Please correct me if I'm wrong (as stated I am very poor with numbers) but fire on HE is double subject to RNG-us: first the shells must "land correctly" And that alone is highly random (same as citadalling with a BB: I've mentioned my 5 bounces off a full BS Yorck @ 8 km range from a Izumo...). Second there's the actual catching fire chance. It is a flat chance: each shell has that % chance of catching fire. IMO it's the same as it is as likely you win the jack pot twice as once. I've been there, seen it, done it: the fire issue that is, not the winning twice I'm afraid! (-; There are "those games" where you have your fire chance buffed to the upper limit: stuffed with the right skills and flags yet your shells seem to be drenched in water first while your ship seems to catch fire by the mere friction og the water drops from missed splashes. Don't forget: this is a highly arcade game no matter how you put it and how much skill you have. In my Yorck incident both he and me were laughing our @sses off. "I'm ALIVE!?" How the heck did that happen?! Well I saw a sign with INRngI above your ship....

I fought 1 game against and 1 with Pointyhaired Jedi. He was a real pain to bring down in my Kamikaze! Dodging my torps like a pro like you only (RARELY) see in high tier matches. Next game we were on the same side. Luckily he didn't hold grudge against me. (-;

Lol. just scored 2 citadels on a Danae. With Kamikaze. Shooting HE. I'd say that's a perfect execution!

I highly recommend DE as well. For all Japanese cruisers for that matter.

Don't waste energy about this OP. There's no point in arguing about this issue I found out. The current system is annoying the hell out of me. It helps the actual TK trolls and overpunishes the stupid but honost mistakes. I got pink last week. Stupidly friendly torped a BB. He flooded out and sank. TK, pink. Not whining about that. But I took the damage as well and sunk too. So I got 2 TK's for 1 mistake. Though I cannot phanthom any legal system in which someone is punished double for 1 fact I am still not whining. I got a 16 battle pinkpenalty. Took me 18 matches whithout even doing a bumb scratch to get rid of it again. But like they so aloquently put it: it's perfect. So it hightens the fun... Curious though how'd they react if the same happens to them. I cannot believe there is anyone who has never accidentally shot a shipscraper when in TV...

I'll wait until the hype is over and then start. Like I am doing now with the german BB line. But that's not a choice option in your poll. (-;

Read the patch notes OP. The repair bill is fixed. Whether you make it trhough the game or get wrecked the costs are the same. So you can get from behind your island and go kick [edited]. it also IMO made prem cons obsolete in many cases. Prem DCP I can understand in T10. But the rest is useless: if you get focussed down in Montana your prem healwon't save you anyway. My advice is to reconsider your prem consumables use. In your case that put you in the red numbers.

Excuse me but what's your problem with OP? So what if he (she?) has made a new account to "reroll." And so what if he's kicking in cash into the game? I'm a wallet player too. Just because I like this game very much. it has become a nive hobby for me. I truely have the feeling there's some sort of loathing against wallet players. I would politely like to remind you to the fact paying costumors make this wonderful game going. And before you start: it's my cash for which I work very hard and studied very hard before I worked. Hell, I compansated a few allies which I accidentally and totally stupidly TK-ed with doublons because the repair fine doesn't cover the expenses. I don't give a rats [edited] for those €2!! I ruined someones game and I felt sick to my stomach for that. Otherwise I poletely ask you: do you mind if us game-carriers get some advantages?! OP is asking a genuine and legit question. I would buy them as well should they come available. It's up to WG to say yes or no about that matter and up to us to accept any answer. IMo that ship is so horribly ugly I actually find it beautiful. It reminds me of a folded paper ship as well!

I love the ships! I felt it was time to seriously start grinding the German BB line now. Man! Her majesty's armor is great! Just thick enough to fuse my AP shells! Got 3 dev strikes in 3 games. 1 shot 2 or 3 of them! Keep m coming. Granted: 1 of them got me torped in a suicide run. Well played! But IMO they're DD's whithout HE spam but with a very nice citadel!

Hear hear. Same for me. I'll start making more progress on the G BB line from now on. That hype has blown over by now.

If you're into BB's my recomendation would be Tirpitz. Didn't play Scharnhorst that much so far but IMO S is a bit more situation depending than T is. I've heard Prinz Eugen is 99.9% the same as Hipster. Now I've never been overly fond of the German cruiserline. And IMO P.E. is way too expensive.I highly recommend Atago above P.E. Can't speak about Kutuzov cause I don't have that ship. Also: coming weekend it's Jap ship focus. and last weekend Soviet. Don't buy Jap/ Sov ship now: maybe your choice will be on sale that particular weekend! Edit: ah I only now see you've made your choice OP. Good choice! Have fun with it!

I don't like it either. I can understand the "reality adding feeling" about it. But it's just a very random event. There's nothing a player can do in order to reduce the risk of taking 1 or increasing the chance of dealing a detonation. The most annoying part is the pure radomness of deto's. I think everybody can uderstand a deto if a hit was a penetrationhit. But now it's a roll of the dice. Had a deto once by a secondary hit from a cruiser in my dd. Laded clearly on the deck, doing 100-ish damage. Boom detonation. In another case I had to take a plane torp with Impregnator. Also a detonation. I mean come on! Yes, torps are ment to do a lot of damage but the damage output is always from the outside. I also heard stories of a DD detonating a Yamato. How on Earth could a pea shooter penetrate straight into the ammo room of a Yamato??

No. Haven't noticed in/ decrease in deto's. I'm recieving and dealing them "on par" with the statistical chances. Roughly 1% of the matches. Though I have noticed DD's are most prone to detonations. Never saw a CV detonate (doesn't mean it won't happen).

Somehow I have a bit of trouble making the NC function. Lots of overpens, bounces and the mysterious pen-but no damage hits... Sometimes I consider it to be renamed the "Rainbow warrior"

Mix/ not sure. I have a bit "trouble" with the gambling idea. If I want to do that I'll go to the relevant casino sites. And since I'm not interested in gambling (RNG-us is a fact which I don't like too much either for that matter) I won't. I have the gut feeling winning the eurolottery is a picknick compared to the chances to win a prem ship here. So I'll check the forum about this once in a while and see if someone has actually won 1. Or some other special price for that matter. Furthermore I don't really see the point in this: I like the daily missions as they are now. But I'll keep an open mind and see how it works out.

Oh. ok. It's the rarest achievement in this game. thought you'd be happy about that. IMO it was an awesome match no matter what. I was 2 meters (as a matter of speaking) from the last cap when you ticked the final 2 points. it was really by the skin of your teeth. OK, you're choice not to be happy with it though.
