I really like the map too. Although it sometimes seems particular ships are bound to that map. Other ships to other maps for that matter. Am I the only 1 having that feeling? I do cherish 1 dream for 2 brothers though: all ships head straight to the chanal and we all fight it out there! A nice 5 minute duration battle in which all hell breaks lose!!

Deto's suck IMO. But it's not that common. I ate 28 detonations in 3.6 k matches. Most often in DD's. Quite often it was actually the mercy shot when my ship was @ 100 hp in the first place, so those flags were actually hilarious. Got 1 deto in Impregnator and 1 in a cruiser. Just swear a few curses and move on to the next game. I have never heard of a CV being detonated. Does that occur? (those ships too had their stacks of bombs and torpedo's didn't they?)

Nothing. Problem was lying with the inter-PC-chair region. A.k.a. me! I was furiously frustrated (some different F&F ) after an aggrevating match.

Hey OP. don't give up. There's a quite shockingly but easy rule: there are days in which you are prohibited to win. No matter what you do, how good you try you simply may not win. In those days the reds all have Angelina controlling their guns, Neo at the helm, Magneto warding off your shells and X-wing fighters capable of FTL jumps straight to your torp and bomberplanes. It happens. To all of us I guarantee you. If scarficing a virgin, goat or even goatvirgin doesn't help, just use the right top X hack, call it a day and start over the other day. Keep going on doesn't help. It's just "1 of those days." (like today for me (-;).

Just did my last T9 battle for this month.... Same old crap. Stick it where the sun doesn't shine for all I care.

You know.... I've been thinking in this matter (give me a like for that activity alone please. Ferry can THINK!! ). There's always that 1 ship in a line in which you suck. But an entire line? Can all the T4+ USN cruisers be that bad? It must be me. I guess I've not listened to my own advice to new players: start low, go slow. I've been grinding too fast. Granted: St Louis put me on the "wrong path." That ship acts like a BB (it was historically classified as a BB AFAIK). So armor angling and taking pounderings obviously doesn't work anymore from Phoenix on. I'm doing fairly well in Murmansk. And it can't be that different from an Omaha. So... Since I'm a shipkeeper anyway (I still have all the ships), it's back to basics for Ferry. I'll "start over" with Phoenix and up. Going on untill the captains are at least 10 points. May take a long while and I won't be playing those ships solely. But I cannot believe I am that stupid to not make any ship function more or less in an entire line.... If you'd like, hit me a reply and I'll keep you posted in my "back to Kindergarden" progress...

I'm not using it... Detected icon = incoming for me. In 99.9% of the cases I'm right. So I now have 3 skills for free!

I'm curious to your impressions. With this 1 I'm not sure. From what I've seen it seems to be a very situation ship to play.

Yeah. Great. I am shipkeeper and have 105 ships now. Now that 100 doub's and discount really helped my out... I cannot grasp the idea why BOS is being replaced by SA. And for that matter why SA has been pulled of and put on standard is beyond me either. SA is IMO useless in a CV (which is IMO useless as well, but that's my opinion).... So I didn't have SA on those ships in the first place. With some patches ago with the gun-nerf we got a full captain reset. OK, it was a PIA (pain the [edited] to reconfig all my captains. But it seemed fair. This "hobo tip" has given me the feeling of being ripped off. A lot of ships still have BOS. And I don't want that skill! See if I care if I'm burning for 50 or 48 seconds...In the case of flooding: you're screwed up anyway if you can't DC that. And some decent player will anticipate for that! After a battle or 2 you know when to save your DC when you have to eat a torpspread! In the relevant ships I have prem DCP1 and high alert! I rather have had BFT as standard! Or a full reset to be fair.

DON'T check your yokosuka port. You will definitely NOT find them there.

We've been through this in numerous dicussions. I don't understand it either and we never got a clear answer to that... IMO being TK-ed (whether by accident or not) should give the "victim" full compensation. Even if you were almost dead anyway. I wouldn't mind if I was the "perp" Though it's taboo to say I think that might be a good first warning before turning someone pink right away.

I am amazed there's not another "I can't see my Arp [edited] ship in port... I now have a private harem of 3 (THREE) Hiei's!! Actually the least sexy character in the whole ARP movie series IMO. But hey! I have them! Togehter with 5 Kongo's and 4 Myoko's!! I'm a happy sailor!! (((-;

If i would be able to upload pics (STILL don't know how) I have a screenshot of a battle which exactly makes my point and gives me the feeling of "shove this game to where the sun doesn't shine" Cruiser, T8 (Chappy) in this case: I held the line together with my div. We won, kept the BB's busy so our DD's could cap out. The rest of our BB's camped at the side of the map. I did a suicide run on a NC. Got wrecked in the process (1 spilt second before I could launch torps). Good shooting from the NC. That's not the point. But is was a victory game. 45 dmge. 1 kill, 113 hits. Profit of -23k. With prem account. OK, my dmg was on BB's. My point here: I don't expect +500k profit. But this?? Why the [edited] should I even bother? Why not just get back to port right away??? If anyone can explain how to upload pics I'm happy to do so. edit: made up with the credit loss quite easily with my "Dexter serial killer ship" aka Tirpitz. My point is this lousy credit distrubution which is actually getting to me... Doing my utmost best and get punished? Frankly I start to dislike Wow's more and more because of this.

Mwah. Not the worst map for me. I honously like the North map (the 1 where the cyclones first started). That's a camp site by far. sailing right and left in my BB forever. Just when you see a nice cruiser, their Romulan cloaking device kicks in. When the battle is finally starting to warm up, the cyclone comes and we're capped out. The side with the most DD's or Jap DD's wins. (In my case: the other side). speaking of which: I haven't been on ocean for centuries now. Am I the only 1?

IMO MM has greatly improved in the last patches. Quite balanced matches. I see lineups every direction. In roughly 33% of the cases I'm low, mid or toptier. Only matches that suck are when you're the only 1 bottom tier ship. They could work a bit on distribution in MM. I'd rather wait in queue for another minute for that.

Eeerrr. In general with BB's I do recognize this.... At least: when I'm shooting with a BB at a full BS cruiser at point blank I start to cheer when I do the 1030 overpen damage. It usually yields me the "pen ribbons, but no damage, neh neh neh, neeeh!!!" (as I have been explained: that's because I hit a "no damage zone" Boy: are all red cruisers built out of these "zones"?) or blunt riqs. The other way around I get -90% shot. And I don't even have to lay broadside for that in a cruiser. A shot, anywhere whitin the 9 squares surrounding me is giving that result. So not particularly with the Tirp.

Ok thanks Admiral for the feedback. I'm afraid you're still not getting my point. It's not about making tons of credits or winning every time. My stats are clearly visible for everybody (IMO a bit pitifull if people are hiding them but that's another matter). As you all can clearly see I'm in the below average - average range. That means my performance is as comparable with the vast majority of the players. Statistics dictate that. Even with my dyscalculia I understand. So my guess is I'm speaking for the vast majority of the people. Do you know how a battle in t9-10 looks like? F.e. my Kangeroo. I head to the cap and take it. I keep scouting and try torpedo's. But since they've equiped those torps with St Louis engines a hit is very unlikely. Get into a knife fight with a Benson and doing some return fire and actually get away from him. In the end my score is like 2 caps, 10000 damage from shells and 1 Biblical miracle torp hit. Hardly any damage taken. Or in my Ibuki. The thing is: I don't have Angelina Jolie controling my guns, so I can't curve shells around an island. Neither do I have Agent Smith at the helm or do I have FTL sideway jumpdevice. My "damage free zones" which you pointed out in the other thread: I found them! They are installed on the enemy ship. Doding for me is steering right and left, I don't have the "anchor sideways handbreak option" from "battleships." And dodging is going ok-ish. I see a lot of shells splash around me. But God forbid: if a shell even slightly touches the tip of my rear mast, it's a double citadel. (in the best case). And I'm not complaining. It's just the circumstances I play in. My point: given that struggle, I do my best as hard as I can. Doing some return damage, capping something, and shooting down a plane or 2. If for some miracle I survive the battle and at least did something my reward is a -40k profit. For me that's so [edited] demotivating! I don't feel like to give it a try again. And yeah. I have the Tirpitz and I'm soing fine with it (given my skillset). And uptil T8 I don't have any trouble making profit. Yes, lose sometimes but that's quite quickly overcome. All I'm asking is: can there be a way for me "Gorki-player" who tries his best be a way I can too enjoy the t9-10 games?? I'm not afraid something's at stake. I'll probably never be in the 300 dmg range. And I don't care. I just want a "waistress tip" for my [edited] effort! So i can have the feeling of: "wow, that was a mediocre battle. I''m last in the ranking list. But I did what I could. At least I didn't make a credit loss. OK, I'll try again!" That way the aces can keep shining and making fantastic YT movies on my expense. Cool! Love to watch them. I'll stay a satisfied costumor and am more inclined to buy a wonderful premship. Is this really that hard to understand/ comprehend? Or am I just talking BS now?? And should I go back to tetris? Fine by me. Lots of other places to put my RL cash....

Oh come on. You just don't get my point. It's not the point you can make a lot of silver in that and that tier. That's perfectly fine by me. I'm not complaining about that. My point is I am a mediocre lowlife considering my gameplay. I shine at other factors (let's compare our paychecks for the sake of fun (learn to earn money I'd say)). I'll never ever reach "Flammu, Aeroon, Ichase levels" Neither do I care or do I want to. But I'm a lowlife with a wallet. I kicked in cash to make it little bit easier for myself. Why? Because I highly like this game. I see the love, beautym sense of humor and effort they put into this. And i have played Shigetsu's situations over and over. In his case he did SOMETHING. He could have been given 5k for the trouble. 15 in Premium. I bet he wouldn't have posted this entry if that were the case. Now, I'v e been around for nearly a year and I have seen the payer number dwindle from 60k to 15k now in primetime. If I were Shin I would never CONSIDER taking a premium account! Frankly: now I've reached the tier IX-X levels with this conditions, I am seriously considering not prolonging it and let it "bleed out." And you "super aces" who always manage to make 300k profit. I can tell you this: you need noobs like us to keep shining in your microcosmos. To be able to put in your fantastic YT movies. And right you should. But is it TOO much to ask for "us, lowlife cannonfodder, yet paying costumers for God's sake" to have some fun and SOME reward for the mear effort too? I'm not expecting 500K profit in a meager/ mediocre battle. I try as hard as I can to fullfill my role. In my case it takes me that extra half a second to calculate my salvo. Which gets me wrecked in the process by you "aces." But at least I kept you busy so our aces can push on to the objectives. And I like to play the high tiers as well. I am only getting more and more demotivated at doing so. And IMO 45k players with me. So my proposal: nothing wrong with being something at stake. loss for a [edited]-up game: no problem. I'll shrug it off and trying to learn from my mistakes. But for God's sake. Stop punishing me for doing my best and simply not being able to shine like most other aces. Let me get away with some profit when I do my best and give the ingame manillagalleons to those aces. I'll keep spending RL cash to make my gamelife easier and the aces can keep shining in "glorious battles" which will be liked on YT 1000 times. That would seem like a win-win-win scenario, woudldn't it? Or am I missing something completely and should I get back to Tetris? Fine by me WG. I got enough to buy 100 PC's to run that simultaniously. But I'd rather spend it on more prem time and wonderful prem ships. Choice is yours though. You're in charge here.
