Hiya all, Just wanted to share a experience I had in my minekaze. Was having a fun match on my old laptop (Thats were the crappy graphics come from =p). But in the end I survived the match with 1HP left never seen that happen before. Did anyone have this happen to them?

Hmm I honestly cant remember your name wich isn't a suprise as im bad with names XD. but it could be true as I have been playing alot today enjoying my new ship. I still think the torps could use a little upgrade to make em more then ''just an addition''. Its a DD it needs torps to be usefull for something. Blyskawicka is like an allrounder DD not great at anything but decent at everything and thats its weakness it just not doing anything better then the others. For gunboat you have the US for knifefighting distance and soviet for mid/long range. The IJN are the torpninja boats. so were does the Blyskawicka fit in... it needs something going for it. So i still want my faster torpedoes. So its the allrounder its trying to be.

I bought the Blyskawica yesterday and I'm glad I did it. The ship is alot of fun to sail and holds her own in most cases. Only negative thing i found about her is the abyssymal torpedo speed... 57knots is just to slow to hit anything on tier VII. The torpedo range is okayish with 8km it is workable, but i rarely hit anything with them, because there so slow. I can see the BB's just casually turn away from my perfectly placed torps... Would like a speed increase to the torps to make them actually usefull.

I agree its not a bad ship. but I feel the torpedoes aren't cutting it on tier VII. Mainly because she only has 6 with slow speed. Her guns are fine for sure and I enjoy her alot. But look at the Mahan torp range 9,2km 3x4 setup and there fast at 64knots. Blyskawicka has 8km torps 2x3 and speed of 57knots. True its a gunboat and its good at it, but the Mahan is a gunboat too and it has better turrret rotation, faster fire rate and a better turn radius. Even with the idea that a premium shouldn't be better then a upgraded free ship it could use a little improvement. I feel it was like a tier 6,5 too good for 6 and moved to tier 7 without looking at its competition(kiev/Mahan/Hatsuharu. Still feel it would be fair to give its torps 64knots or something.

I dont think it's good enough for tier VII. It doesn't quite compare to the other ships in the tier. I would give it a little buff on torpedos, like 2km extra and maybe few knots extra in speed then it will be fine for the tier. Looks at the other DD's even the Mahan wich is a US DD has longer torp range and more torps in total.
