Yeah it is a really boring day at work so I decided to put a good show ;)
-
That is your interpretation and I find it distorting. Fixing means the outcome is intentionally preset. I think you already know what I meant yet I'll repeat again. I say MM decides your win rate because as an average solo player you can be put in a team of good players, maybe 1-2 divisions who actually coordinates/cooperates and you'll win no mater how bad you play. Or be put in a group pf wild monkeys and you'll lose no matter how superb you play. Since MM puts you in that team (intentionally or not) it decides your fate. Edit: We don't know for sure but I think MM tries to even out the ships not the players skill.
-
Let's not mix issues. I don't say it is fixed. That is what the OP says. I say win rate does not necessarily reflect actual skill. Also thanks for confirming my point by bringing division thing into the table. When you are able to handpick your teammates, you do better. Thats what I'm saying
-
Admiral says one only influences %10 of one's winrate and I bargain to lower it to 5%. If that is also your point. Accepted for sure!
-
I'm not seeking an excuse for anything. But yes, It seems I'm not one of the superb players who determines the fate of 23 other players in their match. My stats are average but they could also be pathetic or superb depending on the teams I'm put in. Same as everyone else. You sir, on the other hand, still displaying vanity by denying the fact that one player cannot decide outcome of a battle (except a few statistically insignificant exceptions) fought by 24 players.
-
I agree your statement. I just can't stand people throwing their win rate at each other while discussing about something else. Let's reduce that %10 to %5 and shake hands
-
Oh I see, a %60 win rate player came to defend his uber playership. Yes you are so good you won %60 of your matches singlehandedly. The other 23 players? Well who cares
-
I don't know whether it is intentional or not but it's %100 true that win rate is decided by the MM and definitely doesn't reflect skill. I see people advocating otherwise but I think it's pure vanity to claim that 1 player can change the outcome of a 12 vs 12 battle. No mate! Unfortunately you're not that good. You're not the uber player you think you are. You're just blinded by your own vanity!

I guess that knocks me out then

Is there a way to get that screen now?

Amen to that!

GG wargaming, you just made kill stealing a thing

I sometimes "steal" and sometimes get "robbed" it's only natural... -
3 kills, 2 of them while undetected. Here is the replay http://www.megafileupload.com/qq8Y/20151106_224250_PJSD004-Minekadze-1920_13_OC_new_dawn.wowsreplay

Isn't that the purpose of all forums? I play while I can, otherwise browse forums Edit: Wording...

I think it's an established fact that only a minority of the player base use the forum. And those who do (use the forum), are not the most passionate ones. Keep playing ratio would be much higher among them compared to ignorant masses ;) Edit: Corrected typo that changed the meaning

i don't wanna play a bad ship in order unlocking better one

I agree, if you know how to use her, Furutaka is a beast. Yet she is not half the fun Kuma is ;) -
That's why I said "generally". One with %30 or some with %40 or %45 it doesn't matter. People are likely to quit as long as they stay below %50.
-
A player with %70 win rate means another player with %30 win rate (generally). %30 winner quits the game and WG loses a (potential or actual) customer. MM needs to keep every player around %50 win rate to make everybody happy and continue playing. This is business...

What do you do when you have a bad run?
Kenjiro_ replied to fnord_disc's topic in General Discussion
What a vanity it would be to think otherwise. A player is a puny 1/12th of a team no matter how good or bad he/she is. Your winrate is what WG wants it to be. All other thoughts on this matter are total blasphemy -
BB Mafia strikes again...

I think putting 2 Zuihos in one team and 2 Boques in the other is a bigger failure. A failure I enconter frequently.

About WG EU community work, special events and pricing policy...
Kenjiro_ replied to Vaderan's topic in General Discussion
Is this the right place for discussing regional pricing issue? I live in a poor country that gets special pricing on Steam and that makes premium shop prices even more ridiculous for us in comparison. Minimum wage is €250 and an average engineer gets around €800-900. So €40 means a lot more to us than an average european. With more reasonable prices, WG would make a lot more money from Turkey and other underdevelopped countries. Any words from WG about this? -
Wow my country isn't even on the map

How do I get Tachibana for 2.99?
