He is got the point though, especially with CVs part.

Ranked is fine(!) this Season (finally)
Skyllon replied to __Helmut_Kohl__'s topic in General Discussion
Weird... My Ryujo keeps sinking Clevelands and defensive fire doesn't help them that much. This season though, I have the feeling there is way more 'mimimi' than in previous ones. Toxicity towards dd and cv players is appalling. -

Now, once you keep it civil, I can relate to what you are saying. Commemorative flag would indeed be nice and I'd rather have one this time then on St. Patrick's day, or for being "Secret Santa"... That's true. I like history too and this game could've been much more then it is, if this aspect received little more attention. Free ships though, no matter if we like them or not (it is impossible to make happy everyone) are always nice touch. -
am rageing in ranked - from 12 to 10, back down then back up then back down - soooooooo depressing

Don't play when you are angry. It is only going to cloud your judgement, resulting in worse performance. Take a break, come back to game later. If you stuck try playing different ships, or different hours. You will progress eventually. Just treat Ranked as alternative game mode, that gives you different experience. Told you. -

Flag? You want useless and worthless beautification instead of a ship? ahahahahahahahahah....ahahahahah...ahahahahah -
Dunkirk - Operation Dynamo - 0.6.8 || 5 Stars || World of Warships

But nicely designed. To be honest, all of those missions after couple of battles are boring, since they play every time the same and you know what to expect on start. -
I can understand Shiratsuyu torpedo reload booster nerf, it was misplaced in 'gun boat' line to begin with, but without buff to its turret traverse and rof I see no point to play this ship anymore (besides getting to Akizuki with its own set of problems...)
-
T7 offered more variety in terms of ships and ships that - what is most important IMO - are more fun to play.

Feel free to elaborate, dude? I hear you, it is just people do stupid stuff all the time and yeah, not worth being pissed off all the time. On the other hand being pissed is entirely different matter. I guess what I'm trying to say, by being civil you might acomplish more than by opposite. I'd love to see less unremovable ranks too, but you know, persistence will overcome that obstacle easily...

Calling people anything is not going to have desired effect... You can call potato 'potato' as much as you want, but it is not going to become orange... I can understand urge to vent, but if anything you are ruining game for others. Or making them laugh. Either way far from what you want to accomplish. Competitive? Bunch of people who don't know each other, don't coordinate and hardly speak the same language? Ranked is just Randoms 7 vs 7 with additional prizes...

The rest of the skippers might appear in new operations. Since getting 5 stars is very easy, I doubt WG would be cycling the rewards.

Seems to be current theme. Got one too. -
After using it for a while, have to say it feels like a downgrade... Why all emoticons are not accessible by default and specific category has to be chosen in order to find them?
-
I thought previous operation was a good filter of idiocy, but this one is even better...

Curse at R11? Brace yourself for rank 6 and 2...

Sea Star and Assistant achievements could give something.

I don't see how one conflicts with the other. Why would WG willingly remove part of the playerbase? If anything they would be removing their customers. PVE gives people chance to test new ships and train. One could argue, that now and then PVE players make their way to PVP where they have no clue how to play correctly, but there are many PVP exclusive players who can't play, so there is no difference really. -
Lol.

I liked the way I was able to easily tell in which topics I had posted in old forum. Not as readable as the previous incarnation of the forum. Never understood, to be honest, what is the point of changing something that works. Looks as if not much thought had been put in the design process...

My ships are bug free, so that might be the reason... On a serious note though - I test it all the time in Random Battles. Nomatter what you do, battleship will erase you at close range. Angling can make things even worse since it helps with getting penetrations. In your latter post though, you are reffering to 8" guns which are not used on battleships but cruisers.

Nurnberg is a citadel wrapped in paper, you will get one most of the time if RNG doesn't like you, nomatter what you do...

Why that topic was closed due to not constructive?
Skyllon replied to XbodzioXplX's topic in General Discussion
Well, he doesn't say bots would be granted XP/Credits. True, however WG can design missions directed for novice players that are rewarded on completion in some way, thus encouraging them to play/finish them. There could be also some kind of pop up implemented, warning novice players they are shooting torpedoes in direction of the ally. There are plenty of solutions. Yes WG cannot be held responsible for its playerbase, but can be for certain actions they take (or lack of) to solve/counter existing issues. For example - if player on regular basis is afk in battles or gets into one with huge delay, he could be limited to co-op only, unless he resolves the issues. -
I'm strongly in favour of the above suggested suggestion.

As with other operations people just need to grasp what it is about. Should get it though after a while. In Killer Whale most important is to destroy onshore installations as soon as possible, since after doing so exit circle appears and team can start planning the escape. With CV in team, forts are also priority, they have a nasty AA.

Sexiest turret? The one manned by sexy women.
