Make the grid on the map either more transparent or optional. Or just remove it along torpedo indicator. That would be fun. Also make ships more diverse. Faster destroyers, tankier battleships (with short range but very effective weapons), cruisers more versatile, planes more efficient against battleships and cv's and useless against destroyers and cruisers. You know. Like in any other space game... You have the opportunity to test any idea you want. Experiment. Go wild and creative. Guys, you've made new Master of Orion. How difficult it is to incorporate ideas present in the genre for decades... It still can, if WG breaks all conventions existing in regular game.

FTFY, unless you think he won't learn. Like, ever. Tier V is one of the most fun Tiers to play. Tier VIII on the other hand is very hard for destroyers. I'm inclined to say that's the one that ends fun. I think you should give yourself little more time. Spend more time at lower tiers. Tier 3, 4 are real pleasure to play. There is absolutely nowhere written, you need to play high tiers. After all this is just the game and games are supposed to be fun to play. Play tiers you are most comfortable for you and enjoy them! -

Hey mate! As much as we'd like to take credits for those destroyers, both Fushun and Gnevny? (was it Gnevny?) camped in smoke in the very last spotted position, and Kamikaze on your team decided to turn itself into Kaiten... Also both AFKs were not much of the help, so your team started battle with -5 ships... Not fun. Always nice to come across fellow forumite in the battle! -

Only difference is, now you need to cooperate with other players over the rate you sink enemy ships, so enemy team wouldn't run out of points... ...landslide victory averted. Sadly you are right, and whatever balance there was it's gone for quite sometime. There is also issue of radars that WG has no clue how to include in their MM, so one team wouldn't end up with 4 while enemy on 1... -

It is designed so you played mid tiers in-between high tier battles. Or, if you don't want to, you can always get Premium Camo and Premium Account. Bot are not required to be able to afford T10 battles. Games being too short are problematic, I agree, but there is no way to avoid them. And before someone comes up with 'skill based MM', let me say I've been on 45%WR average teams that ROFLstomped 55%WR average teams, so there goes your skill based MM...
