And even if you go T4 and up, you still end up with 3x Freemiums and at least 5x Mission/Event ships. And besides ARP there are also Dragon ones. And 2 Ranked ones. Edit: I've just counted them and it seems I got: 3x Free XP 5x Mission/Event 2x SC 3x Doubloon (Tech Tree Premiums) All Tier 4 and above.

It doesn't last for entire match, there is time to get ready for it. It allows for different gameplay and change of tactics.
