... and we got those coz of monetary reasons. case closed lol. not everyone likes to runs mods, i 4 sure do not. while i think it would be hillariously stupid to have a filter ingame to filter out female captns/turn them to male ones (as with the arp ones before), it's though a valid option to bring on top of female captns. also, one could twist this the other way round ^^: if do not want felame captns to be shown, if introduced, u might get a mod to turn them into male ones.... i mean, we even have a women's day celebration with dedicated camos... woat gives ? the effort going into this rather should go into a crusade 'gainst deadeye imho

it's a game, there's female gamers (at least i heard so )... they benefit there or not, that to estimate is on them. for sure i see no reason at all standing against. so, as this rather nowadays is a business decision, they'd be really poorly adviced to in doubt leave the option out simply due to pokitical standings which are long overcome. on top it indeed is a matter of the games background as well. the question here is, what they do estimate higher? historical accuracy or possible monetary gain? the answer can contain politics against such, but doesn't have to (if so, it indeed gets made a anti-"sjw" issue. but that not coz of "sjw"... woat a polemic term anyways *sigh*...)... such a possible political framing could be used the other way round as well ofc anyways. "got women, we're cool"... but if it's simply coz they don't see an economical benefit, woat gives? it's not like the problems of gender and social equality will be solved by this question or on this forum. so, why u not all leave this out and try to discuss this matter away from political believes?

i thought about this a bit and come to the conclusion, that armor seems the major issue heere to me. cita-dmg might not be the problem, it's the overmatch mechanic which negates angling. but, and that's the real problem imo, this as a matter of balance, at least partly. thus, changing stuff here could result in quite some unintended effects if done in a hurry... so i take that as a given lol. your solution would be the easy way to approach this. but still i think there's quite some ships, high tier cruisers in particular, which could benefit from this over the top. so, might for any cruiser without a heal?... there's already some within that range i assume who would get too much benefit off this.... lower tiers only? not surrrrre..... idk, i'd rather stick with the current model. this teaches the hard way so to say, even though quite some doesn't seem to learn the lesson lol. now question is, would that improve with such suggested change? i guess not tbh, rather even becoming worse ;(.... 2cts

hmm... see no reason to do it, none to not do it either. guess idc.... captn'ed a military ship, got honored? option for unique cmd, simple. though most of those we got been kind of topnotch. on the other hand, how a woman could've become topnotch in those days? on a note: only the unique cmd's been actual real captns, while our leg-ones are made-up sibling-pairs mostly. in this reagrd i really see no reason not to do it.

just checked, mine does perform kind of the same as b4, at least for now ^^.... pommern is quite a pick indeed, even more in competetives on t9. some argue for georgia in this regard (did so myself as well), but pommern totally dominated 3vs3 brawls. for me it boils down that this ship simply got all the gimmicks. it can essentially adapt to more situations than most of the other t9 bb's, while being mostly quite a tough nut to crack. its strenghtes as well go beyond secs by far imho. torps, german hydro, 12 "bismarck barrels", the higher pen on the secs (these are still more than viable for getting incapacitations on dd's f.e.)... for me, i luv it. lütjens can be utulized on many ships, true. the skills though to trigger is kind of a thing. mostly f.e. the reload buff i get triggered like in the last few mins of a match (cruiser). the spotting buff often gets eaten up by planes/other ships.(dd; not played a lot with lütjens here). +these skills are not triggered in ranked/cb's... lütjens is only for the skills, while any captn can be taken on the pommern. as well as other ships. indeed i only got lütjens coz there's been no ships to get further and i had the coal on the side. in other words: lütjens is some sugarcoat one got to invest a lot of cxp into, pommern simply is an option.

ship > captn.... pommern might get removed at some point, lütjens rather unlikely. pick him up on the side so to say on next occasion is my tip, pommern is the way to go here imo.

while it's always been a situational and rather painly approach in doubt lol, that holds truth. on other hand backyard snipermeta can enable to get closer to cover and caps, thus impact where it's due. sniping meta does suck hard, but the sec ship i have which suffers most from that is UU gk. may the gap just got wider in terms of being situational, but i can see indicators in both directions. hello. if i got it right in mind it's a range buff for like 0.5km on secbuild with mb mod. up to like, i think, 1.6km? i always asked for those 0.5km at least and yet think it does fit. though, with changes to sniping meta, as i wrote b4 i yet feel the gap for the situations one can bring a sec build to work kinda widenend. those been the 1st days of ifhe sec gk.... 40k to bow on missouri with sole sec power within few mins *sigh*

on usn ones i seem to lose nothing while running a sec build, still works. same goes for germans in regard to former builds. with the buff in sec range i'm trying a secbuild/mb-acc now on scharnhorst (something i never really got to work b4, accmod for mb's is mandatory) and can't complain. my bismarck is full retard secs, in last 3 weeks this came out: Bismarck VIII 2 100% Super Unicum 2 447 Unicum 76 913 1 4 UU gk, 19km mb range: Großer Kurfürst X 5 60% Unicum 1 406 Good 95 550 0.2 4.6 not much of a sample size, but all in all i can't complain in that regard. other secships seem to be in line.

*referring a lulz-test, full reload yammie vs UU+deadeye yammie @HMS_Kilinowski *no mention here of the good players taking it on low concealment bb's, moving closer than the common potato (met a few of those lately)..... roma, thunderer (like an UU skill lol) and such alike. in such hands it becomes even more impacting, even more in regard to the others hanging back bb's and anything inbetween. it's a pure pro skill, while any noob takes it lol (*that's why i call it essentially a noobskill). anyways, as for me this skill stays a noobtrap. i might could utilize it, but still any other skill choices seem superior to me in terms of dynamic choices. sometimes one simply got to brawl on a conqueror so to say. edit: reading it myself again i got to come to the conclusion that it indeed seems a metashaping skill to me. bad players slot it and hang back, while good ones take it on low concealment bb's and utilize it. it kinda screams "thunderer"... it kinda IS a noobtrap, while closeup op-cater-masterrace... this leads me to the design of it, may this is where the nobbish lies lol. it should be gone for good imo, it made sniper bb's the meta (as there's probably more bad than good players in this regard?). who could want that?

eermm, that's been the 1st part of the test?... nvm, i recall other conclusions between the both of us lol... on a note: while going on the deadeye yammie, this should've given me an edge, right? better dispersion, referring to u now, kinda same rof.... we both know our sheet.... but y then u ended up with better hits/more hp in the end? actually, on that test rng wise, i'd put my money on the reload yammie though... and that's what i basically took out there: deadeye, in dynamics, more or less is wasted skillpoints to me. fact being: the real prob here is not the skill itself, the prob is it's impact on match dynamic!... just go into random and look the map. they're all hanging back, xcept for a few stupid or brave.... and that is the prob with deadeye! it lets people think the hit better and harder the more they're far away, which at least to me seems evident in like 80% of nowadays matches. on top, the prob here it gets utilized by good players as well who adjust to it. sit back and click out exactly in the right second. we all know the deadeye citas from nowhere by now. but these citas mostly doesnt turn matches, they more likely will leave ur other classes without the needed close-up support. imho, dat skill needs to go! edit: nvm, as this at most indirectly related to the topic at hand let's discuss this rather in the appropiate thread ;P

in doubt i'll always, at least believing lol, play for win. it means stayin alive and run: so be it. same goes the other way round. sometimes that includes pushing into dd's, sometimes they die, sometimes i do. dd's are also priority target as it's the lowest hp weapons to take out. a full salvo hit on a dd does way more (in general ) than to a cc or bb. it's a tricky game with playing other classes against dd, but it's basically the same the other way round. torps get spotted, radar blocks areas and so on, no talk bout enemy dd's. dd's are important, dont get me wrong. but they're not neceassrily always the matchmakers, no matter which side gets "the better ones"... to assume u lose coz ur dd's die early is nothing but shortsighted. sure, happens all the time, but same goes for turning matches (even without dd's). i kinda read this thread as a distraction from the bb masterrace status quo, while i have no probs at all with dd's atm. i though have with metashaping deadeye madness.... that's way more threadworthy than this imho.

newsflash: if that's ur perception u might doin something wrong! u do not depend on ur dd's. u do depend on urself.... play for the team, that simple. if that means to risk ur hp against a dd, go for it and murder him. coz, if done halfway right (no one always gets do suceed ofc....), he doesnt stand a chance... tldr: when u do depend on ur dd's, u're doin something wrong. 2cts

hmmm.... any dd is only as good, as bad the others wasd is so to say... "respond to dd influence" on a note is kind of a funny title, as all the odds are on his side (xcept concealment). so, i can conclude for myself: dd still is hardest to master, while not necessarily most to gain. now excuse, gotta shrugg off those 2 dd hulls which i just murdered off my fuso
