  1. still, to me the outcome of line-design in the end doesnt really bother me. i mean, what u guys did expect from a rework? my lil' ponyhof?!.... if odd tiers in or not... can see people being disappointed, but i really do think it's more like a minor thing in the whole. even more considering that the ships are gonna come back in, providing different playstyles. ...while me personally can't see any reason to not let each carrier choose for themselves. saipan being uptiered i'm fine with as well, it's been op and everyone knows that (i do own it and used it lol). .... the one thing that not is minor imo, simply because it's a one-time-then-gone chance, is the compensation of ressources for players who do not want to go down the new lane. everything else is just a matter of progression and design in the end, while there aint no progression for compensation, as it's a one-time-thing! .... cash refunds for premium carriers (not for me, idc for myself in this regard) .... commander conversion to elite xp ... these are the only really important points to me, as these are the points we won't have any further influence on after the rework (if at all anyways). everything else can be changed anytime (in theory), compensations are now.... #convertcommanderstoelitexp edit: "thread closes on december, 6th"..... yeah

  3. thx, much appreciated ! plz pass on my points as well, as at least to me this really is important. mostly i'm overall satisfied with their way to handle such things yet (xcept 4 things like ship-mas gate ^^), but in this case i yet see they really lack in perspective in regard of commanders/spared them in sense of "ah, its just a rework"... it should be more like "it's a full point zero thing, get it right! this time it's not a simple rework of a line and shuffling some ships"! on a sidenote: i can see the reason for starting in with only half the lines.... lower number of different ships means easier balancing process after implemantation due to less crossrelations like different planes and ship AA. that way down one can balance around the few and then start to add new stuff... indeed i can see the reason players dont like this as well, simply because this approach now makes it a bit look like "let's rush it to simly get fulfilled", while the process rather should be a real intensive and time consuming one in regard to the matter. in my feeling as well the new cv's should come with full lines (even though i gonna scrap mine; may try it in some years lol...)! same goes for working out things like compensations. to cater everything but leave one thing kinda out, it comes around a bit rushed. at least in my perception. 2cts
  4. so, this hit me on the interessting info thread. question to me, as i absolutely think about scrapping like almost the whole of my cv fleet when the rework hits, what is about all the effort we did put into the progression of the commanders? for me this includes 1 captn with 19 pts., 2 with 14 and 1 with 13, so at least 4 in whole. in doubt might 2 more 19pters..... that's a lot of elite commander xp, as like all of em i pushed from 10pts on with elite xp. and i really have no need at all for any of them in other classes (aKa don't need anymore captns in the nations, rather would have put the elite xp on other lines/captns). besides ur opinions on this, i'd really would like to have a statement on this before anything is set in stone, even be it "that's a neg". edit: the progression logic is the wrong way round imho!!! it should be possible the keep the highest and scrap the ones below, not the other way round! this way i have to keep shokaku if i want to hold haku as well, while if i not own the ranger i can hold my midway though. atm it not seems possible to scrap shokaku and keep haku.... as said, imho, that's utter bollocks! edit 2: https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/public-test/cv-rework-changes/ • "All the commanders of aircraft carriers of even tiers retrain and move to new aircraft carriers of even tiers." • "All the commanders of aircraft carriers of odd tiers retrain on the new aircraft carriers at a lower tier and are moved to the Reserve." • "All aircraft carrier commanders reset their skills." • "All the permanent camos of carriers on even tiers are replaced with similar permanent camos with the addition of new aircraft carriers from even tiers.   6. ...could u plz elaborate on why commanders simply get treated like on any line alternation, in regard of all this sheet being a full branch rework? in other words: why, even more in regard of half of the lines get shafted, we'll be sitting on a ton of totally useless and unwanted commanders after the rework, while we may did spend tons of ressources to raise em, what never would've been the case without FORMER cv system (so rts)?.................. thx

    can't count the dd's i chased down in their smoke and deleted them from like 5-2km.... just yesterday had to fight 3 dd's alone on a tirpitz with a bud. we got em all 3, cant remember takin a torphit. if u're scared by dd's on bb u're doin it wrong. same goes the other way round lol, it's the player.... not the class! (while the odds are always with the bb imo... bb main.)

    einfache situation von heute: komme in nem match auf der henri bei nem cap um ne ecke, republic vorher irgendwo hinter ner dicken insel in der nähe gespottet. soweit so gut. ich erwarte, dass er sich verpieselt, machter aber nich. nich so gut :D.... ich komm also um die eckr in nen vermeintlich verlassenen cappoint (dd hab ich vorher mit hilfe rausgeschossen), nur um ca. 10 km von mir entfernt ne repub auf mich zurasen zu sehen.... erste torps gesetzt, anwinkeln, 2/3 health verlieren, HE mit reloadbooster pumpen, torp trifft mit flooding, er repaiert, ich holz weiter und setz die andere seite.... torp trifft front mit flooding.... bybebye BB (mit den letzten paar K helath von ner yammi gejammt) :).... absolut vergleichbare situation wie in nem sturm. henri wins, repub loses... er is mit ca. 4/5 health rein, ich auch ungefähr. edit: das match war ne 170k dmg, 1,45k base xp niederlage. hab überlebt.

    i play bismarck (more often nowadays) and tirpitz regularly (most played ship, 1.2k battles). imo there's absolutely nothing to change about those ships. 2cts edit: gneis doesnt need a buff as well imo...

    hello player, from a lot of more matches than that number....: u not even really considered yet others could be right. u come in and take ur opinion as given. lemme tell ya, on top of a lot of other and better players than me: they're right, u're wrong! do we have more HE spamming these days? sure, could be. does it endanger the über race of bb's? nope, not at all. ... oh, bb main here....

    die henri lebt von ihrer kombi aus wackeln und zuckeln sozusagen.... ich denke wenn du w/s entsprechend anfängts zu nutzen könntest du schon klare verbesserungen erleben. gerade bei der henri is die kombi aus speed, steuern und reaktion enorm effektiv. mit den torparchs und der feuerrate würd ich persönlich die henri jederzeit der hindenburg vorziehen, auch wenn der armor schlechter is, bzw. einfach trolliger. ran, torps halbwegs gut setzten (flodding flag gehört daruf), im treffer mit flooding fall kurzwarten bis die repairparty bei zweiteinschlag durch is, so oder so andere seite setzten. zuerst die zugewandte seite und eindrehen nach möglichkeit etc. bb's haben nachteile wie feuerrate oder turmdrehgeschwindigkeit, alles grössen mit denen man jederzeit arbeiten kann. wie auch immer, ich sehe keinen grund in ner henri im sturmfall wegzulaufen! vielleicht hilft dir ja was von dem was ich geschrieben hab.... für mich funktionierts!

    .... ich lass das ma so stehen... das modul is für mich übrigens nen muss in so ziemlich jedem hightier kreuzer. siehe oben, hilft da schon ungemein, v.a. wenn der speedboost läuft und man schön brav seine w/s tasten quält, zumindest meiner erfahrung nach. ...inwieweit is das nich so ziemlich für jeden anderen kreuzer nen problem, abgesehen vielleicht von der radar variante? tanzen du sollst, türme nur die vorderen und keine ahnung wie gesagt wie du das schiff spielst. auf jeden fall sind gerade in solchen situationen die torps unbezahlbar, wie auch der reload boost. da hat sie vielen anderen kreuzern gegenüber klare vorteile imo. edit: sry, englischer client... - mainarm. mod 1 - eng boost mod 1 (special) - aim sys mod 1 - steer. gears mod 2 - steer. gears mod 3 / LM (im moment drin).... hier is der witz, ich vermisse das steering gears mod 3 überhaupt nich - main batt. mod 3 captn skills: lvl 1: preventive maintenance lvl 2: jack of all trades, experts marksmen, adrenaline rush, last stand lvl 3: superintendent, demolition expert lvl 4: concealment expert tanrung is mit 15.5km natürlich nich der hit, aber in randoms brauch man mit der henri eh keine tarnung, bzw. in stürmen sowieso nich.... am anfang, mit steer. gears mod 3 drin und reichweite statt reload, hatte ich gar keinen lvl 4 captnskill.... #baitboat

    ich weiss ja echt nich wie du den pott spielst oder mit welcher skillung/modulen, aber ich leck mir jedes mal die finger wenn ich nen off bb allein erwische oder ne flanke in nem sturm aufrollen kann.... auf jeden fall komm ich des öfteren nich nur dazu den 2ten torpwerfer auch noch zu nutzen, sondern auch als überlenbender wieder wech zu kommen.... die stärke is übrigens v.a. der speed, auch auf kürzeren distanzen ein nicht zu unterschätzendes werkzeug. auf jeden fall seh ich im ansatz kein problem mit dem schiff, auch nich in nem sturm. ganz im gegenteil, einer der ohnehin für mich stärksten kreuzer wurde mit dem LM und dem reload boost noch zusätzlich gebufft. in meinen augen is die henri in der tat borderline op..... nichstdestotrotz is sie nen kreuzer....
