Lol. I'm playing to win and have fun. Extremely rare in the player base I've met untill today. Granted. My words were ill chosen. My appoligies for that. My point being: it's impossible for me to enjoy the high tier battles. Team work is essential there. I really don't mind if I make a huge loss when I screw up. That's the only way to learn to become better. I'm @ Kangeroo, Ibuki, Yamato and Montana in the top tears. Try as I might, playing my role. Scouting and capping with my DD, screening my BB's/ DD's in the cruiser or tanking in the BB's. It's always (ok, bibilical miracles not considered) the same result: good match. That'll be 150K. That pisses me off and leaving me an unsatisfied costumor. Especially in the Ibuki. I hear the shells splash the water. And about 1 or 2 seconds later... "Oh, I forgot: you have a triple citadel because the BB was looking funny at you." In the 5th minute. At that time I know I''ll never ever can compensate the repair costs. No matter how much Krakens I shoot, caps I take or damage I do. All with my Premium, flags and cammo bonuses. Even that's all OK for me. I absolutely don't mind the game being a commercial business. My whole point is: I like to play the higher tiers as well and grow in that. I don't mind if something's at stake. No, i don't like to lose but I'll take my loss as a man. I just don't want to be bugged. Being in commercial business myself (for the Sharnhorst Supreme I'll have to work about 30 to 45 minutes) I don't understand why a commercial enterprise is bugging off their own clients and making the top ranks for some elite slimes who happen to be that well in their petty universe. My handicap is I don't have the skills (slightly dyscalculy so every shot is rocket science for me and talking about an Aim assist is as big a taboo as critisise the high tear BS. But when I say "learn to see colors" to colorblind people, I'm being crucified) nor the cheats to make the tier 9-10 battles function for me! Indeed, we've been over this again and again. I'll give you that. But there's no solution which can satisfy us all. Well there is, but that's were my, again ill chosen, words come as a counter argument: this is our place. You don't belong here. Well, IMO: stick your place where it's very dark and smelly for all I care. I guess I can beat most of you "this is our tier and we are better then you" in RL-credit income. If this matter is not solved in a satisfying way, I'm out of here. Sorry for my wall of txt. To conclude my statement: I'm a very avergage player. I'll never shine in this game, because of my other things I shine in and my calculation handicap. And again: sorry for my badly chosen words. But, this game is a great hobby for me. I'm compensating with RL cash to make it easier. Is is that hard to make this game in high tiers enjoyable for me (and I think a lot of other carrying players with me)?

Nah, I'd love to make replays. In in every 150 battles is epic in my dire case. But I don't want to reprogram W10 completely for that. So I'll wait untill there's a simple 1 click only option for that. Why that's not there already is beyond me. But that's another matter.

Nope. You're "forbidden" to talk about this. LTP will be your only response. Nobody seems to understand this will be the eroding factor of this otherwise marvelous game. Somehow, like Synth_FG puts it: they don't want anybody to enjoy the high tiers. It is only for "us Holy players." You've seen how well apartheid has turned out in South Africa.... My point is: I'm not scared if something's at stake. But if you don't at least sink 5 ships, doing 1 million damage you are going to lose credits. It's as simple as that. Making the T10 (and 9 battles for that matter) extremely tedious and boring. So I wonder where this will end if the "saint holy divine players" have found something else.... So no "poor player" can ever train and advance to their sacred standards. being an experienced noob I always try to give tips and tricks to less experienced. So next time I'll have a great battle. But considering the T9-10 I'll let the baboons keep their small hill and have nice battles in lower tiers.

Well. I guess I am used to something. But has there been a "no win, no matter what you [edited]-ing do update" or something?! awesome battles. That's not the point. Only Wow's Gilles de la Tourette syndrome (vocal tick "the ship is on fire") has extended to "The enemy is about to win (every 5 [edited]-ing seconds and You lose. neh, neh, neh, neh, neeeehh." Sure I know I can't win all the times but this is getting ridiculous. I'm beginning to understand OP's POV!

I wouldn't mind if I were you, OP. Your stats are far, far better than mine... Whatever you're doing: don't change it! +1 for your performance alone.

This is a bit the same dillema with Benson B or C hull. Sacrificing a gun for other benefits. I guess it's trial and error in those cases. I picked the C-hull because of better maneouvrability. And the better AA is a perk as well. Usually take 2 or 3 planes with every run. (IF there's a stray endangerored species CV in those tiers).

Happens to all of us "victim" or "perp" I only hold my fire for 2 seconds if I see a ship @400 HP burning: I'll grant the kill to the arsonist and my shells won't make it in take probably anyway. But keep it in sight in case he manages to put down the flames of course.

Yorck was 1 of my most, how to say it properly, "challenging ships." Like Vogel explained (+1 for that work!) it excells in averageness. IMO it doesn't shine nor suck in any situation. Though it took me centuries to adjust (even from my micro universe point of view it took me long!) to that shrimpboat. My trick was to try to adept to the situations asap. Long distance sniping spree? Keep your cool and snipe along with them. Split up Yo-lo rush team? Turn into a DD, island cover and recon work. I have even taken over the DD's role when we lost all of them. And for the love of Pete: wreck your "WASD" keys! Never ever keep sailing in a straight line/ same speed longer than 2 seconds. Act like you don't have any armor. (which should have been better IMO: at least you'll be getting only overpens that way ). Like all ships: practise is King. But patience is the Queen by far in this vessel. I've had my worst and best matches in York: completing the almost deemed impossible XP missions with the Diamond event f.e. I turned into a DD in the end phase of that match and got 4 full basecaps. Along with some shooting damage of course.

Still haven't found it... Got fire immune very quickly each attempt. But I won't give up!!

Eeer yes I have. Met him in battle 2. First time in his "oh so secret Citadelmeopolis" 1 shot him after he peeked around his island. We won that 1. Second time we lost. I happen to watch him using the same tactic. (island exporation). Did see some movies of him on this Forum and everything is [edited], bad, lousy. Not making 1 suggestion to improve something. I don't like people who are always negative. Granted: I ranted a few times myself. But not always. I try to give funded arguments and suggestions. Never got a warning from the moderator. And I watched 2 YT movies of and then I saw enough. Island hugging and everybody was a noob except St Flammu. No I don't like that guy.

Met Clyde-The-Monkey. I killed him with a lucky fire which he couldn't put out. But they won the match. I'm having a win prohibition the last couple of days...

It's your free call of course. IMO you're giving up too soon. Yeah, there's a hype going on with the German BB line. I promise you it'll wear off soon enough. I give it 2 weeks at the most for the line ups to normalise again. Though I know how you feel about "cannon fodder" I can tell you: those gunners have been there too. I always learn the most from people who are better in something than I am. So trying to observe how they do it and to learn from my mistakes. So I only make them 100 instead of 1000 times And I nearly always see the sens of humor in it as well. "OMG, Ferry, how could you have been SO stupid?!" Is what I'm telling myself often. Hope you'll reconsider and if not: hopefully you'll find something else. Maybe a game in which you only fight AI. I think in all PvP games there will be aces far better than you.

Maybe he had acceleration upgrade. AFAIK that upgrade works both ways: decelerating quicker as well. I have it on all my DD's (which can have it of course). If you throw it in reverse it very quickly comes to a stop. Even quicker when making a turn in the process: that always bleeds a lot of speed. IMO the ruddershift isn't that usefull since DD"s can turn quick enough by themselves. The quicker decel can be a life saver too when you need to take a cigarette break so you won't rush out of your own smoke...

This. I got about 1.5 when I won my second Hiei ship. Can't get rid of the Hiei captains though. They offered my 1 camel for both. And I'm not selling for that price!
