Pretty much this. Very well explained @wilkatis_LV And I still stand to my POV Conqueror is not OP. I wish Flamu never put up that 1 situation where all the stars were aligned perfectly and where the Montana did misplay: he kept on firing to nothing while being focussed by a invisible HE spammer. He should have stayed in concielment and reposition. When being focussed out C, will melt away like no other ship. B My advice would be to grind the IJN BB line first though. Why? IMO it's the most "consistent" line. Except for the early tiers (3 and 4) I found the the rest of the ships being a runner-up from the former. I also find that line to be the best "allrounders." Decent speed, armor, accuracy but nothing really "amazing spectacular." It'll learn you the best how to tank, angle and finding out BB's are not invulnerable. Though I found the RN BB line a blast to grind out, the ships on different tiers didn't always "follow up" the former. Thus having me make re-invent the wheel several times. That also goes for the USN line. Difference between Colorado and NC is comparable with Clemson vs Des Moines (exaggerating a bit OC but you'll know what I mean). KM line is very depending of your playstyle. I found I had to make a choice between secondary build or primary. That line is IMO also a blast to grind but demands a lot more experience. If you're inexperienced BB player, you'll end up in the boring 35% WR with 10k ave dmg list with the KM.

How would you improve the skill of player base?
Ferry_25 replied to Rautainen_Biisoni's topic in General Discussion
On mid to close range? Aim a hair under the waterline and see what happens then... The water acts as a AP fuser as well: it'll slow them down just that tiny bit so the detonate in the citadel. of course there's always the RNG disclaimer in this. (-; -
Premium cammo's. Feeling a bit ripped off here
Ferry_25 replied to Ferry_25's topic in General Discussion
That's not what I meant at all. My question was if I'm being unreasonable to feel a bit ripped off when I paid for something I could have won as well. And perhaps I am. Just wanted to hear people's thoughts. -

Indeed because I like the ship and I very much like the cammo pattern as well. -
How is your Campaign "The Battle of the North Cape" doing (especially "Stage 5")?
Ferry_25 replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
Hey bro/ sis. I think I figured out the secret of Queen George the Filth... As crazy as it might seem: give as much broadside as possible.... The side armor belt is amazing. The nose/ aft belts are Sh*ite. So let hem overpen them. I have experienced DOY is acting the same. I know my stats are below anything of "legend" But my "filth" stats would back up my claim perfectly. Looking forward to the time DOY will be considered "OP" and being banned. Keep up grinding please.... -

I just finished the last task and won the Duke of York. What an absolute beauty! I also won (with a little wallet help) the arctic cammo! I find it looking so dope! Will be very nice to see it on tears of the desert... I'm sincerely hoping the frost will melt away. Thank you WG. Looking forward to setting sail. Also a nice surprise it actually has a heal. I thought DOY didn't get that consumable. The missions were nice to do as well. Except for stage 5. Not wanting to complain and I understand the mission can be tough. Now we're havind a DD overinfestation and players who go berserk in order to down a BB. This is ARP Nachi 2.0. Please WG: sure, make tough challenges but remove the specific victim ship/ dmg dealt horror. Make it, say, destroy 40 ships ordeal 1M dmg f.e. So nobody is "safe" or being overfocussed like I mentioned earlier. I found stage 5 to be bluntly tedious to say the least. -
I think you got it. G was a "learn to lover" for me as well. The tier 7-10 German BB's are working the best when secondary specced for me. The "bonus" of secondary captain spec (AFT, BFT) is the added AA values.

Lol. I am not complaining. Still a satisfied customer. Loving this game and all the efforts from WG to death. IMO they are rewarding the loyal players as much as the newbies or returning players equally.

Like the thought my friend. Hope it'll be possible.

My friend. Your words are the most beautiful I've ever heard/ read. Thank you so much. Indeed I'll raise my glass to both of them. In fact I'm pretty sure, if there's a after manifestation, they'll raise theirs to us. Namaste my friend!

OK. I mentioned this issue a lot of times. i think you deserve to hear my story. My father was my childhood hero. He gave me so much love and insight on how the world is working. I have no brothers/ sisters. So I was forced to make new friends wherever we went on vacation. Weren't there any kids around he'd "played" the role of my brother. "Ferry, shall we ask mom if we can have an icecream?" Of course I knew he'd have to go before me. That's the natural cause of things that should happen. No parent should outlive his/ her child. But not that soon. I was studying medicines when he got ill. It started with a malignancy on his kidney. Very well treatable with surgery. I send him to his GP, who send him to the urologist. We thought he'd been saved after surgery. Yes, very heavy surgery and losing a kidney is hard but survivable. Not long after that he was complaining about food not passing through. When he finally got his examination, which I was present because he asked me to. He had a childhood trauma of gastroscopy (putting a sope through his throat and examining his intestines) I cried my eyes out when I saw the lesions... In my naivety I asked my future colleague "can those be of gastric acid?" He said: no way in hell. When I saw the application for the laboratory the question for the pathologist was: what kind of cancer am I looking at? When the nurse saw I saw that, she said: all the best of luck... I got back to the waiting room where my mom was. And I had to tell her... Because she asked my. "What will you tell dad, Ferry?" I said: nothing. Unless he is asking me directly. And FFS he did. When??? On their marriage anniversary. I'm still to this day punishing myself whether I should have lied or what I did: tell him the truth. Not so long story even shorter: heavy surgery, harmfull chemotherapy which made him lose his feeling in his feet, lost him his strength and making him into a ghost of what he was in his manifestation. When he eventually died his last word were "Ferry, I am so proud of you." I was devastated for nearly a year. And if you read my words: I still am. And I'm talking about 1999... So yeah, that's the main reason I'm having very much trouble associating horrible diseases with a computer game. And I know I'm not the only one with a sad story. I humbly ask not to do this anymore. yes call people idiots of whatever but please: wishing them cancer even if they screw up badly in a computer game? That's tearing up barely healed and infected wounds for me my friends. And I know from my life experience and my line of work as a physician as well. Edit: crying my eyes out now like at may 6th 1999 at 1805....
-
OK OP. no need to wish people the disease from which I saw my father whither and die on in agony with for a mere computer game. Also I think the missions have been vastly improved in the past time. Granted the last stage of north cape is a bit of a "B" and it could be tweaked: making it as hard but without the over focussing of BB's Destroy 20 ships instead of 10 BB's will be equally a tough challenge. But you make me sick to my stomach to with your post. (My dad died of stomach cancer, should you want to know).

If I could I would transfer mine to you bro. I liked the ARP series and also the missions. As well as being a collector (190 ships in port and counting) I also enjoyed collecting all ARP ships. But I know there are bigger Anime fans than I am. I actually never play the ARP ships to make a confession. Even though I have a 16 points Hiei (out of 3 or 4, with whom I seem to be stuck in port for eternity and IMO the absolute worst crap "s" character in the whole movie line) which I could train to 19 points and thus harvesting free captain XP with. Heck I'd wish I'd won a 16 points captain from the "Carnival doja" girl. I'd kicked her on my Yamato right away! Edit: oh. On topic. I've decided to focus on the XP. But having 2/10 BB's already. And I have a gut feeling I'll manage that 90k dmg with torps in 1 battle as well. NOT complaining and highly appreciating the chance to win a free premium ship, so no bad word from me for that and I will try my utmost best to win it but should I miss DOY it wouldn't be the end of the world for me. -
Let iChase illustrate why I quit the game yesterday.

OP. You're a mystery for me. On the portal it's showing you joined wows on 01-01-2018... Now you already have 2.5 k battles? Also checked your stats.. I KNOW: it's only telling part of the whole story but yours make look mine like Failmu.... Being the math moron around this forum even I cannot wrap my brains around your numbers. My gut feeling is saying you are the king troll though. -
The most BS citadel that made me ragesell the CM
Ferry_25 replied to Tekacko's topic in General Discussion
Well at least I heard sound your ship was actually hit. I very regularly get treated by the cholera sound relievin me of half my HP when all I hear are splashes... -

Ah I see. Thanks. Well at least for @urr027 the torpedo mission should be a piece of cake with his Belfast... Sauce: -
I can only agree with the good looks! I've written it elsewhere: it's me, not the ship. But I can't make it to function. I'm very good in missing shots (even for T5 dispersion standards), I know the ship is supposed to be fast and agile. Somehow for me it's feeling as fast and agile as Yamato does. And nearly every single punch I take is a citadel (in the best cases)...

Ferry_25 replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
Hmm... Am I the only one having an ARP Nachi deja-vu? For those who don't know: ARP Nachi was a ship we could win. Challenge was "destroy 20 Russian ships." So nobody took out a Russian ship in that period because they would have a very hard time. I thought we'd overcame this by making a "destroy x ships." So nobody would be "safe" or "overfocussed." I intent to focus on the XP missions. Using a BB. It never hurts to get some intensive practise! Oh: stage 1. Does that have to be a RN DD? -
Granted. all VERY valid arguments. Only I don't mind at all being uptiered: all the more income for me. Being bottom tier is really the quickest way to grind ships IMO. Just hit a top tier boat a couple of times and you'll get the best WG spread of love possible in XP and credits. Also it's a huge amount of fun to totally wreck a Yamato in your Tirpitz/ Bismark. I can tell you from direct experience....
-
I will keep this in mind OP... Duca and Giullio were my 2 mis buys ever. Yes it's me, not the ship. But both I can't make to function even if my life would depend on it. But this I didn't think about...

I don't care which tier but IMO there is global consensus there should be at least 1 Dutch ship present in wows. Come on WG! We get it: the IJN, USN, Russian, German and pan Asian lines. That's "global" coverage for your fan base. You managed a Pan Asian line! Why not an Pan European line? Enough countries that played a significant role in your time frame of wows, and we understand a complete line for those countries would be too much. F.e. Poland (Blys), Norway, Denmark, Greece, Turkey, Spain, Italy to name a few (no offense to people who I might forget, you get the point). This isn't WOT. IMO the naval warfare was far more "fluent" as was the "country warfare." Please bring wows to a next lvl of awesomeness and introduce more of those "pan lines."

What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?
Ferry_25 replied to Hanszeehock's topic in General Discussion
I did so not feel like playing today so I didn't. Really feels good! Love wows, don't get me wrong. But not today my friends! -
Parallel on topic.. i'm curious who will actually actively grind for Musashi? I know I'm not. Don't likeYamato play, so why persue a nerfed Yamato? If I win it, fine. But I won't be chasing it like I did Mighty Mo.... Still keeping captain Cheerful on that ship. Heck, even watched the movie (and the sequel).
