Hey, that was a very deeply and thoroughly thought strategy. Their whole team was at C and we lured them one by one into our trap. There was no point into rushing them like an idiot. So I rushed them like an idiot. Giving the back guard the chance to finish them one by one. It was an awesome match bro/ sis!

+1 from me for asking advice before flaming on the forum. Most answers are given. One more possibility: an enemy with Target acquisition got real close. He/She'll spot you before you do him. Getting into a cap, smoke and lay stationary has indeed become obsolete about a year ago. Laying still in smoke is as big of a taboo as showing broadside towards a BB. Always keep "wiggling" for and aft. Even when smoke pewpewing: good players will pinpoint you and blind shoot you through your gun flames. On the move makes it much harder to hit you. But beware not to make the potatoe dumb *ss mistake I made: forgetting you're going backwards, keep TV-ing and gently glide out of your own smoke screen..... That was a very swift lesson I learned. IIRC I was exactly having the speed of 0 when I became literally dead in the water when I tried to speed back into my cloud.

Does anyone know if it's improving deceleration as well? That can be as important as getting the hell out of here.

Mwah. It's nothing very specific. I can only assume one won't be kicked out of the fav gametype because of 1 early match leave, which can have lots of explanations or an accidental driveby shooting on an ally while TV-ing. To me it's sounding very patronizing.

Got pink once in a CV. Accidentally TK-ed an ally. I haven't dared touch a CV since then. But intentional suicide I've never encountered with CV players.

Mine is 6. I know my stats show 7 with an Amagi match, but that wasn't my work. Was from a wows friend who wanted to show me how this game is played. That number is stinging my eye ever since!

OP. There's a difference between pushing and rushing in like an idiot. You play FdG: that's not the first ship of choice to go cap with in early match. Even secondary specced you'll be focussed out in no time. Seeing the XP line up I see your team had the DD disadvantage. I'm guessing the reds quickly capped 3 or 4 caps, dug in and farmed you all. We all have those landslide matches. Both on receiving or delivering end. Boring AF I totally agree with you there.

Just played a Missouri battle. Just one so nothing conclusive. I didn't notice any difference this game. Very decent one.

Your poll is indeed completely biased. Q 1 is rhetorical. Of course it's giving an advantage over non users. But so do other approved mods. Q2 is a matter of opinion and how you're interpreting the game rules. Trying to see the pic picture: I think this is a fuss over nothing. I'm using the mod and believe me it's hardly any help. Even zoomed in the turnover is very crude (the less zoomed in, the more crude it's getting). I can be handy to point at a last position marker of a smoked up ship. And it's only somewhat helping if that players stays stationary in the smoke. Now whoever is still doing that, deserves to be punished for it. I find smoke shooting at barrel flames with spotter way more reliable than using the wretched cross. Oh and the second somewhat helping-ish situation is in a cyclone when a red is spotted by an ally but you can't render him yet. And again: one spasm remotely directed to your WASD keys will completely negate the cross "bonus."

Yep it's clan wars. Each clan randomly put against another. That simple. I'm always trying to learn from vastly better teams so next time I am better and hopefully our team. Maybe it's good to know the higher the level difference the less points you lose when being "uptiered." Whining here is pointless. When being ROFL stomped: ask feedback from the winners. Again, OP. Those overpens were unlucky dice rolls. Same as those fires: lucky dice for the Nelson player. Unlucky for you. There are games that Nelson player can't plant a fire no matter what and you score citadels by looking funny at him.

OP. As a matter of fact I'm not chasing the Aigle at all. Now I don't absolutely want to sound ungrateful to WG for giving a chance to win a free premium ship. Not at all. However the last time I burned myself out to achieve one was with the Vampire mission. Played the freaking ship one time and never again. having a real hard time to start a Random battle for weeks now: really got bored to death with the landslide victories/ defeats which plagued this wonderful games for more than 1.5 years now I can't muster up the energy to play the mission for a ship which I already saw sucks in battle. IFHE doesn't work properly in it and I must show full BS to shoot all the guns. Again: not to sound ungrateful but thanks but no thanks. I'll pass on this one. Should I win it by any freak chance: very nice. But I won't spend one J of energy in getting it.

Seeing your input on the Forum I beg to differ. I actually met Blogis twice in combat. Both were ROFL stomps, on my recieving end. But It'll be the same I'm sure if I ever should confront you. I know I've been very skeptical about CV's on the Forum. But that's just because there are so extremely many noobs playing the most vital ship ingame (CV). But seeing players like you and Blogis in action it'll make my jaw drop to my keyboard and say "thank you for dropping the sh*t out of me. I deserved nothing less." But the message underneath it: I know I have extremely, vastly, hilarious little xp in CV play. However, the few games I had in it, I can say I didn't do too bad. I made 1 huge screw up in a CV. With all the best intentions I TK-ed an ally. He made the most absurd turn, right into my torp drop while I was trying to save his @ss. I frantically tried to abort the drop but it was too late. He couldn't repair the flooding dmg so it reflected to me. I got killed in the process. So it punished me twice for 1 flaw. I haven't dared touch a CV since then.... And "then" being 1 tot 1.5 year ago.... What's your and @xXx_Blogis_xXx advice? Try again or STFU, stick to the non CV's and move on? Really; not to sound pathetic: I know I screwed up in the other classes plenty. But this incident has made me scare the living daylights out of me playing a CV. Made me feel like I'm the biggest noob ever alive. In all the other "screw ups" I got only punished once. Rightfully and no comment for that. 4 more CW victories. That makes 8 in a row. Man! Our clan is making such huge progress! We made it to Storm II. I know: not the to elite but we're pushing on. I'm loving CW more and more. The team effort is so much more fun for me!
