My dear friend Failmu has made a vid in which I totally agree with him. I don't like Yamato in wows whatsoever. Too RNG depending: IF you find a nice spot to parc, IF you have good teamplayers who will help you and IF Jupiter, Venus, Mars, Pluto and all their moons are aligned then this ship will shine. The only thing it's having are awesome guns. That's it. Otherwise it's a non moving, spotted from ISS, non turning, fire attracting, floating citadel, which can be easily taken out by a CV player with 2 braincells active. My Yamato is rusting in peace in port. I can't bring it to my heart to sell it. Because it's one of my "sacred 3" (Bismarck, Arizona). And that's it as well. I've been too many time disappointed in this ship in wows I'm afraid I'll never take it out again. Or tell me what I'm doing wrong. In order to dodge any torps I have to make an appointment for next week's battles for the rudder to even respond. Yes Yama has awesome torp protection. But that doesn't help if 25 torps are coming your way and the bloody rudder won't respond and I'm forced to eat 24 of them. And that's in a nose in situation.... Edit: So I'd rather spend my free XP to... Nothing I guess. Mushashi will not be a port parasite for me.

Lol. I have had my last rank battle of this season today. And I'm afraid ever. This game mode is so not for me. I'm here to have fun, do my utmost best to win and play my role to my best abilities. None of that matters in Ranked battles I have finally discovered.

Don't know OP. There is no way in hell I'll be buying Roma. Duca and Gaylio are my absolute worst miss buys ever. I can't bother to play any Italian ship anymore. And yes, I know. it's me, not the ship. But FFS can there be an achievement for "being the best misser in the match?"

/ rant Lol. Today is not one of them. Total win or hit prohibition. Nearly every game I'm in the radar/ CV/ DD/ tier disadvantage (and this mathematical query should be interpreted as an "and") It seems Greenpeace has taken over my port altogether. I like good battles in which one side is outsmarting/ having better tactics or can play better then the other. I'm getting really tired of RNG being my main opponent. Seriously considering not shooting anymore at all to save ammo. Shooting will yield overpens, shatters, bounces or pen without damage anyway. Red ships "smelling" when I launch a spread, eating citadels by any ship in any angle looking funny at me. Today was my worst wows days ever/ rant The best days I'm having are the ones in which I feel there is some sort of rudimentary teamplay. Either you roll them over or go down as a team. Farming dmg is 1 aspect. I had a match this week in which a Montana had high caliber and conferate. We lost, because that player was only keen on harvesting dmg. I'm not saying it's not important. But winning is more. If he'd (she?) played a tiny bit more careful he'd still have those achievements and we'd have won.

mushashi is nerfed Yamto. Id advice rush to Yama if you're considering that boat.

Grinded to Z-46 myself in the mean time. I think it's a very good ship to play. I'm getting very good results. Only thing I'm seeming incapable is winning... Below are the results of today so far. All losses of course. in 1 and 2 I was first of the team. The third I was 8th. Stumbled upon an ever lasting radar with at least 13 km range. No, I didn't understand it either. Guess I must have missed something. Results aren't any stuff of legend but quite decent I'd say.

IIRC the borrow captains were reset and re-specialized for the T1 cruiser. Maybe's he's lurking there and your original captain is in reserve.

not having much love for Ranked. I'm getting frustrated very easily when playing it. My sign off is 3 losses in a row. I know, from experience in the last seasons ranking up won't be possible anymore. Sadly now it already happened in the beginning. of course I wish all people the best luck continuing Ranked battles.

Though I grant everyone the gifts and I don't envy those peope at all. There is 1 thing I don't understand regarding a treat: either I give to everybody or don't do it at all.

had this problem as well. With me it was caused by Aslain. Downloaded the newest version: directly from the site of Aslain! The auto updater doesn' t pick up the latest version. All is working fine now.

I only used last stand on the French cruisers. Because it got ruddered with nearly every hit. Even hits on the nose.... I can't remember having been ruddered/ engined in the IJN cruisers at all. Surely it must have happened but very rarely. I'd advise Adrenaline rush much more.

I switch every drop: credit -> flags -> cons -> TYL and repeat the process. Usually collect a few and open them up at once. usually to "cheer me up' after a losing spree. (-;

I can't help to think this is a troll post. OP doesn't even have Fuso in his stats.. 66 BB matches out of 1300, most BB's were IJN ones (a dozen with RN) and last played battle was okt 3rd. How the heck can OP draw a conclusion with so little experience and onesighted lines?

Too bad you're leaving because of this. I think detonation is very annoying at worst. it doesn't happen that often and use your deto flags wisely. When f.e. you go out and seal club in Kamikaze _R don't mount them. So what if you get detonated? At least it'll yield you the flags, no real big loss xp/ credit wise and you meet your "quotum" of recieved detonations. At least: that's what I am doing.

I take CE on any captain except my T7+ German BB's. I specced them secondary tank build. I'm not saying it is the optimal build but for me it's working the best.

I had a wonderful moment against a Kii yesterday! Went to him for a brawl in Tirpitz, we actually had a nice gun fight, but I wanted to get closer to finish the job with torps. And I did. I just forgot 1 extremely tiny detail in that plan....

Didn't study your full tree. I'm heavily advocating for the presence of a Dutch ship in wows for ages. I tempt to agree an entire line would be too much. But if WG can make a "Pan Asian" line. Why not a "Pan European" one? There are more nations which rightfully deserve a place in this game and yet an entire line would be over the top (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Spanish, Greek, Polish and Dutch. Just to name a few). It's beyond me why WG is still ignoring that part of the player base.

Oh I think Minotaur is one of the most fun ships in this game. My absolute biggest hobby is still one shotting them in their pathetic smoke, especially aiming at them when smoking up and fire at the second they disappear. Also extremely fun to see them hiding behind their rock for 90% of the game time and blapping them once they finally come from behind it because their match is a lost cause already. Or best of all: rushing them in a DD, seeing their tennis balls bounce off like nothing and feed them a fist full of torps. Most fun ship in the game!

Hipper was a suffering in which I almost quit the German cruiser line entirely. When I lost my way to Roon it took me a month or 2 to actually buy Roon. Hipper? I'd rather call it "Misser" No damage worth mentioning, except in the 1 in a gazillion RNG blessing situations. And great tankiness.. A double citadel by any boat looking funny at you. And that's in the same one in a gazillion situations where RNG is kind, VERY kind to you. I think my Hipper was the absolute biggest "First blood" and/ or "Devastating Strike" donor. There's no way I'll ever spend 1 cent on Eugen because of this. Yes it's looking marvelous but I refuse to go through that mediocre suffering ever again. I didn't really like Yorck as well but at least I got 2 or 3 epic matches in that one. After a getting used to period Roon finally made a "Spock" for me. And I love Hindenburg to death. My stats might be very mediocre but I'm having such a blast in that boat. How to make it function? Use free XP and get to Roon asap.

Bad ship or not. I really wished for Albany since I started wows. Just barely missed the free Albany promo code back then. And now finally it's in the tech tree shop and I bought it. I think it's one of the most good looking ships in this game!

Perhaps yours is. Mine I'd like to request a rename to "Rainbow Warrior." Though that might be an insult to the sheer aggression that Greenpeace ship is compared to my Yamato. I've pretty much gave up on that ship. Shooting overpenning/ bouncing/ pen without dam tennis balls all day had me forced to make my Yamato play it's actual RL role: useless and rusting away. I highly like Kurry and Conqueror. Still not convinced the latter is OP. Yes granted: the stealth is ridiculous. No BB should ever outspot a cruiser. But that's it for me. I know: not much ships can withstand being focused down but especially Conqueror can't. Just take 2 or 3 ships and focus it to the bottom. Oh, but that'll take teamwork. Yep. Until the playerbase has figured that out I'll keep burning everybody alive. I think Montana is a boring "meh" ship. Yes it can have awesome moments but the matches in which I'd like to do something more thrilling like watching my toe nails grow are as equal.
