    Simple question: Austin or Plymouth

    got both, not too many matches on both. austin: ... i'm not sure what yet to think of this. i had some good matches, but on a lot of losses. sometimes i got almost one shotted like 2-3 mins in match. sometimes i open water kited 2 t9 bb's and survived... i luv atlanta, but this thing for sure plays even more tricky. i perceive it as a div boat, it can be great dd supporter. without spotting and cover on the other it's like dancing on the razors edge. and that's where the plymouth comes into play... plymouth: swiss knife that got it all, like a guaranteed dead dd each match. radar/concealment is only like 100m off, so when get spotted just radar and smoke up. maxed out radar is over 50 secs, so whatever did spot u most likely will regret. dpm is not a prob in these scenarios either, the shells do hurt a lot on dd's.... basically true belfast play on t10, just without the ifhe pwn. great dd support ship either, but in doubt this ship can handle odd situations simply better on it's own than the austin imo. plymouth, hands down. 2cts

    aKa: a good player doesn't make a good teamplayer. a good teamplayer not necessarily needs to be a good player. the likeliness for realizing the importance of good teamplay i guess raises though, while realizing what actually is good play. on this point me personally thinks the most important part of teamplay is trust! i not necessarily need to understand or support what single teammates or the fc is doing, i just need to trust them to be able to handle a situtation on their own.... mostly, we all fail hard from time to time. understanding what they're doing in doubt helps here ofc, but is not necessarily needed for good teamplay. so to say, i just need to know that in the end they're good players in sense of good play overall. they just need to know on the other hand, that they only have to call for support to get it, if possible. this possiblity is kinda directly tied to good play lol. so, the ability to read a match (and a map in that regard lol). this also can include to not be able to support, simply coz the match demands splitted up positions. classic here is to already have shots out on a target, or moving to a position, that gets called out just a few secs afterwards by a teammate... or, the other way round, the question by players who not f.e. know me in doubt too good, wth i always turn to the open flank on asashio or baguette dd's (in doubt crossing map at start ) ... the trust simply is not there, so they go sceptic on what they don't know/understand right away. given that, the personalities simply need to fit somehow! the language used, the type and level of communication, is fundamental in this regard. if the team is connected by positive vibes so to say, something beyond the simple act of playing together for a win, the probability of a good communications culture is way higher, than in a team where u have offensive characters screaming at each other. the negative connotations here might more likely will enforce a fundamental negative atmosphere, which in doubt cumulatively goes against the aim of the team itself: winning. simply coz anger always is a good way to get unconcentrated. and an unconcentrated enemy always is easier to beat.... while this in doubt to certain degree can go the other way round as well: so actually strengthening the will to win. i see more potential in positive grounded teams in terms of consistent longterm performance though. if the athmosphere just is toxic all the time one might simply won't stay for long. with a good environment socially on the other hand, one has more time to get used to the core/choir, thus more likely will evovle in teamplay together... long story short: there's so much more to make a good player or even teamplayer than pure stats. even more while the stats in here have to be taken a lot into context to each other, to really give a decent impression of probably performance for a team. but sometimes it's also simply obvious, given that lol. 2cts of pure gossip and brainfarts

    spoken in general, if one has no clue what he buys, he doesnt have a clue about what he is buying. so, i'd advice that one simply to not buy it...

    i'd argue that performance on ships is individual, the question if one can play out it strenghts or not. thus, the player makes the ship, not the ship the player. conclusively any answer here on the matter is highly subjective?

    took it out on ise day for the last rankeds to bronze r1. what i did not found in there: ise .... what i did found though, is kind of a dead dd and a dev-stroke-by-torps (yep, mine ^^) bb each match Atlanta VII 9 77.78% Super Unicum 4 100 Super Unicum 77 043 1.89 4.22

    oh, i know em. from the receiving end in case of öster, just as from the t10 versions myself. 14 matches on smaland and halland combined. played halland a bit in cb's as well some seasons ago, so... it yet of is only a taste, but i got my impression so to say.

    i'm not that familiar with the öster, other than having div mates on it. so, i guess we're on par on that lol. got and luv benham as well, it's just one thing that z does better: range. öster is a flavoured allrounder to me, with the torps not being really good imho, as way to lil dmg 4 my taste (whole line). not easily comparable after all imo. y, i know. what i meant to say rather is, the relation between fletcher and yugumo not really ever changed. one still is the dedicated spotter/torp boat, the other still one of the best allrounders. true, never said else. that's why i gotta think in doubt it's the players, not the ship. it's not like i'm a "true dd unicum", so ship can't be that wrong. may, if my wr drops under 50 within 50 next mathces, i'll think else lol. well, i'd take it ofc ... and kudos for making it look worse and giving them a reason to buff, so finally u'll get it as well lol... on the other hand, there's probably only so much other boats out there where anyone could be a unicum on lol

    the thing with the reason i just let stand, as i see no reason ;). also, i don't agree on better options on t9 for coal in the z's dedicated roll. maybe if one wants to say "overall better dd's", yeah. but the only other true option over it in it's roll imo is the benham. no other dd can dish out torps on this frequency in that number. reload booster yugumo comes close so to say, but 65 secs 10 torps with smoke is something to beat. the factor kicking in with the z, as i said b4, i'm convinced is the type of players obtaining it. i said wehrabos, u collectors. indeed i think many are also a bit confused maybe, as this ship is totally off from the other german dd's, needs a dedicated captn and so on. i don't see how this influences a general relation between allrounders/gunboats and dedicated torpboats in terms a match effectivenss/cap contesting potential. and that's not a new one. stats are sheet, right. but gotta be taken in context. too lil data really there sadly, so in doubt we'll never solve this. in doubt lets agree to disagree on the z44 being a turdboat or not. btw: did u play her?

    i'm not so sure from what i do see there. yes, it does look like it, on the other hand the battle count is rather low. looking at zf6, the dmg is slightly lower, while that got a good of better wr and more avg kills. i assume simply z44 players rather go for capital ships than dd's, within the current meta it's just not a cap contester. looking at yugumo/fletcher, with a sheetload of battles played, with fletcher just being the better cap contester there's similiarities. fletcher here just goes with slightly higher dmg, probably thx to those very good torps. but that's assumption all ofc. another one would be the players going for z44. it's rather a wehraboo boat so to say, not too popular overall throughout the community.... and we all know what german wehraboo players do with german ships *sniff * .... in other words, i dont think the ship itself is the problem here. which gets reflected for me personally(!) with my performance on her yet. btw, as just been said in another thread: z44 is the poor mans benham! 10 torps on 12km range every 65 secs... nothing to complain about.

    dood, i have no prob with u or anyone else in here! but sometimes with statements i read, while i usually tend to adapt my reply to the quality of what i perceive so to say. it's never really personal, it's about something game related. so, if i get onto u with the referrence on ur former nick, it simply is coz i don't see any reflection or proper thought put into what i do perceive while i read certain posts. ...still sometimes unsure if u're serious or trolling on like 50% of ur posts. i guess that's an art in itself

    wellwell, sometimes one gotta say "hello mr venom" i guess ;P...... hyuga only is in my port coz it's a t7 fuso.... i couldn't withstand, even if i wanted. but, besides maybe x-mas crates, i dont plan to get any of the new prems containing "that" line. as harekaze was up when hyuga was out as well, i simply said like "now or never". old prem without the disclaimer, not contained in crates ever. .... they really would've come up with something. but, as gamedesign overall not takes the best direction imo, i'm already curious if i will invest anything i did hold back in half a year. anyways, kudos to making a post i can agree with rofl, not that it would matter to u ;D.....

    aha, very interesting NOT?!..... yay, u got the message, gratz... planes are to be ingame for reason, yuhuu! and now where it is written, after they scrapped a workable and rather close to original design with rts, after they kinda stated themselves like "too much planes in single matches, lets'reeeeework", that it makes sense in any reality to now flood the skies with directly(!) player controlled "full airforce airwings"?! 5 doolittle raids each match so to say lol... it's sooo brilliant to do that in a game which mostly is about surface ships and had a rework that scrapped plane ship interaction into bits lol... NOT. fun fact: within rts these squads on top wouldn't hurt that much, aa was kinda fubar but in a way better shape than now and the cv could've handled it by fighters.... nvm, u obviously neither get what they did with this, nor what this thread is about. hilarious.... so, might just keep on, i just get some

    had the "pHun" to just kite 2 in my fuso. on the final blow joined by a lexi.... "join world of war ships" they said, "torpedo the yamato" they said, "this will make the gameplay more interesting and diverse" they said, "fun and engaging" they said.... at least they don't start to sing
