EZ mode ... ... what is NA?

The biggest problem the community and CCs had with the NTC were the absurdly strong upgrades for ships you could get for a lot of grinding or just paying for free XP a.k.a. pay to win. You scrap that and introduce the RB with ships as rewards. Now you want to introduce (strong) upgrades for ships via RB. Edit* If you ever make it possible to buy upgrades for cash I'm out. You might as well introduce premium ammo while you are at it, these two are the same.

Ship-bucket memes and jokes aside if you have a medical condition or are piss-drunk and have to go unexpectedly just go. RL is always more important than some video game. Also, when the battle just started it will still take 2 - 3 minutes for action unless there are CVs involved.
