I feel for you OP. I've met the "dreaded as*sahi**ole" in the auto mutilation game mode called Ranked battles in a BB. It was an entire joke. Hitting the WASD key once every 1 minute does the trick. This ship would IMO shine in the best map of this game: Ocean. But some utterly retarded brain @ Cyprus decided to make that map extremely rare. While IMO it's the best map in wows: the only one which actually forces to play naval tactics instead of playing Duke [edited]-em with a ship around you behind an island....

Using a mod which I can see every ship, being available or not, so I'm not sure in the "vanilla modus." But IIRC: in the vanilla you can see ships which you don't have but are available. There you can pop up combat specifics and there's clearly pointed out the torps can only hit CV's or BB's. Parallel on topic: WG could you please kill the torpedo alert when playing a specific torpedo invulnerable ship? I had about 3 near heart attacks today playing a DD....

Though a very good idea I don't expect to get a reasonable answer here. I have and have been TK-ed in complete sensory overload situations where in the total heat of the moment the other player or me just overlooked the other in a perfectly reasonable way. That other player and me exhausted in apologies. Heck in my 8.2k matches I've been really deliberately TK-ed 3 or 4 times (IIRC)? And yes I must admit I did it once or twice myself. Not proud of it. Not at all. And in those cases I truly deserved the punishment. Heck: even a more severe one would be in order. My strong suggestion would indeed be to implement a "forgive" function. Something like: "you have been TK-ed or got x amount of team dmg (which will exclude the accidental bumbs or scrapings). Do you "forgive him/ her?" Yes there's going to be trolling there as well but like said: it's my responsibility so if an ally doesn't "forgive " me despite apologies, I'll have to suffer the consequences. But I don't believe that'll happen a lot. The deliberate TK trolls are so extremely rare in my experience. But like I said: not expecting a reasonable answer regarding this matter here...

Frankly I can't remember. My season is over already. I'm here to have fun, not to get humiliated over and over. I know I can't win them all but this is pure torture. But it was a nice battle and I'm truly glad you proven me wrong with my POV against RN cruisers: you gave me a refreshing beating. Since you've been butchered down with your whine threat I'll not add up to it. My advice; you might want to start another one, asking how to deal with smoke screens. Something like: "I'm fed up with smoke shooters. What am I doing wrong and how can I improve?" Just my advice to you. You'll see you'll get much nicer answers then. Seeing your stats I'd say you're not half bad in this game. Stop yelling and start being humble, ask and get better in the process, OP...

Oh thanks for adding up to my doubt! Hahahaha! I'm really at a loss for the ship. On one hand it seems like a "1 trick situational pony." I saw the twitch where Flamu tested it the first time. It was a massacre. But IMO only because nobody had a clue about this ship. Now the reload is short of 2 minutes. Which can be brought down. Let's say for argument's sake to 90 seconds. They also need to travel the distance so a long shot spread can be expected to arrive in app the 4th minute. When playing a BB and I stay stationary/ going in a straight line that long I don't deserve any better. Also, correct me if I'm wrong: the longer the distance the more spread out the torps will be. So on the move, WASD-ing it surely can't be that hard to dodge or mitigate the dmg, can it? Taking one (or 2) isn't the end of the world? On the other hand: I think the ship will do force more teamplay: BB's following the DD's so pre emptive scouting is in order. Torps are once detected, always detected. I'll keep reading the posts more before making up my mind. Thanks for all the feedback so far.

No he (she?) did travel 21km. So no AFK. Unless hitting "W"4 times and then go away but I don't believe one can survive a 21 km trip that way. Also don't believe he hit "S" and went AFK: he did spot 4 ships. So it might have been a "not proven" battle. But not AFK. I quit matches in which I was destroyed as well without issues. My only explanation I can think of OP hit the quit button the second he got blown up, perhaps having a ms of delay to the server to process his destruction. A bit the same principle as used to happen sometimes in the past: completing a mission but not getting the reward right away. So when destroyed I'll wait a couple of seconds before leaving. I usually do that to see how the match is going. And when I see good play I'll stick around to play "admiral" and give advice: 4 eyes are seeing more than 2. That way I can still contribute to the match. Edit: I just now see OP launched torpedo's as well. So that's proof enough he wasn't AFK. So just a very bad match for him (seen it, been there, done it OP. So don't worry) but no reason to give him a warning/ penalty.

Yes you can. Though very rare they do sometimes drop. Had one, in a regular container, a few days ago. Was too late to screencap it so I hope you'll take my word for it. And IIRC sometimes there are missions in which you can win a slot. OP: they can indeed only be purchased by doubloons otherwise. Sometimes they get on sale. If you are like me: an insane collector, that'd be a good time to purchase them. But I'd advice you to sell the ships for now: you're indeed new to the game. You can always buy them back should you decide to collect ships. It is indeed a F2P game but they must make their buck somewhere so I can relate to charging costs for certain things. Best investment you can make, should you want it OC, is buying some premium account time.

Talking from my own perspective. I highly liked the US cruiser grind. Until Pepsi. From that, for me, abomination things got downhill exponentially. IIRC it took be about a year and a half to whip myself through Baltiless to Des Citadenes. Don't start: MY Des Moines is a floating citadel with automated tennis ball shooters. So; indeed a "blast" for me as well. Only on the absolute opposite POV as you mean (I guess), OP. I truly can't wait for the US cruiser split NOT to play them at all....

No. For nearly 2 years I'm stubbornly assuming it's me. Seeing before the 5th minute where the match will end. Every time. It's pure coincidence.

All of the above. It is the biggest RNG miracle in this game. You happen to exactly hit a AA machine guns half the size of your shell, penetrate the galley or shoot through a porthole, the shell doesn't meet anything in the shop and it exists at the porthole on the other side. Sounds like bs? Good because that's exactly what I feel about the pen with no damage hit. Bounce, shatter, missing: I get that. 0 DMG. I just can't wrap my brain around a 0 dmg pen hit! Yes a dud: but ffs give me at least half overpen DMG! This bug is the one getting me the most next to the cholera attack sound of getting a hard hit.

BB, ca: KM. DD:US. I am assuming your poll is for randoms. For me the BB, CA choice is for me they are the best all-rounders. DD US for the same reason. Though I highly liked my KM DD grind, it abruptly stopped at T9. I literally lost my way to Z52. Having a WR of 0% in the latter I don't dare to touch that abomination ever again. CV choice was mandatory. I don't care for that class so I just clicked something.

+10 if I could OP. I find it one of the most annoying thing in-game. For me it's sounding like a cholera colony having a diarrhea attack all together.
