Although I don't really care if event starts 2 or 5 hours later (it spans over 3 weeks...), you cannot put blame on difficulty with translation... Firstly it is not done by 1 person (conflicting information in various languages) and secondly, if something takes time - you just start to do it earlier. It is worth doing for very useful new signals and camos alone. And with those requirements you are going to get completed at leasts couple of tasks without even trying. They will give you a hefty bonus even on lost game. True, not same as with first win bonus on exceptional game, but still...

In your example - no. They just constitute majority. Asians are most numerous - that doesn't make Europeans not normal, same as heaving blood group B doesn't make you a freak. And we are not talking dining habits (which at least can have 'accepted norm'), but emotions. You are unfortunately talking about your paradigms and those are governed by your own personal experiences - hardly a base for any population wide conclusion... Surgeons feel something because they operate on living patient, not on physical abstract represented by recorded image. And BTW since you brought that topic, read any study about decision making during robotic surgeries and problem of isolation from the patient. I also struggle to find a part where he wrote: 'it is ok to feel less engaged, when they are some strangers'. What I can find is 'it is common to be less engaged... '. I can understand you have your own feelings and emotions and respect them, but you should not be so quick in labeling others according to how you feel. It says more about you, then them.

And what is normal? And according to what? Science struggle to define what is normal in human and animal psychology. You are pretty bold man. Lol, you have any data that shows the quality of gameplay at Tier 10 is worse that it has used to be? Yes, that data is my ability to see and think on my own. And most share my experience regarding randomness of play during weekends, which is not debatable. If you have any doubt about that - make a poll - see for yourself.

Lack of direct comepetition, hence WG can do whatever they want. But to be honest I have no issue with the Hood and the way it is sold. Campaign doesn't require to have one in order to finish it and tasks are very easy. And at the end, camos aquired stay in the Inventory, so one can still enjoy them at any point in the future. They can even wait till the moment Hood hits sales. True it won't be a novelty at that point and meta woulb be different, but it would still be Hood. And if anyone is so desperate to spend ton of money on couple of pixels... Well...
