  2. playstyle like the most similar ship indeed is the henry i think. it's not a cap'n'hold dd, it more is like a bait boat. a max-range harraser, u gotta keep moving. but if u manage to, it's well... i luv it if u comprae to heal-t10's ofc it looks like a t8 ... in comparison to t8's well...

    ....eine häufung festzustellen ist uns hier nich möglich, völlig unabhängig der anzahl der an der diskussion teilnehmenden! dafür gibts dann nämlich den publisher und das reportsystem... sprich: die einzigen die da im anstaz ne übersicht haben können nur die vom support sein! und die sind darauf angewiesen entsprechende reports zu erhalten! wenn wir jetz alle anfangen den kram hier auszubreiten und aus jeder mücke (denn nur darum gehts hier!) nen elefanten zu machen... hmmhhmm, steigert die chancen natürlich ungemein ein im forum subjektiv wahrgenommenes und auch nur dort behandeltes problem zu erfassen... nicht. reporte an den support und wenn denen auffällt, dass es zu einer häufung von was auch immer kommt und das dies dann in einer wie auch immer gearteten art dem spiel schadet, wird der publisher schon tätig werden. oder untergehen. wie auch immer, die übung hier im forum wird werder durchs eine, noch durchs andere sinnvoller...
  4. nope, AA is the downside still. nevertheless, yet i experienced cv's to mostly pick up like every other possible target before me. could be due to the better chances to dodge strikes thx to speed.
  5. ...makes it not more clever imho... i come from a game that kinda got destroyed in terms of pvp with such nonsense... and now we got slingshots in here which render AA pratically useless, no matter the quality of it...

  7. ofc ^^... i do enjoy matches without cv's more! but that's not the cv's fault, it's wg fault and how they implemented rework "AA" and major design flaws like immunity times.... i mean really: IMMUNITY TIMES..... how stupid and desperate has one to be to introduce immunity times into pvp?!?! that alone to me is probably the most stupid thing they did since release. even topping all the horros from zep-gate, x-mas-gate and whoatnot gates!

    ................................ was soll denn bitte wg hinsichtlich des allgemeinen umgangston unternehmen? chat-führerscheine?!.... ma völlig unabhängig davon, dass ich selbst auch schon soclhe liebesbriefe hier bekommen hab, ich ahb sie v.a. auch schon in so ziemlich jedem anderem pvp online spiel mitbekommen oder selbst bekommen... willkommen im internet. screenshot, report und fertig is die kiste. kinder?! aye.... aber ich glaube es is sogar möglich chatnachrichten zu deaktivieren oder?! und falls nich sollte der thread vielleicht lieber nen titel tragen wie "wir brauchen eine option um ungewünschte chatnachrichten komplett abzuschalten".... oder so.... ...keine ahnung wie oft ich schon reported wurde für gutes oder schlechtes spiel. keine ahnung wie oft schon aufgrund der klasse. #vote4close, mmn is das hier so ziemlich einer der besten anwärter auf den "sinnlos-betreut" thread und stärkt so auf anhieb nich unbedingt mein vertrauen in das urteilsvermögen der anwesenden moderatoren ;P . in kurz: doch, es gehört in die frusttherapie, in ne pm an den entsprechenden mod oder einfach nur zum support... in der form hat das im gameplay mmn nix zu suchen!

    and there we go. no matter what one might think of the rework, it surely changed gameplay drastically. for the better? easier now? well, not imo, but that's another discussion! for sure they changed sheet and introduced immunity times as a new balancing factor.... nothing, i mean really: NOTHING can justify such in my book! "balance it accordingly" from a new getgo always contains a good chance to screw the whole thing up, even more so in a grown system! and yoloing cl's really not should be much of a matter if played against on them rightly. "in former times" we had games which didnt change each year and negated any effort one did put in b4. nowadays it's just a gamble if the devs screw up a whole thing within the next year or not (-->sto pvp anyone?!).

    question now would be: what IS better? an intuitive way without too many layers. coz the more layers, the less intuitive the entry and handling could be? imo a way for FPS, not for more complex engagements like between ships. an in depth system, consisting of several logically connected layers. not easy to see through in the 1st place, but kinda appropiate to the object, which are ships with a ton of several attributes (rof, concealment, calibre, armor scheme, etc.)... and i think in this regard that's the most important part of the story, the armor scheme. to make it more intuitive something would have to suffer (most probalby cl's lol) or to get dumbed down in a way cv just got. complexity in this regard is a very good thing imho. while i see the point i do not agree. it wouldn't do better for the quality of the game in the long run, just for the nubs so to say. it already is arcade 4 the record: i absolutely dislike nowadays practice of alternating games on and on anyways. in my world cv-rework with a total change of gameplay never would've happened. it might have gone into "wows2"... after wows would've been finished after the 3rd patch

    i think somehow it's a matter of perspective. class balance could be easily granted if the classes were clearly distinct from each other. i think they're not. there are many hybridly implemented ships. khaba, scharnhorst, the t9 super ca's, etc... in that regard it's ok to me if sometimes the lines start to blurr, as long these shiftings get caught up elsewhere. f.e. with concealment, rof or whatever. makes it more diverse and interesting imo.

    true, good! i tend to disagree. engagements on these ranges are mostly that: a matter of range and positioning. and while it might be true that these dd's fight ca's effectively, the comparison still is off imo. 1 ca shell does a lot more harm to any dd than the other way round. totally disagree! simply coz: what happens now to these ships tif they're bow in or angled? right, in regard to range they gonna get deleted. in that logic they now would get deleted from any angle.... showing broad is often their only chance to survive short ranges engagements and thus more than legit to me. not only dd's and bb's belong in that corner... and while i agree that one has to have a bit of knowledge on ingame mechanics to understand why these things happen, but in logic of those they are intuitive. ofc not if u not take mechanics into regard.

    to minimize the chance of rudder or engine taken out on use of speedboost module (stopping smells like insta-death^^), i do go with PM and LS. seems more worth to me than to know how many ships aiming at me or to get those few secs on cd's on a henry (somehow that's its task, being aimed and shot at). otherwise i run the same build atm.

    is natürlich auch ne variante. anstatt reduziertem feuerkram extrem verbesserte stellzeit. für meinen geschmack wärs ne nummer zuviel (vergleiche khaba mit beiden stellzeitmodulen), da ich nach wie vor oft das dmg con modul auf bb's verbaue. so auch auf der monti vor dem legendärem ;).

    is ja nen synergie effekt ;). da man das normale stellzeitmodul eh nich braucht (-20%), in anbetracht, dass das legendäre mit -30% kommt (hab kurz nachgeschaut ), is es ne verbesserung in jeder hinsicht. bessere stellzeit bei möglichkeit gleichzeitig das dmg con modul einzubauen . auf der andren seite wird man halt leichter sichtbar, aber das kann man ja dann hoffentlich mit stellzeit und reduzierter feuerdauer un so auffangen. fürs protokoll einfach kurz ma mein monti build für randoms (für competitive hab ich halsey mit nem andern build, hier is john doe aufs legendäre getrimmt): http://shipcomrade.com/captcalc/0100000000100010100001000100000119 module: dmg con mod 1 (special upgrade, +40% dauer) dmg con system mod 1 aa guns mod 1 dmg con system mod 2 legendäres modul artillery plotting room mod 2

    in the end it might be a question of playstyle and trial and error. i never epxepcted that upgrade to be any good tbh, until i started to use it on a legendary monti with basic survivability and all bells and whisltes for survival. i came to love it on that build ;). and in regard to only a set ammount of charges 6 secs more of duration might be the difference between burned down or not. the cd itself should be rather low, at least if it follows the oct rev dcp pattern. --> ...............nvm, plz scratch everything i said about the dcp mod might be usable

    i see, rus bb's come with set number of dcp usage (like october revolution)? in that case i guess all one can do is maximizing charges and duration (>dcp special upgrade from armory) and go for a middle way. not too much brwaling, neither sniping. from what i did read about rus bb's i absolutely can live with that! they seem to be rather strong, u say so urself. so that downside is a welcome one to me.

    i think certain dd's still will be viable. to bind the most important spotter, distractor and may dmg dealer on enemy team can be tactically used. in extreme even with a max-range harugumo (maybe accompanied by a mino?!.... yeee, i know ), which in stable cw environments even can hit sometimes lol. last dd's released also rather been good AA ships? harugumo, daring... for the french it seems speed tanking. ofc match dynamic most probably will getting even more stale, or in other words: i expect cappoints to become way less important in early match. i don't like new cv's at all, nor do i njoy the guess to have em in competitive. but with 'lil shift in perspective i feel like it's just changing things, while the change in itself rather is neutral. if then for the better or the worse, we have to decide what we make out of it. in short: i don't like the guess to have cv's in competitves, but i don't think it's the end of dd's/the modes in there! it only, once again, changes how dd's work in cw's. if at all is to be determined by each team on their own imo. i mean.... f.e. we did win and lose matches with (almost... once in a while there's been a wooster in ) full harugumo divs in cw's ...

    wird mac noch unterstützt?! davon ab: tut mir leid, ich weiss hört sich blöd an. aber..... wenn du seit jahren zockst und seit jahren probleme mitm mac hast, solltest du evtl darüber nachdenken dir zum zocken nen pc zu kaufen (häresie!!11!!11!1). leider kann ich dir dahingehend nur von der klugscheisserseite aus "helfen" (hab ich ja grad gemacht), da meine apple-kenntnisse eher mager ausfallen.... anders wäre dies vielleicht, wenn du jetz mitm pc probleme hättest ... nur eine wertfreie(!) info am rande: zocke auf nem bald 11 jahre altem pc system ohne "echte" probleme, abgesehen vielleicht vom obigatorischen ctd äusserst seltenst. viel glück!
