    u gotta take into account though that forumites rather are dedicated players. for thr epattern, i feel it went like: - introduce events with set base xp or implemented + in f.e. (free) xp - introduce really hillariously farm camos and signals on top (not only "chinese" ones; my bet was that its a joke when those 1st leaked) - flood the market - introduce arsenal with coal, clean start for a new ressource without overboarding farm possibilities - shift obtainment for ships from free xp to coal/steel (salem, jb) possible implications in the long run? --> render freexp as "burn through lines up to t10" and "may pump up commander" ressource --> ....

    as much as i'm may with this or that point mentioned, i'd liked to post a poor reminder about the topic. - cv's get reworked - options will be given for refunding ships topic: refund policy already stated for ships, in particular about what's gonna happen to the commanders of said ships.... and any implications in that regard. neither the process of the rework nor the fact of the rework itself or former experiences (be it good or bad) are imo directly related to the topic. i think there's ngh and better threads for that, thx.

    i actually did start the 10th ranked season for the lulz with it.... wrecked through to r5 like whatnot on it, ranked is like made for the lulz style ;D :). up from there i needed the monti though, but still for some weird reason that build on that ship feels like made for me. it's, when playing out effectively (4 sure not always the case!), just the "came-to-pixels....-middlefinger"

    please, exactly DO NOT do it like that! full conversion to elite commander xp plz, so everyone can choose to keep the captns within the nation, or put the ressource into other lines! ... i really don't need 4-5 high pts captns on ijn, nor do i want them there when i will have scrapped my cv's (rework totally kills the class for me!). simple reset and reassignment is a big nono to me and absoluetly not fits the revamp of a whole branch imo! such format is fine if u alternate lines, but here we see a whole branch killed and fresh reborn. imo that's far from any alternation we yet had.... nvm, just dont mess it up like that plz!!!!!

    on this i simply expect a direct correlation to the refund of a ship: u refund the ship, u get dubs for the permacamo back (given it's the one for dubloons). u don't refund the ship, u gonna get the perma camo in the new iteration no matter what (no option to only refund the camo). that's how i do expect it to come, ofc i could be wrong on this. nevertheless, to me the commander thingie is more important .

    check (xcept for: donwgraded?! elaborate plz ^^...) depending on matches played i might could go along with this, but a flat out 30%/15% + neither seems realistic, nor helpful in regard to fairness. i can't see a lower value for AA ships after the rework. taken as given that the mechanics gonna get reworked/balanced in as well, there simply is none imo. even more considering all the AA buffs over the last years all the cv's (rightfully) complained about and no one gave a damn!..... "a bit" over the line maybe? scratch the whole thing, rework rts or simply remove the whole class, yeah.... won't happen !

    well, that's exactly my point: that NOT is enough imo. i don't need a bunch of useless captns on nations i hold a ton of high pters already after i will have scratched my cv's. the "best solution" in that regard is what forlorn already posted: - full conversion of the captns into elite commander xp, so anyone can pump up a new high pt captn if wanted after rework, or spend it on other lines/captns - skill reset and free reassignment for unique/special commanders (arp/hsf incuded) a simple reset might suffice while changing a line, not while revamping a whole branch!

    ...lol, in doubt it's just bad that u determine the thread to only be posted in by rank 1 players and then still post in the "next season" (which is technically is atm), without having reached it urself ... as for me, i am allowed to, as i reached rank 1 already. but, tbh, only to not be allowed to to post in here, but then though to do it coz of title, i would take a rank-back to r5 ...

    as much i wish i could state else, but i expect f.e. people who celebrate cv rework, even though they might never played em (*over the "manual border", etc.), or stated "there's no way rts can be fixed"... such people i actually expect to step up against whatever would make sense so to say lol. edit: on a sidenote, those seem to be a lot in here, taking all the folks into consideration who came up with such speeches during 1st announcement of cv rework . or be it within WG coz this or that bizzneTz reason.... for now i'm fine with them taking the concerns stated into consideration. it's not yet torch and pitchfork time on this, and i really hope it does not come!

    aye... as for me, i not ask for ways to get rich the short way so to say. all i ask for is that players get back what they did put into, if they choose so. while on my end that's more like ressources than dedication (642 random cv battles)... but those been a lot of ressources 4sure lol (free-xp, elite commander xp and real money/dubloons). i njoyed them from time to time, they've been like a (the hell of expensive lol) "play-something-totally-different" hobby to conclude my collection. imo for more dedicated players (i just want my stuff back so to say and the option to keep my t10's, which we already know won't go together :/...) even a raised up cashback would be appropiate, as they lose out on their main reason to play at all.

    well, with the rework coming i do regret all the effort and ressources i put in mine, that simple. u dont need to understand, as i do know why. and i see no need to explain on why, on top of what i already said. ...while still imo a piece per piece solution would be the most welcome to me, so i could turn my back on that new crap while sustaining my t10 collection. (yeah, bla, still can... read again). .... simple reset? to me that's not acceptable indeed! 4 totally useless ijn captns, up to 6 (3 of em 19pters) i absolutely have no use, need, nor want for in their nations after scrapping the cv's ... as conway ofc not can be omnipresent may someone else can tell us that we're stuck the captns we might not want at all anymore? @Crysantos @Sehales

    aye, i get that. though i find it to be a foul deal (also as it includes the commanders?). imo, on a re-setup on such a scale, i'd like to have a piece per piece solution. all of this hurts former cv players more than enough already, at least give em some cake.

    well, that's a matter of perspective i think. that goes if u see it as a total new research progression, which imo it is not. i already did research the trees and would like to keep the t10's... nvm, i might simply scratch the lowtiers after the programm ran out, but that still leaves the question on the commander xp. i'd be forced to keep all cv's if i want to keep my tier 10's, while i not had the option to scratch ships and commanders i never gonna use again, only because i want to keep the fruits of former progression. foul deal imo.

    only problem which might could occur is some pro who did put a legendary captn on his cv lol. i guess in that case a reset should suffice. full conversion as solution would be my preferred one 4 sure .
